on second thought, i can kind of see what you're saying but when i remember the scene in which it came.....where he was first showing himself to bella, hoping she would run away and hoping she would not...i can kind of see what his expression is about. we're not used to seeing edward in less than supreme confidence and power. i think that's what makes that picture so unusual.
