How can I stop receiving emails about Alerts?
If you want to stop receiving emails about Application Alerts, opting out of them is easy.
1. Sign in to the network that you're receiving the Alerts from. Click on the "My Settings" link in the upper right corner of the page:
2. Click on "Email" in the left column:
3. Uncheck the box next to "Alerts sent via Applications":
You will no longer receive email notifications when an Application sends you an Alert.
Who can comment on my profile?
Comments on your profile page appear in the middle column. Any person who belongs to the same network as you can comment on your profile on that network and you can comment on any person's profile on any network you belong to. You can, however, turn on comment moderation for your profile.
1. Go to your "My Page" tab and locate the comment wall.
2. Click the "Edit" button in the header and click the "Yes - approve comments first" option.
3. Click save.
You will now be able to review comments to your profile before they are made public.
How do I change my password?
Change your password using "Settings"
Sign in to any network you are a member of. Click on the "Settings" link in the upper right corner of the page. Then click "Change" next to the password field.
How do I change my profile photo?
Change your profile photo on a specific network
To change your profile photo on a network you already belong to, sign in to the network and click the "Settings" link on the upper right side of the page. Click on the blue/green photo icon next to "Your Photo." A small window will pop open. Click the "Browse" button under "Upload an image from your computer." Locate an image on your computer and click "Done." When you upload a new photo, the old one will be deleted. New profile photos can take up to thirty minutes to show up on networks you belong to, so don't worry if your new photo doesn't appear immediately!
