Chapter 5

I was really excited as Kyi was coming around today at 11am for the weekend. So I did my Hair, make-up, I even painted my nails I got in some of the nicest clothes I had. I wondered if he had made an effort for today, I doubted it as he always looked amazing. I planned on telling him about what had happened yesterday e.g the breathing, the no eating, the coldness of their skin, their eyes, paleness, no drinking, even no sweating etc.
I was positive that he would find out and tell me everything and what was really going on.
*Ding Dong
11am right on time as always.
“”Hey Kyi, Nice to see you again.”
“Hey Maria, it’s nice place you got here, but is the weather always going to be like this?”
I walked down the stairs as quiet as possible and that’s when I stood on a creaky step.
“Hey Kyi.”
“Hey babes, you alright.”
“Yeh, you. Come in.”
I gave a quick tour of the house and then put Kyi’s suitcase in my bedroom. After that I told Kyi about everything that had happened, he wrote it all down and said the would find out about it when he got home. He told me that Rose and Toby had started dating and that was it for the moment.
“So been anywhere like town?”
“No, it’s not got a town for clothes shopping apparently you have to go to la push. But there is a pub a just down the road.”
“Do you want to go there with me then?”
“Yeh, why not. Better see what it’s like.”
So we drove off in Kyi’s new silver Ferrari, we saw a lot of people just hanging around.
Once we got to the Café I saw Bella there with her dad( I assumed) he was a middle-aged man I would say who looked a bit like her. As she saw me walk through the door, she smiled and pointed to the seat next to her gesturing to come and sit next to her. I pointed to Kyi hopefully thinking she would realize I’m not alone. But she pointed to me again and then to the two seats next to her. I gave in then.
“ Hey Kyi, Lets go and sit over there. I want you to meet someone.”
“Where? By that girl and man. They’re not the weird ones are they?”
“No, Don’t worry about them.”
We walked over to the table that Bella was sat at keeping a steady pace . As we got there the man looked up slowly from his newspaper .
“Hi, May I help you?”
“No! Dad, this was the girl I was telling you about. I asked them to come over.”
“Oh. Hi, I’m Charlie and I’m Bella’s dad.”
“Hey, I’m Sammie and this is Kyi. Kyi is just visiting me for a few days.”
I nudged Kyi in his side with my elbow hoping he would say something like hi.
“Ah!”He whispered .
He gave me a look that I had definitely seen before.
“Hi, I’m Kyi nice to meet you.”
“Hi, Please take a seat.”
“Thanks.”
As we sat down a middle-aged waitress walked over.
“Hello, Can I get you anything Charlie?”
“Uh, I’l l have the usual please and Kids do you want anything?”
“We’ll have 3 cokes and chips please.”
“Is that ok Sammie?”
“Yeh, fine thanks.”
Kyi just sat there eating his chips and sipping his coke and would occasionally answer the questions that Charlie would come up with. So would Bella.Time went by so quickly that I didn’t realize we had been there for an hour and a half.

Chapter 5 continued...

As the door swung open in came Edward.I looked at Charlieand his smile had turned into a frown,then i looked at Bella her smile had grown even bigger.Finally i looked at Kyi his jaw had just dropped i lightly tapped his leg with my footand grabbed hold of his hand,getting ready to leave. Kyi's mouth shut and ii decided to say something as the silence was creeping me out.
"Umm......I think me and Kyi should go as my parents might get a bit worried as there isnt that many places to go."
"Yes that's proberbly best. i should also go as i'm on duty soon."
"Well it was nice to meet you and we'll have to do this again. Me and Sam really enjoyed this afternoon."
That had to be the most Kyi had said all day.
"Yes i agree it was also lovely seeing you."
I was about to say Bye to Bella but had realised she moved to a different table with Edward.I studdered.
"Don't worry she does that to me all the time."
"Ok, Bye!!"
"Bye"
As we walked out towards the car a handsome tanned looking young guy was leaning against Kyi's ferrari.
"Wow he's gorgeous!!!"
Kyi coughed quietly just loud enough for me to hear.
"Sorry babes, so are you i ment for this town."

Chapter 6
part 1

"Hey what are you doing?"
"hey i'm jake or jacob wahtever you want to call me, anyway Bella told me you were new in townand need cheering up! So im the man!"
"oh well im kind of busy at the moment maybe some other time. besides im actually quite happy at the mo."
"Yeh sure, Heres my number. just give us a call when you can."
As he give me the piece of paper it had a small picture right by his number he gave me a wink as well.
When he passed me the paper my hand brushed against his. It felt so hot which was insane as it was he wasnt wearing a t-shirt and i was freezing wearing 3 layers.
"See you around Beautiful!!"
"see ya"
As he walked away i turned to look at Kyi, he was really angry it looked like he was gonna explode. i ran my fingers across his face and stopped near his lips.
"Whats wrong babes?"i knew it was a stupid question but he needed to let it all out. by having a bit of a go at me.
"What's wrong? is that he was all over you and i admit i was jealous and it was clear of what you thought of him."
he calmed down a bit after that.
"Look theres no need to be jealous. its gonna be fine like we've said before its you and me forever! ok?"
"Alright."
"Come on lets go. its freezing out here and its meant to be summer."
So we made are way home and watched a couple of dvds witha hot choco and popcorn.

* phone rings
great i mean i have to wake up to the sound of my moblie at 7am on a saturday.
"Hello!"
"Hello Beautiful."
"Jake! how did you get my number?"
"Bella."
"I dont remember ..........oh well! so anyway waht do you want?"
"Would you like to go out with me on monday?"
"I'd love to but im really busy at the moment!!Sorry. where did you wanna go?"
"Thats a secret!!!!"
"How about i call you and tell you when im free. ok!"
"Ok deal."
i turned to look at Kyi the last thing i knew he was asleep and it looked like he still was.
"Bye"
"Bye Beautiful"
As i put the phone down Kyis eyes opened. he got up and went tp the bathroom with some clothes.H e didnt even look or talk to me, so i ran to the toilet and just sat in front of the door thinking that he would have to come out sometime.

As i put the phone down Kyis eyes opened. he got up and went tp the bathroom with some clothes.He didnt even look or talk to me, so i ran to the toilet and just sat in front of the door thinking that he would have to come out sometime.................
chapter 6 continuing
After 15 minutes of waiting Kyi finally came out, he tried to climb over me but i wouldnt budge. he sat down on the floor.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Yeh, like im gonna believe that!!"
"Well the truth is that..........the truth is that...... It's clear that you really like him and he really likes you."
"SO NOW I'M NOT ALLOWED TO BE FRIENDS WITH HIM BECAUSE YOU THINK IM GONNA DUMP YOUAND GO OUT WITH HIM INSTEAD I WAS ONLY TRYING TO START MAKING FRIENDS SINCE IM GONNA BE GOING TO SCHOOL HERE AND NOT GONNA BE GOINNG ANYWHERE SOON. IF THATS ALRIGHT WITH YOU!!"
"YOU KNOW WHAT I DIDNT EVEN SAY THAT BUT IF THATS HOW YOU FEEL THEN........"
"THATS WHAT YOU WERE IMPLING SO I DONT SEE HOW THATS MY FAULT. SO THEN WHAT? WHAT YOU GONNA DO LEAVE BECAUSETHATS JUST PATHETIC!!!"
"YOU KNOW WHAT I AM GONNA LEAVE BECAUSE YOUR THE ONE BEING PATHETIC NOW"
We had never had an arguement like that before we were full on screaming i was surprised that my mum and dad hadnt come up to see what was going on.
"FINE LEAVE I DONT CARE"
I knew i was just about to start crying so i ran into my room and tucked in my bed and burst out crying.
I knew when he left as i heard the door slam.
After 10 minutes i walked into the bathroom to get ready just incase someone came over and i looked a mess even though i didnt really care.

chapter 7

Sam's POV
I quickly jumped up. I wasn’t expecting anyone. No one had called or anything. I was genuinely surprised when the doorbell went. I ran down the stairs, hope filled me up like a balloon. Please let it be Kyi. Please let him forgive me. I shouldn’t have gone off at him like that, he shouldn’t have gone off at me like that either.

I opened the door, missing the door handle the first time. Calm down, I told myself. I was getting my hopes up. It was probably the postman. I closed my eyes and sent a silent wish to God. Please let it be Kyi, please let him forgive me.

Standing in my doorway was Jake. My mouth dropped like a fish. I had gotten my hopes up, but Jake being here kind of made up for it.

‘Hey.’ He smiled, he stood outside, grinning as I tried to find out where my voice had gone to. I looked down, trying to hide my embarrassment but finding that my cheeks burned brighter. He was half naked. He had no top on. He was…well…

‘Are you going to invite me in?’ he chucked, lifting my chin with two fingers. I was looking straight into his dark eyes, getting lost in them, searching for his soul.

‘Uh…mmee…yeahh.’ I mumbled incoherently. I stumbled back into the hall, letting him past. I was so glad my parents had decided to go out.

‘Nice house.’ He admired, obviously trying to start a conversation in this tense atmosphere.

‘Yeah right.’ I mumbled, directing him to the living room. He sat down immediately like he was home, did this house feel homey to him…already?

‘I wouldn’t have said anything if I didn’t think so.’ He laughed before stretching. I watched in awe as his defined muscles stretched. I wanted so badly to kiss every inch of his chest.

‘Drink?’ I asked, trying to start up the conversation again. This was becoming more awkward by the minute. Think straight Sam, I thought to myself as I got up, walking to the door. I only realised then and there I would be embarrassed if he didn’t want a drink. Wait-a-go Sam. I scolded myself.

‘Uh yeah, what do you have?’ he asked, getting up. He was going to follow me to the kitchen. My heart sped up as I walked robotically to the kitchen, tripping over my own feet as I went. I had to catch myself on the wall several times, cursing under my breath. I heard the muffled laughter behind me, making me even more nervous.

‘Do you need help?’ he asked as I fell forward. His arms we around me in a flash: holding me up out of the way of the nearest cupboard that I was going to smack my head on. Phew.

‘No.’ I mumbled, annoyed at myself for looking like such an idiot. I was never like this with Kyi. With Kyi, I sighed. My heart melted at his name.

‘Sure, sure.’ Jake chuckled, leaning against the counter as I shuffled around, trying to remember where the glasses where. What was with me today? Jake shows up and I forget everything.

‘Need help finding the glasses?’ he quizzed. In his hand he held two glasses stacked on top of each other.

‘How did you…?’ I stuttered, stumbling towards him. I tripped on the table leg, sending me flying at him, his eyes open wide. I saw the glasses fall to the floor in slow motion. I landed straight on his chest, our noses touching. My breathing had totally stopped. What had I done now?

We stayed like this for a few seconds before I began to stumble backwards. His warm arms slid around my waist, holding me up before I could fall backwards. What was it with me today? I wasn’t normally this clumsy.

Jake laughed. ‘Wow, you must be the most accident prone person I have ever seen.’

‘Shut up.’ I giggled, hiding my embarrassment with fake courage. Could he see that I really wasn’t enjoying this?

I turned away, trying to calm myself down, my heart was beating like I was running a marathon. Calm down Sam. He is just a boy. Just an incredibly fit boy that is standing in my kitchen, half naked with me pressed to his body. I swear this was a dream.

I felt something brush against my next, shivers rolled down my spine. His lips were on my neck, working their way up to my jaw line. I froze. I felt his lips move away, I didn’t unfreeze my position. I had barely just met this boy.

‘Did I do something wrong?’ he asked, it was obvious he liked my reaction. I turned to face him, staring into his deep eyes, starring at his soul.

‘No.’ My voice broke but before I could say anymore his lips were on mine. They were fierce against mine, his breath was coming in big gulps. I felt dizzy, it felt different. Kissing Jake was nothing like Kyi. Kyi was gentle and understanding. Jake was the opposite and somehow I liked it.

I don’t know how long we sat there, leaning against the kitchen counter kissing but before long it was dark and the loud rumbles of my stomach began to notify me that I needed something to eat.

‘You staying for tea?’ I asked Jake while my head was in the fridge, trying to find some leftovers. My parents were out for a day and wouldn’t be coming back till late and I couldn’t trust myself to cook.

‘Sure.’ He smiled, joining me in looking for something to eat. He pulled out lots of basic ingredients and laid them on the table. Was he suggesting I cook?

‘I cant cook.’ I whined, raising my hands in the air in an ‘I'm guilty’ pose.

‘Fine, I will.’ He stated before reaching over to the aprons that hung up on the door and flicking through them. That’s when I remembered the ‘Kiss the Cook’ apron that Dad had bought mum on her last birthday. I shut my eyes, hoping he wouldn’t find it. I opened them to find him already in it.

‘Humm, I may have to borrow this apron permanently.’ He chuckled, sitting on the table next to me. He leaned in and I knew what he was after. I went to kiss him on the lips, a smug smile played on his lips.

I quickly grabbed the floor from behind him and jolted it I his face. His mouth hung open in a wide ‘o’ as I fell on the floor laughing. His whole face was white as snow. He was so hilarious.

That’s when I felt to hands grab my waist and lift me into the air before his face was pressed against mine. The kiss didn’t last long before he grabs some flour out of the packet and rubbed it in my face.

I looked around the kitchen, it was a bombsite. Flour was scattered everywhere. ‘Jake…’ I accused, giggles erupting from my mouth.

‘Your house, you mess.’ He said, going to walk out of the door.

‘Excuse me but you are helping me tidy this mess up.’ I shouted from in the kitchen. There was no way that all this was going to be cleaned up before my parents came back with only me here, let alone me and Jake.

‘Be back in a minute, promise.’ Jake mumbled before walking out of the door, leaving the kitchen to me. Sure he would be back in a minute, yeah right. More like be back once you have finished. If I was grounded it was all his fault.

Suddenly the phone rang, I rushed out to get it before voicemail kicked in. I reached it wit seconds to spare.

‘Hello?’ I called into the receiver.

‘Do you mind if I bring a couple of friends over?’ a husky voice said at the other end. Who was this?

‘Who is this?’ I asked, wondering if I should just end the call now. I heard the beep beep of the phone as another call came in. Which one was more important.

I was just about to hit the red button when Jake’s voice came in through the speaker. ‘Sam! Get out the way Paul, and get off my phone.’

‘Jake?’ I questioned, my finger moving away from the red button, the other person can wait.

‘Sam! Sorry. Paul was being an idiot like always.’ Jake apologized down the phone.

‘I thought you were coming back – not hanging out with friends.’ I spat down the phone. Rejection filled me up inside.

‘These are my little helpers – ouch.’ Jake muttered.

‘Jake?’ I asked down the phone. Was he ok?

‘Don’t worry. Paul doesn’t like to be called little.’ Jake chuckled.

‘So, you are coming back?’ I asked, my eyes flickered to the mess in the kitchen.

‘Yep - If you don’t mind me bringing some friends?’

‘Fine Jake. Not too many, mum will take it as a party if she gets home before you leave.’ I sighed. I wasn’t going to have to clean up alone.

‘Uh. I promise they will leave early.’ Jake pleaded, how many was he going to bring. I was thinking two or three.

‘How many.’ I breathed.

‘You have to wait and see.’ Someone called down the phone. Great, immature teenagers running wild in my house. My house was not going to be clean by morning, let alone before my parents came back. Sigh.

Surprisingly the house was tidy within an hour, more tidy that before. Jake wore the apron everywhere much to his friends amusement. Jake kept sneaking kisses with me every few minutes, each time there would be cat calls and wolf whistles.

Suddenly there was a knock at my door. The parents. I quickly looked around at everyone’s shock faces. Before I could tell them to hide, they were out of the back door. I heard the keys in the lock, waiting patiently for mum to notice the shoes that Jake’s friends left behind.

‘We are home.’ Mum giggled, I walked slowly up to my bedroom, kicking the shoes further under the table that stood in the hall. Please don’t notice the shoes. I begged as I walked slowly to my room. That’s when I remembered Kyi. Tears streamed down my face.

What was I doing. I loved Kyi, I loved Jake. Kyi didn’t love me anymore. Jake did, I think. My head span as I thought back to today’s events. Tears streamed down my face faster than before. I missed him.

Chapter 7

Kyi's POV
Urg. I love that girl but god shes just gone to far this time. I'm not sure i can take any of this any more.I mean we've never had a arguement like that and we've been going out for 2 1/2 years. Maybe we werent meant to be together.What am i mumbling on about i love her like crazy.

I hate her for making me love her so much.
maybe i should turn around and go and apologise or maybe i should wait for her to call me. Home! At last!
"Hey, What are you doing here i thought you were at Sam's"
"Hey mum, i don't really want to talk about her now please. Cant we talk about something else the world doesnt evolve around her you know!"
"Alright calm down i was only asking.What happened with you two?"
"Nothing. I mean we had a fight. OK.Im going to bed"

Right what am i gonna do. For Godsake why is life so boring.Whats this?
He takes out the little piece of paper with all the wierd stuff that sam spotted.
He turns to the computer and types in the first thing on his list.
Vampires how stupid is that. Lol. He types in types in the next thing on his list. Vampires again he types it all in at once and it comes up with Vampire legends.
Wait maybe this is true i suppose they could be. Its late i'll look at it tommorrow.

He slowly walks up to his bed and collaspes.
Wierd its 3pm i've never overslpet in my life. I walked down stairs feeling really hungry.
