I heard about KStew and Taylor Lautner in Australia. They went on this "hard-core" jet-boat ride in which Kristen refused to wear a waterproof mac, and ended up looking like a "drowned rat". Apparently, people in Australia are disgruntled by her behavior, as she middle fingered the paps, and cussed them out.

Then, Kstew did something that made me feel mad. She ran away from her fans. And the paps. But seriously, she couldn't have taken 10-15 minutes of a few reporters annoying her while she signed a few autographs? I mean seriously, remember the O show when that girl who flew 2500 miles to meet Kristen! What if there were a few Aussie gals who wanted to and couldn't when their Bella ran away?

I am ticked off at her. Dealing with the paps and the huge fan base (without whom there would be nothing! After all, fans are THE reason for all this!) comes with the territory, and all of them should learn to deal. We get it, everybody wants privacy. But still, come ON! Geez, guys! I don't have all the facts, but I know how upset I'd be if I saw KStew, or Taylor or whoever, and they ran away from me when all I wanted was an autograph and chance to meet them.

There were also pictures of a Kristen in a knit hat (Ala Rob) smoking on her hotel room's balcony, in which she flipped the bird at the paparazzi. Very mature. Seriously? Girl, you're 20 years old! Stop acting like you're 16.

Whatever. I hope this article proves to be rubbish and she didn't do most of that. But there are pictures online, of all the flipping off she did.

I feel better, now. I've had a chance to vent. In other news, I watched Twilight 3 times on tv, when it was repeated after being shown. Three of my friends call me, "Ohh watch Twilight, its on!!" And then my neighbor texts, "Twilight's on tv!". After that my (only) twihard aunt who lives on the other side of town calls me too. It was hilarious! :P

I know what you are saying but no, I don't think it was wrong everything she did. When I saw the pictures of her tellings the paps where to go, I praised her. Because if I had one person as opposed to the hundreds of people screaming and flashing camera lights in her face - I would do exactly the same thing because that's the type of person I am.

Sure, I'd be a bit put off if Kristen was next to me and I wanted to meet her/get a picture or an autograph and she ran away... but I see the stuff people ask her, the way people follow her around everyone, trying to get a picture which at the end of the day, they get compensated for... Well, I would totally understand why she would run like the wind.

Um, well. There are two extreme ways of handling the whole thing. Like I said, I don't have all the facts. There may have been something else going on. The paparazzi may have taken annoying to a whole new level? Who knows.

But still, I'm different. My dad is the diplomat of the family, and I take after him at times like this. I try to come to a solution which is not that extreme. She has her back up now, I guess, at her tethers end? I might have flipped all those photographers off, but I would have tried not to run from the fans. Well, that's how I feel about it. Everybody's different *shrugs*

BTW! Less than a month left for Eclipse! Watching all that Twilight has excited me for it :)

I think there are two kinds of actors/actresses; one who wants the fame and fortune, and the other who truly loves the craft and loves to tell a story. If you look at Kristen's resume, most are indie, low-budget type films-meant to be expressive and tell a story. She never expected the movie franchise to go so far. She is the type of actress who loves the craft and the stories, and loves becoming the characters etc. She goes deep. She's the type that doesn't get caught up in the hype, and just wants to do what she loves. Yes it was disrespectful to her fans, and I'm sure she didn't want to ignore them, but w/ the paps right there...what is she to do?
Think about walking down the street w/ camera's in your face, just inches away from you, ALL the time. I couldn't do it. Those paps get a lot of money from a stupid picture. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of making money off of me by giving them a good pic. Just me though. Sure I feel sorry for her fans, but she can't stop everytime, she'd never get anywhere.

Well, every story has two sides. We all see differently. Sure, I was pretty annoyed, but we can share the two POV's and appreciate the difference in opinion. So, agreeing to disagree is an option :)

I'm just saying that dealing with the attention/pictures comes with the territory. She dealt with it in a way that I didn't agree with, but I'm not exactly hating on her, either. She definitely may have had other stuff going on, and media portrays things a heck of a lot different than they are, as well. So, I agree to disagree.

you can't stop for every picture and every fan but she didn't handle that very well. she could have said i'm sorry i don't have alot of tame now and left or something along those lines. as for the paparazzi....they deserved that flick off lol. but then again riya said they get paid for a good picture..well they get paid for the pictures like that too. the paparazzi always love to portray a good actor/actress as an a**. so they probably got paid just as much, if not more, for those pictures of her flipping the camera off. she should have just put something over her face or something and ran away from the cameras. she could have handled that alot better.

i really don't mean to start an arguement, but kristen should've kown what she was signing up for. Twilight already had a devoted fan base. Making a movie on twilight is about the same as making a movie on uglie or vampire academy. there are already a huge fan base. She should've knwon there would be a lot of fans. Frankly, she's ignorant to not expect to have a lot of fans for that movie.
