so I went to Vancouver for a Convention this week. I booked my hotel with Expedia and they had a "blind Sale" for hotels with super discounted rates. I picked the 4 1/2 star hotel, because when can I afford to stay at a place like that at normal rates? Anyway, I found out after I paid for it upfront and nonrefundable, that it was the Sutton Place Hotel. Cool...very posh digs. So I get to the convention, enjoy my time there meeting with lots of friends etc. I'm having lunch with a couple friends sitting at this huge table inside the exhibit area. I mention where I'm staying and how sweet it is. sitting across from us a women says:

her - "the Sutton?...hey do you know the Twilight movies?"

me - "yes"

her -  "Do you like the series?"

me -  "yes I do, in fact, I'm one of those Twilight people ha ha ha"

her - big grin spreads across her face - "Well you'll be happy to know that you are staying in the hotel where the entire    cast of Twilight stayed to film the movies. I know this because my daughters and her friends begged me to help pay for a room there, so they could be in the same hotel as them, and they wouldn't get booted out by security. ha ha ha."

me - "Seriously? Did you help pay for the rooms?"

her - "No...I told them it was too stalkerish and they weren't old enough to stay in a hotel on their own"

me - " Did they get to see any of them anyway?

her  - "yes but only as they were being escorted to the cars and they were pretty much running most of the time."

That was pretty much the end of the conversation because we had to go to the next seminar, but when I went back to the hotel. I thought about where it was located and it IS in the right area of the city, judging from the pictures I'd seen of Rob and the rest of the cast walking around. Dang! I could be sleeping in one of the beds they slept in! I could have slept in the same room that Rob slept in!!!

Soooo Kewl!! squee! Hows that for irony....to bad it wasn't last year, when they were still in Van shooting.

I went to the Pacific Dental Conference because I'm a Dental Hygienist and we need to do Continuing Education hours to maintain our license. Seminars and conventions are the best way to get them. Also quite fun if it is in another city.

Ohmygosh, TOO cool!!!!!! O.O Dudette, what if you were in the same room that Rob could have been in?? Just thinking about that.. knowing you breathed the same air as him, seen the same things as him is kind of surreal, lol!! Thankyou for sharing your story with us, I enjoyed it also. =:) Raaawr...... Just thinking about that......

I kept thinkng....I'm riding in the same elevator; I'm walking the same hallways; I'm standing where he would have stood when he checked in and out; I may be holding the same key card as he did; I may be sleeping in the same bed he did.....it just went on and on in my head.....AND I HAD TO WAIT TO GET HOME BEFORE I COULD TELL ANYBODY WHO COULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

^ In that picture, you can see a peek of his tummy.  ~:-*)  I love that one.  And his eyes are so hypnotizing.. I believe in the discussion called "Robert Pattinson News", Caramella was saying how he just shows so much emotion in his eyes. That he does....That he does...... ;-)

Ahhh... IWDAV... Thank you so much!!!

It is 9:54 AM in my area, and I am in the middle of something routine and hideous, feeling like having a little breather. And...VOILA!!! Love every one of them. Thanks again. ^^
