He's getting in shape for Mission Blacklist-the war movie. I think that's the name of it.

Awesome! He looks great.

Brandy...

yes...he looks better/healthier than he has...in a while now. He quit smoking(thank god)....and he looks a bit more rested than he has in previous pictures/promo-events. I love that his hair is growing out....the "yum" sexified "twilight" hair is coming back....I feel it's short lived..and he'll buzz it all off for Mission Black List....NO!!!!!

I still think stress, fame and "partying" has aged Robert's appearance considerably..since the the onset of the original Twilight four years ago....

Rob has definitely aged.."rapidly"..his skin lacks luster, and his eyes lack a light or 'hunger" and "euphoria" that is clearly present in the 2008 Twilight pics. Maybe because it was all new and exciting to him....and he was riding on a temporary 'high" or euphoria with becoming newly famous...and developing a relationship with Stewart.
Now he looks older(tired of it all), and he has a patina/wear to his skin...and the light is dim in his eyes.....

I agree. He looks really washed out in comparison. I'm sure he's tired, though. He has been doing so much for a few years and probably hasn't had much time to rest. Every time you turn around, he's doing a premier for a new movie, or there's word of a new movie he is starring in, etc. The guy is super busy. Poor Rob.. get some sleep! I love that the hair is growing out, but I like him with short hair as well. The messy do is much sexier, though.

Brandy...

So you see the physical decline, too? I know he's busy...busy..busy...

But, he definitely has aged considerably..and rapidly in only 4 years....fame has done a number on him. What is weird..is Kristen looks unscathed by it...she looks well adapted and unseemingly beautiful. Launter's looks hasn't been challenged or modified by fame...he looks fantastic. maybe because they're younger than Rob....I do think the smoking/drinking contributed to the premature aging. I'm so glad he stopped smoking...I want Rob to live a long, healthy life...and make lots of legendary movies.

Rob clearly wears his heart on his sleeve....every line on his face tells a story...and projects emotion.

Yes...I'm happy about the sexified hair growing back...but, he's sexy with any length of hair, clothing...ect. I'm more concerned about his over-all health and emotional well-being....and his physical body is telling a  story from the inside-out ....and crying.."I'm Tired!"..... ENOUGH!!! let me be!!!! Right?

Love,

D.

Love these pictures! Love him

Sorry ladies I don't see it. He's looking finer everytime I see him. On the red carpet he  always looks impeccable.

Vicky,

I agree with you that Rob will always be a fine specimen of a man/human being(inside/out).....

I know when we admire or love someone we're blinded by flaws...(this is a good thing)....

But, I can't help noticing the difference...and "rapidly".

Maybe, because I have an Art degree and a Makeup Artist...I notice subtle changes in skin texture, color....

He looks different...his pallor is not the same or his vitality. Brandy summed it up precisely...it's a "Washed Out" version of Rob....still beautiful...but, diluted....

"Twilight" Rob... was amazingly radiant(even in vampire makeup)...he's youthful looking, his cheeks full....and healthy...Vicky, he doesn't look like this anymore. Maybe, it's just natural age progression...but, I don't buy it... it's too rapid...there is an underlying reason..and it's called FAME....

Vicky...I have to agree with you on this.

He looks incredibly good to me too. He looks like a more age appropriate 26 year old European Male....YUMMERS!!!

Yes DMK, I agree he has visably aged....but he is 6 years older than he was when he started this venture in his life. And in this 6 years it's the biggest growth change emotionally and physically since he was a baby. I like that he is turning into a manly sort and is loosing that boyish roundness he had to his face. He has a more rugged chiseled look now (not unlike Hugh Jackman) A lot of the Hollywood men you see that happening to them on the big screen and more accutely, because we have past pics to compare how they look now to what they looked like before. In one year a gain of 10 -15lbs can change the look of a person as easily as a loss of 10 -15 lbs. and the distribution is always different for each person. if they loose too much in the face too rapidly they look gaunt....especially after they've gained a few before they decide to get back into shape. The men that have a bit more wieght to them still have that soft roundness covering their chisled jaws. The skinnier guys tend to loose it sooner.

Channing Tatum is 32 and could pass for early - mid 20's easily, but he has some extra padding over the muscles....not a lot, but enough.

Now look at the incredibly gorgeous Alex Pettyfer, he is 22 years old and he looks the same age as Rob if not older.

Genes have a lot to do with how a person will age too. Rob's parents are in their 50's and they look great, but they do have lots of wrinkles, not to mention the jowls and hooded eyes are very apparent on Mom and Dad. Not all 50 somethings have all that. (My parents didn't) But I noticed wrinkles developing on my hubby (who is of British decent 100% caucasion) by the time he was 25. We started dating when we were 21...I thought he was 25 when we 1st met. I not saying all British caucasion people get wrinkles at 25 (Jude Law didn't) but fair complexioned people with dryer skin tend to be more susceptible to skin damage from the sun, than darker skinned people with oilier skin.(my observations and as well as reading up on some research on the subject re: Effects of UVA & UVB ray Damage To Skin and Melinoma Developement)

Sleep....ah blissful sleep....go with out it for long enough and haggered you'll look....which can add 10 years to your face very easily. However, youth is stilll on his side and if he gets enough sleep, he'll get his youthful rested look back around his eyes. But he is in his 20's, he likes to have fun with his buddies, and he can sitll stay up all night and function the next day.(all be it haggered)

I'm not too worried he'll "loose his looks" He just look more distinguished like Hugh Grant or Robert Downey Jr. He'll conk out and rest when he has had too much of the "party life" He's not your typical Hollywood party animal anyway...he likes the anonymus life and low key living. He'll get rest when he needs it. Unfortunately we see only the publicity shots after he has worked like a dog for weeks on end. He looked pretty happy and rested when he was Paddle-boarding a few months back.

Just my observations and opinion....I'm not too worried. We only see what the press shows us and it tends to be pretty sensationalised and biased anyway.

PS....miss you girls I loves these observations talks and glad we can share them!
