3) What is City of Fallen Angels about? When will it be released?
City of Fal
len Angels takes place about eight weeks after the events of City of Glass. It continues the story begun in City of Bones, while also starting a new story, with new challenges and a new enemy to beset our protagonists. All the core characters from the Mortal Instruments series appear in it: Jace, Isabelle, Clary, Simon, Alec, Magnus, Luke, Jocelyn, Maia, and many more. (It even helps to have read The Clockwork Angel before you read CoFA, because some of the characters from the ID series do show up in it. However, it isn’t required.) City of Fallen Angels takes place two months after the events of City of Glass. In it, a mysterious someone’s killing the Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentine’s Circle and displaying their bodies around New York City in a manner designed to provoke hostility between Downworlders and Shadowhunters, leaving tensions running high in the city and disrupting Clary’s plan to lead as normal a life as she can — training to be a Shadowhunter, and pursuing her relationship with Jace. As Jace and Clary delve into the issue of the murdered Shadowhunters, they discover a mystery that has deeply personal consequences for them — consequences that may strengthen their relationship, or rip it apart forever. Meanwhile, internecine warfare among vampires is tearing the Downworld community apart, and only Simon — the Daylighter who everyone wants on their side — can decide the outcome; too bad he wants nothing to do with Downworld politics. Isabelle must have a really thick skull to be only knocked out by a hammer. I don't know, there is still something about Sebastian (or whatever his real name is). I just can't put my finger on it. Will have to wait and see if it is answered in the book.

I recapped and I was like bring on City Of Fallen Angels..me need some more Jace:D
Now we all love our leading men..but I have to repeat how much I love Jace..more so in this book as he just put that indicator on and overtook alot of our fave boys I think.
Just would lilke to mention that my "grass groping scene" title has made it to twitter and it is officially title "grass groping scene"....for this I am uber proud...lol!!
Apparently from cassandras herself in COFA ( city of Fallen Angels) there is a "Dirty Alley scene" with Jace and Clary...ooo looking forward to that!!!!
Now after feeling uber proud that Cassandra retweeted to her legions of followers 16,000 odd my book review on City of Glass..yes I am bragging..but there is only Kristy and Carolyn to brag to ..so whoop whoop...lol!! and yes it contains the smexi grass groping scene comment...that I had better get my rant up which is infact different to a REVIEW. A rant ya rant til you feel better. A book review I must be careful with its not quite as destressing as a rant as you cant give away storyline. A rant is for those who have read and understand.
To bring all these books to life on the big screen...spectacular result it would be, if done right:D Atleast City OF Bones is confirmed.
Idris and Alicante is the setting for most of this book. Jace's homeland/shadowhunter land.
Fave scenes worthy of the big screen:
1. Simon getting stabbed at the portal by Forsaken and Jace saving him.
2. Clary falling into Lake Lyn and passing out from poison.
3. Sebastian and Clary kissing ( she has a thing for incest..just doesnt realise it, poor dear)
4. Clary and Jace grass groping scene....squueeee!! but at same time...nooooOOoooo!!! incest...but is it wrong to go...YEssseessss!!!
5. ooo definant hammer scene with Isabelle and Sebastian..its hammertime!!!
6. Simon in jail cell
7. ooo Alec walking up to Magnus and kissing him on lips...wow!!
8. Magnus at Ragnor Fells cottage and the smoke pictures coming out of the chimney.
9. Clary throwing plates at Jace...thats a funny one
10. Angel Ithuriel scene with Jace and Clary and the manor crumbling down.
11. Sebastian fighting Jace.. Isabelle to rescue
12. Clary and Valentine having bound and silenced Clary and Jace to rescue and stabbed...sad face
13. Clary being told by Jocelyn about Jonathan and Jace.

Now the end of the book has the Seelie Queen asking to speak to Clary...Clary turns down her favour and walks away...hmmmm me thinks that was a bad move for COFA!!

....Magnus I feel is bad now....He has his hands on the book of WHite...I think he killed Ragnor Fell himself and orchestrated Clary into giving him the book once she got it as trade for saving her mother. I believe he was way too eager in the Accords Hall to get the book from Clary and he will be sinister in COFA....there is no real reason Ragnor fell should have been snuffed out by demons . I did approach Cassandra and well all she said was Sinister Magnus, interesting theory. I think I am on to something as ages back during a live chat she said she couldnt understand how nobody had figured out who isnt who we all think he is...not as in magnus for e.g isnt Magnus but as in good or bad or turns to the dark side due to power. Upon recapping thoroughly City of Glass I came to the thought that why was Ragnor Killed where was his body and no more said about him. Clary jsut took what he said and then magnus played his cards with Clary told her where to get book blaa blaa blaa...only she could get it..blaa..blaa.blaa and bingo she got it....gave it to mhim...he kept his word and brought jocelyn back from her sleepies and whalahh too easy. This book who ever has it is all power and she just handed it over. Seelie Queen is going to be peeved at that...I can tell:D

OK it is now 9.45pm and I have just finished this. I spent most of the past 2 hours reading this. Sorry not everyone reads as quickly as you do Kristy. As I have to be up at 6.00am I will write my review tomorrow. I don't think I will be able to concentrate at work until it is written. I have made a list of my favourite quotes, this time I noted them on the notepad on my ipod (it comes in very handy at times) and will post them with the review. I haven't checked must of the reviews yet (except both of you discussing my eeeeew's over the whole bro/sis thing.
Cougs you can now run around the house screaming with delight as there is somebody else to talk with you about it. And I will try to convince KC to read them! -

This is my initial review (and a long one at that) I am sure I have missed some stuff but here goes
WOW!! Once this got going, it was truly amazing.
You guys would have been having a good laugh at my earlier comments, but I am assuming that you would have been thinking similar things when in my situation.
I loved the smexual tension that was going on between Jace and Clary, Alec and Magnus, and Simon and everyone!
Jace – Well what can I say that Cougs hasn’t already said. He is gorgeous and as I have previously stated is now my favourite YA fictional character. I am so glad he isn’t Clary’s sister and they can finally get around to doing what they should have been up to from the start……
Clary – I am glad that she isn’t one of these whiney types (Nora etc) and has the balls to stand up to Valentine! She is going to be one tough Shadowhunter once she has the right training.
Alec – Finally he had the guts to tell his parents about his feelings for Magnus. But what a way of doing it. In front of everyone in the Accords Hall. That takes guts.
Magnus – I don’t trust him. I have always been a bit suspicious of him. He seems like he is helping the others, but he is always looking out for himself first, and only helps when there is something in it for him. Who really killed Ragnor Fell? Did Valentine’s followers or was it Magnus? And what is he going to do with the White Book of Spells.
Sebastian/Jonathon – I still think that he is pretty hot in that bad boy kinda way. Not quite Patch standards, but I still like him. He isn’t dead. He will come back in the next book. He does need a good kick up the behind or a smack across the back of the head for what he did to Max (good on Isabelle for chopping off his hand) and trying to kill Jace. That just isn’t on. But in his defence, he does have Demon blood in him and he was raised by the Psycho Valentine. I think I prefer him with dark hair though. Bad boys should have dark hair!
Valentine – Is he really dead? I am assuming he is as they burnt his body, but in these types of books you just never know do you? But if the angel killed him, then hopefully he is dead.
Simon – He really came into his own in this book. I loved how he went to Raphael so that the vampires would fight with the Shadowhunters and getting Clary to mark him first was pure genius. He really is brave for a geeky vampire. And how about stringing Maia and Isabelle on? He is becoming a real player.
Isabelle – How do you survive being hit over the head by a hammer or axe. How thick is her skull? Was glad she chopped off Sebastian’s hand as payback for Max.
Max – the poor little kid. He just wanted to be included and they kept telling him to leave. I know how it feels to be the youngest and wanting to be with the older kids. I was so shocked when he died, but I guess there really wasn’t any storyline for him.
I was so glad that Luke and Jocelyn finally got together and even more excited that Clary and Jace are finally together. When Ithurial was showing Clary and Jace the images I began to have my doubts about Jace being Jonathon as Jocelyn made the comment about her baby’s eyes being dark and not human. Jace’s eyes aren’t dark so I immediately thought “Hmm maybe he isn’t Jonathon after all.” I think that is why I wasn’t so grossed out by the grass groping scene as I should have been. And also when Jace came and got into Clary’s bed with her. And then when Jocelyn was telling Clary the whole story I worked out pretty quick that the other baby had survived and one was Jace and the other was Sebastian/Jonathon.
I suspected that it may have been Hodge in the cell next to Simon because he made a few comments about being in the circle and also he knew Simon’s name. What a way to die though. But I think he did deserve to die for giving Valentine the Mortal Cup. -

Now remember when you eventually start Clockwork Angel ( CWA) its like bones...where you get to know characters a bit and then it takes off....thats why I am screaming for CWP Clockwork Prince as I need more Will and Jem :D
