I am getting spammed with emails from the community. How can I fix this?

Go to "my settings" on the right side of your page (it is below the
"my friends" and "sign out" links). Go to "Email" on the left side.
Uncheck everything that you do not want to receive notifications for.
Also click "clear my follow list" (It's a box with those words
inside). OR, if you do not wish to receive any email notifications,
click the last box, "None, I don't want to receive emails from the
official Twilight community." Make sure you click "Save" before you
leave the page. If you're getting email notifications for every thread
started and discussion, click on the forum tab and at the bottom of
the page click the “stop notifying” link. Then, go to the top - where
you see 'view' and a drop-down box, change the box to sort the forum
by “discussions”. Next, go to the bottom of the page and click the
“stop notifying” link there.

This isn't working for me, i've tried the first part and i'm still getting emails, the 2nd bit about clicking on a forum tab at the bottom of the page i can't find it-help, my inbox is getting waaaay to full!!!

i have received over 650 emails since last considering i asked not to be notified of any emails

All you have to do is click Settings > Email. Scroll to the very bottom of the page and check the box next to: "I don't want to receive emails from The Twilight Saga". Click save and you're done.

when you receive a mail go to the last thread and tick the box personal messages only and then save. i did it and it worked.

There is no box "personal messages only", and I ticked I don't want any e-mails at all and I still get them. This needs to be fixed!

Sorry Betty I made a mistake. When you receive a mail click on the thread which goes to "To control which emails you receive."
Then in the list you tick only the first one which is "Messages sent to me" and untick all other boxes.
Click save.

I think that I have been more precise than what I wrote earlier.

How do you keep your personal address private . I don't mean the inbox on the side of the screen , I mean my actual email address I had to give to join the site . I am receiving emails from people on this site and don't want or need them . Please help .

Thanks but I mean from actual people, not the site. like for example i get an email from john smith from this site. how did he get my email address? Ihave done what was said but am still receiving emails

u can also click "stop following", which is right underneath where u type in ur comments, on the left side of the "add reply".

is there anyway to stop getting chain/spam actually on our inbox on here?
