The Twilight Saga

This is a little fanfic I came up with about Demetri from the Volturi finding his true love. I hope you like it. I'll try to update regularly.

As I stood in front of the Volturi lords Aro, Caius, and Marcus I wondered how I got here. My day started out so normally. I had token a vacation and decided to in Italy during that vacation. My friend had told me about the city of Volterra and how beautiful it was. I decided to take her advice and I stayed in one of the little bed and breakfasts in the city. I went around and saw some of the sites and bought souvenirs for my friends; the normal tourist behavior.

As the day came to a close I was in my room getting ready for bed. My room over looked the main square and I was staring out of my window watching the effects the lights played on the water as it spouted from the top and flowed to the bottom of the fountain.

It was late. Nobody was on the streets and no lights came from the buildings except for the lights that came from the street lamps that shined down to light people’s way through the dark. My own light was off because I was just about to slip under the covers of my bed and fall asleep before I started to stare out the window.

A quick movement caught my eye and I turned to see what it was. A dark figure was standing under a street lamp wearing a black cloak and his-or her- hood was up, concealing their face. The figure was standing over a woman that was lying on the ground. Passed out, I presumed.

The figure bent down to examine the woman, I guessed. The figure removed its hood and I saw their face.

His skin was pale white and he had bruise-like shadows under his eyes. And even from this distance I could see that his eyes were blood red; and even though his eyes were frightening-and beautiful- they weren’t the most surprising thing about him.

The thing that surprised me the most was that he was inhumanly beautiful.

As he bent closer to the woman I saw that his hand had come up and he placed it over her mouth while his was at her throat. What I saw next absolutely horrified me.

He bit into her neck and I saw that blood began to spill from the wound he created. The woman jolted once but didn’t move after that. I realized quickly that he was drinking her blood. I don’t know why but I made no move towards the phone to call the police. I stood there in front of the window and watched the horrifying scene play out before me.

When he was done he stood back up and tilted his head towards the sky and closed his eyes in contentment. I know I should’ve been raging with anger, but instead I was frozen with astonishment.

His skin sparkled when shown in the light. It appeared that there were millions of tiny prisms embedded into his skin; giving it this amazing effect.

He looked around to make sure nobody had seen him commit this act. He bent down and picked the woman up and draped her over his shoulder like a jacket. With one last look around he disappeared into the shadows; leaving no evidence of what just happened.

I had stood at that window minutes after he disappeared. When I finally came back to reality I went to bed and hoped that it was all a terrible dream.

So, what do you think? Leave me a comment.

Wow! Dark Spirit you have blown my mind away with this story. I would like to hear some more. For her to witness Dimitry drinking blood and leaving without picking up her scent was quite impressive. I would like to know how she would get to meet him since he happens to be Aro's personal tracker. Also, I was quite suspicious to know Dimitry did not sense he was being watched? Excellent story I would love to read some more please......
i LOVE it!!!
Alright you guys, your comments have made my day and are much appriciated. Here is some more.

This morning I woke up with the scene still fresh in my head, especially the murderer; the beautiful, strange man with the blood red eyes. I dreamt about him last night. I dreamt that I had been the woman he attacked, but instead of killing me he simply bent down and brought his mouth to my ear. He whispered a name in my ear, that I knew in my heart it was his.

Demetri; a strange but beautiful name, I thought.

Throughout the morning as I walked the streets of the city the event I witnessed last night played over and over in my head; lingering on the man.

I was thinking about him again when I walked by a dark alley. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a man standing near the mouth of the alley. I stopped immediately and looked at him. I did a double take. It was the man I had seen last night; Demetri. He wore the same black cloak as he wore last night.
He stared at me with hooded blood red eyes. I stared back; still absolutely baffled by how beautiful he was.

“Hello,” he said. His voice was smooth and musical. It sent my heart thundering in my chest and knocked the breath out of me. He was absolutely amazing. And even those words were insults to how truly amazing he was. And I didn’t even know who he was.

“Hello,” I replied, a little breathless. I think he noticed because he pulled the side of his mouth up into a crooked smile and laughed once; amused with how my voice sounded.

“Are you enjoying your visit?” he asked.

“Yes, I am. The city is very beautiful.” I don’t know what drove me to do it, but I stepped into the darkness of the alley, bringing me closer to him.

“There is one place I am sure that you haven’t been,” he said.

“Where is that?”

“Come with me. I’ll show you.” he purred. He led me down a series of dark alleyways, keeping his hood up even though there was no light. As we were entering a dark underground tunnel he put his hood down and asked, “What is your name?”

“Jenna,” I answered in a clear voice; which surprised me that I could keep my voice steady.

He stopped suddenly and turned around to face me. “How can you trust me so completely? You don’t even know who I am. I could be leading you to your death and you wouldn’t even know it.”

I shrugged; letting it roll off my back. “Death is inevitable,” I stated. “It’s going to happen sooner or later. And if I had to choose, I’d choose sooner.”

“Why?”

“Let it be done and over with.”

He tilted his head to the side and stared at me with a look of confusion on his face. “You are an odd little human,” he said. I shrugged again; who cared about what he thought? I certainly didn’t.

His face smoothed out and he said, “I am Demetri, by the way,” He bowed, being a gentleman.

“Why are we bothering with introductions when you’re going to kill me anyway?” I asked; even though it was wonderful listening to him speak.
