Preface
Everything was going well. I was beginning to get over my father’s death. I had nice friends and a Lovely grandmother. But most of all I had him. He was the reason why I was becoming stronger and more confident in my choices. But things were slowly becoming undone. ... More people were dieing and I was soon to be next. My life was in danger, the notes, the warnings, the threats, were all becoming real. He was toying with me. My life was a sick twisted game to him. This wasn’t right! I knew he wouldn’t stop until he finally got his hands on me.
Chapter 1: The moving Crew, and Kalon Michaels.
I awoke that morning feeling sick to my stomach. I turned over in my sheets and pulled them over my head. I felt something chunky and squishy rising in m my stomach. I sat straight up and I placed my hand over my mouth. I ran from my bed and yanked my bedroom door open. I rushed into the bathroom and hurled my guts out. I held my hair up with one hand and kept my hair from mixing with the vomit. I hurled again in the toilet and let out a small groan. Slowly I reached for the small metal flusher. I pulled my head back and leaned against the white wall of nana’s bathroom. Dad’s dream had made me sick. I dreamt of him again, but I dreamt of the day he died. The way his dark brown eyes, just seemed to stare at nothing. The smell of his blood was unsettling. I remembered when he first died I always awoke with me throwing up. Sometimes I didn’t make it to the bathroom.
“Lena? Are you up?” nana asked from downstairs. “The movers are finally here. Come on!” she yelled loud enough for me to hear.
“Okay.” I managed to get out. I pulled myself to the sink and gargled my mouth out. I splashed water on my face and moved from the bathroom. I went back into my room and grabbed Embry’s clean jacket off of my suitcase and pulled it on. I had on a peach spaghetti strapped shirt, and men bedroom pants. The long kind. Me and Nana had cleaned everything up in my room to make space for my old stuff from Florida. Finally my stuff was here and I missed it with a fierce passion. Before I left I had everything arranged and packed for me to be shipped up here. I looked over at my alarm clock and saw that it was 12 in the afternoon. I had been up most of the night worrying about, the wolf’s safety and wondering if the wolf had killed both of those guys. I shook my head, making the thoughts scatter away and slowly I made my way down the stairs and pulled on my sneakers at the door. I felt that familiar tug in my heart and I felt a smile come on my face. Embry. I missed him. Even though I saw him yesterday morning it still felt long and torturous. Before I walked outside I looked in the mirror across from the grandfather’s clock. The mirror was oval shaped and had a unique bronze frame that looped around the glass. I looked into it and saw my eyes dark and a bit red. My black hair was down and it didn’t help but make my face look even more paler. I still had the bandage on my neck. I decided to take the bandage off of my neck and let the wound get some rainy air. I looked at the two small dark scabs that were forming in the tiny dotted holes.
“Gross.” I whispered. My neck still felt sore, and it was red and slightly puffy. I felt my anger build towards the men who had done this to me. I wish I was strong enough to whip their narrow butt’s. but I was human. They were vampires. Incredibly strong vampires at that. I still had trouble believing they existed.
“Lena! Come on!” nana yelled from outside. I snapped out of my reverie and pulled the front door open. I wiped a shaky hand across my forehead trying to shake the nauseous feeling that was coming on. Today it wasn’t so bad. The sun was still floating behind the clouds but I could see parts of the blue sky here and there. I looked out onto the road and saw the huge white moving truck sitting on the side of the road. Nana was standing on the side of it while pressing a button to make the ramp go up slowly. I walked up to nana and smiled a little.
“Morning.” I tried to say in an even tone. Nana looked at me and her deep brown eyes widened.
“Lena, you don’t look well.” she said placing her hand on my cheek. I blushed a little and looked at her. Her silver hair was still in a braid and she had on her knitted sweater with her khaki Dockers on.
“Bad dream.” I whispered tapping her hand. I moved away from her hand and saw four people in the truck already. I could see my brown boxes and my dresser and other things deep within the truck. I smiled knowing I would be close to home a little. I moved back so nana could make the ramp go up and put the boxes on. I noticed a face within the four bodies and recognized Quil. Another face came into view and I saw Jared moving a box down to the edge of the truck. My heart did a little leap hoping Embry would be with them.
“Nana you asked Quil them to help us with my stuff?” I asked pushing my hair behind my shoulders. Nana gave me a look and she raised a silver eyebrow.
“I told you we needed muscle to move your stuff.” Nana said bumping my shoulder with hers. I laughed a little, and turned around. I began looking for Embry, wandering where he could be. I looked in front of the truck and didn’t see him. I walked to the other side of it and still didn’t see him. But I did see Quil’s blue Volts Wagon. I groaned a little and finally decided to help them with my stuff. I hopped up on the truck and stopped when I saw Quil carry a massive box inside my house. Without any help! I shook my head and moved to the back.
“Hey Seth, Collin, Jared, Paul” I said as they all pushed a box to the edge of the truck.
“Hey.” The all said while moving the boxes. I stopped in the middle and turned towards them.
“You guys really don’t have to do this. you’ve done enough.” I said guiltily. They had already saved my life once and now they were helping me move my stuff. This was too much. Seth stopped pushing the box and looked at me through the darkness of the truck.
“It’s fine. Besides Ms. Louise said grilled cheese sandwiches are in it for us!” Seth said excitedly. I smiled knowing the feeling and taste of nana’s grilled cheese sandwiches.
“Say no more.” I smiled while walking to the back. I pulled Embry’s jacket over my shoulder and bent down to grab one of the small boxes. I felt a warm hand wrap around my waist and jumped up and spun around on my heels. I swung my hand out to find it only for my hand to be caught in an even hotter hand.
“Damn you act fast.” said an all too familiar voice. My heartbeat didn’t even attempt to slow down when I looked into those chocolate chip speck eyes.
“Embry! You big goohooga!! You scared me.” I exclaimed. I unclenched my fist in Embry’s warm palm and laced my fingers through his. Embry’s face became serious and he brought our hands down to his side.
“I’m sorry.” he said sincerely. “You must be still edgy.” he stated. I knew he was talking about the other night and I didn’t say anything for a minute. I shook my head and smiled a little.
“Were you hiding in here the entire time?” I asked stepping up to him. I could see his hair was falling into his eyes and I smiled liking how he looked like a bad boy.
“Yeah. It wouldn’t have been any fun just waiting for you at the door.” he said.
“It would have been even better with you walking down the street shirtless in slow motion.” I said while laughing and liking that image. He laughed along with me.
“I’ll try that some day.” he whispered into my ear. His arm was wrapped around my waist and his hot breath sweeping across my ear was making me dizzy. And just like that Embry made me feel safe. I didn’t feel so nauseous like earlier, I didn’t feel so shaken by dad’s death.
“You took your bandage off.” Embry said pulling away from me. I could see the seriousness that was creeping into his face. I looked away and reached for a lock of my hair. I begin twirling my hair around my finger nervously.
“The bandage got wet when I showered, and this morning it started to smell.” I said meeting his eyes. He bent down and kissed my neck gently. I felt my heart kick into overdrive from his scent, let alone his lips touching my bare skin.
“Lena! What are you doing back there?” I heard nana ask curiously. Quickly Embry and I pulled away from each other. Even though we were completely hidden by the darkness of the truck, I still felt I needed to respect nana while she was close by.
“The box was hard to grab.” I lied nervously. Embry picked up a big box and I picked up a smaller one. Once I was out the truck nana gave me a funny look when she saw Embry come out behind.
“I can imagine you grabbing something else.” Nana said chuckling to herself. I widened my eyes at nana and nearly dropped my box.
“You bad lady!” I said while walking up to the house. She laughed and sat down in her lawn chair. I shook my head. I was about to go inside when I saw someone getting out of a car. Embry stopped behind me and I could feel him staring at me. The person came into view and I dropped my box. His black hair was cut short, and his native skin was toned nicely on him. His chest was wide and firm. He wore a white button down shirt and his jeans fitted his waist neatly.
“Dad?” I whispered taking a step forward. The dim glow of La Push’s sun shined on the man’s face. I felt my soul go hopeful and eager for my father to be alive again. I recognized his face. I moved my eyes up to the man’s and took a step back. His eyes were a light brown. My father’s own were a dark brown, and he had a blue line going around his irises. It wasn’t my father. But I knew why he looked so much like my father. It was my brother.
“Kalon?” I whispered.
(W/N: Remeber whe Lola Chan and Terra were telling Kayliee about themselves? She mentioned she had a brother. Well Yeah, he's back and he's making Kayliee go insane. So what do you Ladies think of the first chapter?)
P.s. Instead of Author's note. Im putting WRITERS note. Mainly because I didnt create majority of the characters. etc etc. you all know. hehe Im shutting up now!

Part 2
Sam’s POV.
I was thinking of the night I told Emily, that we were going to war. We were teaming up with the Cullen’s to save the lives of La Push and the life of Bella. She hadn’t taken it all that well, she had cried for hours that night with me holding her in my arms. My thoughts switched to the smell of Emily’s hair. The way it smelled of vanilla flowers. A scent I truly did love. My mind slipped into an intimate moment between me and Emily. We were in our bed, with the sheets wrapped around us. Her moaning sent a sensation throughout my body and I smiled.
Sam you are in wolf form. So that’s kind of gross. Paul said thoughtfully.
I looked to the side of me, as I kept running, and noticed Paul and the others around me. We had just gotten back from the final meeting with the Cullen’s and we planned our strategy out neatly. Each of us expressing how we should approach the vampires, where we should line up. Where the battle would take place. Alice, the tiny vampire, had told us we would fight in some clearing, and that we should all be getting ready to leave tomorrow morning. At 12 o’clock p.m. the least. Emily wouldn’t be too happy about this.
Sorry guys. I muttered as I picked up my pace. Jared and Seth anything on the South perimeter? I asked trying to switch up the topic.
No. Just trees and old scents. Jared answered.
Quil, Embry, anything? I asked leaping over a log and moving to the west side of La Push.
No. Everything seems quiet today. Embry said in a weird tone.
We all were on edge about this entire thing. For all we could know the Cullen’s could have us set up, and killed on the spot. But my more reasonable side thought it was a silly thought. Deep down, I could tell the Cullen’s were good people. But old habits die hard, especially when vampires are your sworn enemies. I moved swiftly pass each tree and dodging a branch here and there. Jacob had gone back with Bella, basically the Cullen’s, to keep an eye on her. I wanted us to do this final sweep for today, so we could all spend some time with our loved ones. Especially Emily.
Damn it Sam can you at least control your thoughts for a minute! Leah snapped. My ears perked up at her voice, and I noticed she was getting angry. I had known all too well when Leah was on the verge of being angry, the inevitable time we were together….. Before I could help myself, our relationship flashed through my head. Me and Leah laughing while at a friend’s party. Her getting out of the shower. The time she thought she was pregnant, and I walked in on her while she was doing the test. Me and her in our old bed, her wrapped up in our sheets. She was the one moaning. Some part of me still longed for her, apart of me wanted her…. But Emily was my Soulmate, Emily was the one I was destined to be with. Maybe in another world, where wolves and vampires didn’t exact, only then would Leah and I ever be truly happy with one another.
STOP! I heard Leah scream inside our heads.
I heard her whimper painfully as her own images crossed her mind. She and I riding in my truck to go to the grocery store, me hugging her the night we had fought. The way it felt when I kissed her. I heard her snarl loudly and we weren’t seeing her images anymore. Instead Kayliee’s face came into our heads. Embry telling Kayliee about imprinting. The way her eyes lit up when he told her she was his imprint. At that I heard Leah scream inside our heads once again. We all watched as she headed for me and Emily’s house. Leah was beyond pissed, and as she headed for my house we caught her thoughts.
I’ll tell you what imprinting is all about. Leah hissed sourly as she phased out.
The air shimmered and I headed towards my house. Leah was not the best person to be around when she was this angry. She was already angry at Emily for her being with me, and with her being mad right now, who knew what she might do. As soon as my house came into view I phased quickly and pulled on my pants and headed for the door. I slid open the sliding door and knew Leah was going off all ready.
“Leah, what--” I began, but Leah cut me off, within no time.
“You want us to fight in some stupid, pointless war over a human, an ungrateful Bella who keeps hurting Jacob at that!” Leah yelled at me. I felt the anger slide down my spine when she yelled at me. Especially when she disrespected Emily and I’s home. I heard a muffled yell, and watched as my fiancé shove pass the small group in her home and up the stairs. As she walked passed me I felt her tear drops on my bare shoulder. My heart began to beat wildly when I heard our room door slam shut. When that door slammed shut, everything went quiet around me. I couldn’t hear a thing. The only thing I could hear was her sobbing her innocent heart out.
I could tell she was on the bed, because it creaked as she moved on it. Emily… Emily… Emily…. My beloved Emily. She was crying, again. Because of me, because of this outrageous war. For that split second I wanted to call off the war, I didn’t want to be Alpha any longer. I just wanted to be Sam Uley. I wanted to be Sam Uley, who loved that crying woman upstairs. I wanted to be free of all this responsibility and leadership. I just wanted to love her. Be the man she so badly deserved. But as that second progressed, no matter how hard I wished I could be normal I couldn’t. If I wasn’t Sam Uley, Alpha of La Push, I wouldn’t have that woman who truly loved me. If I loved her, I would have to embrace everything that I am. And I had. But at moments like these, when I was causing Emily the pain of what I am it killed me. My body began to shake slowly as I realized why Emily had been crying. As I looked up I saw my front door open and all the sound came back into my ears. I heard a desperate Embry call Kayliee’s name. I watched as Kayliee run off to her grandmother’s car and drive off. I moved my eyes to an angry Leah. She didn’t have the right.
“Leah.” I whispered in a deadly tone. Leah looked at me then. Her narrowed brown eyes, became cautious at my murderous eyes.
“Leah if you don’t want to be in this damn war, you don’t have to! No one is making you do anything!” Embry yelled stepping into her face. I could see his frame shaking violently, as I realized what had happened. Leah had obviously said some upsetting things to Kayliee, and caused a rift in Embry and Kayliee’s relationship.
“I have no other choice! My brother is in it. I’m not going to sit on the sidelines and wait for my little brother to get killed, by a bloodsucker.” Leah hissed loudly. Everything around me went quiet again, as Emily began crying harder. I felt the heat in my spine spread to my arms and legs.
“Get the hell out Leah.” I whispered eyeing her hard. Leah moved her eyes from Embry’s frame and looked at me.
“Sam you-” Now it was my time to cut her off.
“GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE!” I ordered loudly. I watched Leah’s body jerk oddly towards the front door. Being alpha did have its advantages.
“Fine.” She snarled and ran out the door. The house was quiet as I took several deep breaths before I spoke.
“Everyone, go home. Get some sleep, do whatever you have to do. I’ll round each of you up personally myself, and we’ll leave at noon. Collin, you already know you and Brady are staying behind.” I said as I eyed each of my members. Jared, Paul, Quil, Seth, Collin, and a weary looking Embry. I watched one by one as my pack members shuffled outside my home. I gave Embry a sympathetic pat on the back and closed my door. My house was finally quiet. I turned away from my door and headed up the stairs to my crying Imprint……

I hugged my knees tighter to my chest and cried silently. I had drawn my shades shut and turned the lights off. I found a radio player and grabbed a few CD’s I had back at home. I played the usual mopey, sad songs any typical sad girl would play. I made sure I turned it up loud. So Embry, just in case was outside my house in wolf form listening to me, couldn’t hear me crying my heart out. At this moment I hated that my grandmother was gone, I hated that she couldn’t give me the comfort I needed.
My brother was off being an Alpha to save his lands. My mother was dead before I even met her, and my father. My sweet, always laughing father. He was gone. I yelled out in frustration and in pain as the memories of my father flashed through my head. I watched as the lightening, light up my entire room and the loud and booming thunder settle across the sky. I took a deep breath and felt hot all of a sudden.
I was currently under my covers and my breathing heavily and my body heat was making me hot. It reminded me of being in Embry’s arms. I yanked the covers off of myself and threw them on the floor. How could he do this? Not tell me about this war. This war against vampires. And who was this Bella? Because obviously it was about her. My so called Soul mate was going to fight over a girl? This wasn’t making any sense. Embry, didn’t you care enough about me to tell me the truth? To tell me what imprinting was all about?
Didn’t he care enough about me to at least hint that he was going to fight? I muffled my screams inside a pillow I was laying on. My head was pounding, it felt like it was about to split into two. But that was nothing compared to how my heart was feeling. My heart felt like it beat every fifteen hours. This feeling, this chord that was tying me and Embry together made my body feel so tight and painful.
My heart felt so cold and alone, it felt bare. Maybe it was because Embry wasn’t close by. I groaned out loud and shut my eyes tight I tried hard to listen to the woman, singing her heart out to her lost lover. I listened as both the woman carried her note higher, and how the rain was soon drowning out the sound of the Radio player.
I somehow managed to drift off to sleep………..
Dream Mode….
I opened my eyes slowly to the sunny rays of the sky. I blinked several times trying to get my eyes to adjust to the bright light. I realized I was lying on the ground and quickly got up. As I did so, I realized I was barefoot, but wearing a black dress. But this wasn’t any black dress. It was the dress I wore to my father’s funeral. It was a sleeveless and fitted dress. The skirt stopped above my knees and flared out only a little. I could feel my hair brush along my bare shoulders as I gripped at the bottom of the dress.
“Kayliee.”
The voice was so familiar to my ears.
I looked up, but didn’t see anyone. I looked around me, and almost let out a scream. We were in the graveyard. The same place where my father was buried. Everything looked the same, the empty silver fold in chairs that were lined up next to one another, the green isle that covered a good amount of the discoloring grass. It was the same cloudless sunny day in Florida. Too perfect and sunny, to truly mourn over a lost one. I looked around again, and noticed I was the only person there.
No one was sitting in the chairs; there was no preacher, no grandma. Only me, some chairs, and a big rectangular hole that was dug out from the ground. I could see an all black casket gleaming from the suns light. The all white bedding inside looked uninviting and cold.
“Kayliee!” the familiar voice yelled. I turned behind me, and looked into those eyes of his. His warm chocolate chip speck eyes stared into mine. I was about to run into his arms, if it wasn’t for the look on his face. And the pale white hand around his neck. Embry had a panicked look on his face as I moved my eyes behind him. Those red eyes that I hated so much, bored into mine.
“Dear sweet, Kayliee.” The man said just above a whisper. He stared at me with unblinking eyes, watching me, as if calculating my moves and breathing.
The same unblinking eyes from that night in the forest, when I was with Embry and the pack. His golden hair was down and resting on his shoulders. His chest was still bare, and those black jeans that hugged his waist fitted him to the max. Panic shot through my body as I realized he was able to snap Embry’s neck within no time.
His pale arm was around Embry’s neck and his other hand, had Embry’s hands behind his back. Securely. I had never seen Embry look so vulnerable.
“Don’t.” I whispered as I took a step forward. The man hissed loudly at my movement, and I watched his eyes go a bright red.
“I love-” But Embry didn’t get to finish because the man had snapped his neck. A low sickening crack echoed in my ears, and I felt my heart stop. I stared wide eyed at Embry’s deformed neck. I moved my eyes to his eyes, and no life was in them. They were blank. Embry wasn’t looking at me anymore. A scream escaped my throat, and I screamed the loudest I thought I could scream. My body shook as I watched the man move and throw Embry’s body into the casket; carelessly. I felt my breathing stop and I had to force myself to move.
“Embry!” I shrieked as his muscular body lay slumped inside the cushion.
I was about to run over to the casket, but before I could even take a step the man had his hand around my throat.
“I will come for you once you’ve changed.” He whispered as his cold hard tongue licked the side of my throat. Those were the words that haunted my me constantly. My eyes were still locked in on Embry’s lifeless form. He didn’t move, not even a little. Not even at all. I heard the man let out a snarl. I felt his teeth pierce my throat and I screamed out loud. I could feel the fiery and torturous feeling in my neck. The man released me, and I felt my body hit the ground hard. I could feel the fire seep through the veins in my body as the fire spread slowly………
End of Dream Mode…
I snapped my eyes open and I looked around wildly. I hadn’t realized I was screaming until,
I caught sight of my reflection in my mirror. I quickly got out of my bed and placed my feet on the wooden floor. I took deep ragged breaths, just like my brother had when he was about to attack Sam, and swallowed hard. Embry was dead. He had died in my dreams and the feeling felt so real. I placed my hand to my eyes and realized I had been crying just as I had in my dream. What was I doing? I was sitting here crying, feeling sorry for myself when the person I cared about most was about to go off into battle tomorrow.
I couldn’t help but feel a little selfish. But he lied to me. But he didn’t really lie to me. I reasoned with myself. Yes it still hurt that he kept information from me, but after this dream. My eyes had opened for the first time today on how much Embry meant to me. Embry was going into battle, with me angry at him, he probably believed I didn’t want him anymore. And when people who doesn’t have the will to fight anymore…. But that wasn’t true. He had to know, that I cared for him. That just maybe I was beginning to fall in love with Embry Call.
(W/N: I know Lala & Her Weird self is missing..... but these last few chapters have been serious, and important highlights... so i tried to be as serious as possible. hope i pulled it off.!)
