The Twilight Saga

Twilight Relation: There are vampires in the other {Shadow} realm.

*Plot*

Once there was a world known to many; Its name was Earth.  This world thrived and prospered, and many watched as it mantained life over the course of millions of years. The most sucessful species, humans, ruled the land with no fear.  However, they forgot one thing.

They were not the only ones that existed in this universe.

There once was a small town huddled in a hillside in England.  Not many people bothered with or knew about that town, but it was a nice and peaceful place to live at. There was green grass and meadows as far as the eye could see. There was also bright forests that lined the horizon, and a large hill where one could watch the sunset as the vibrant colors cascaded over the twilight sky.  There was a creek that ran through the forest, and provided a source of water to the people in the town.  The forest contained many twists and turns of old, worn out, and downtrodden paths. Old rusted train tracks cut through the forest, and an abandoned railroad station stood on the borderline of the forest.

14 year old, Chisa Inira, has always wanted to see a train pass through the old tracks, but her mother had to remind her that the last time a train passed through was over a century ago. One day, Chisa and a few of her friends decide to play down by the railroad tracks. They began to throw a ball back and forth, playing a game of catch. They squeal in laughter. Everything seems like a perfect evening, but it becomes a nightmare in a second. The breeze picks up and the trees start to sway. Chisa throws on her jacket and calls it quits, but a loud whistle screeched in the distance. "Run!" Chisa screamed, and her and her friends stumbled off the railroad. A shadowy train appeared, riding the tracks like a creature prowling in the darkness.

This train was like no else. The whistle sounded once more, and ghostly dark smoke blew from the pipe at the top.

It was indeed, a train made from darkness and shadows. A train that may change Chisa and her friends life forever.

"Ticket, Please."

*Important Notes*

-The shadow train leads into an alternate realm much like earth, however, the people who inhabit this place are shadows/spirits.

-Upon entering the shadow realm, you cannot re-enter the train back to earth unless you find the key.

-All shadow people resemble something specific.

-Staying with shadow people or mingling with them can slowly make you one as well.

-After entering the realm, you must look for a key that unlocks the train door. Without this key, there is no hope of ever returning.

-Shadow people don't have names, but when they shape-shift to humans, they use an alias.

-Some of the shadow people can take forms of regular humans, vampires, or animals, watch out!

Name: Chisa Inira

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Bio: As a young girl, Chisa had always been interested in the stars and the moon. She had always wondered if there was another place out there besides Earth. Her parents discouraged her interests and studies, but she persisted with them anyways. After moving to her current town, she had become more interested in the old train tracks, and had always longed for a train to pass through. Her parents still discouraged her, never the less, but the flames in her eyes were never distinguished.

Personality: She's very childish, despite her age. She always complains when things don't go her way, and she loves to be the boss of things. She can be very clumsy at times, and bad at decision making, but that doesn't mean she can't be loving and caring. She finds her friends precious, and would do anything to save or help them.

Name: Kaito Nakamura

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Bio: Kaito's parents died in an accident 7 years ago. His older brother, Shin, is the one who takes care of him. Even as a kid he had a huge imagination. Ghosts, other dimensions, pirates, romance, you name it. Kaito would always tell stories that he came up with to his parents. His parents, being fiction writers, encouraged his imagination. However, his brother did not. Once their parents died, Shin didn't allow Kaito to say any more of his 'stories' and instead got him to play violin. Kaito loves playing the violin and is one of the few things he is very serious about. Kaito has always been curious about the train tracks, but not as much as the others.

Personality: Kaito is a very loud, bright and happy guy. He is very simple-minded and finds a lot of things to be fascinating. He has a lot of energy... too much actually. He could run around for hours and not get tired. It's practically impossible to make him mad. He's always smiling and forgiving to anyone who does his wrong. Kaito comes off as a careless fool a lot. He does have his sweet moments and hates it when people are sad- especially if it's someone he cares about. He is very protective of the ones he loves. Kaito is very imature sometimes and is always scolded by his older brother. Nobody has ever seen this kid cry or get mad.

Sometimes she has small flashbacks of her past. However it's usually small things like her being in a room (which she thinks was her bedroom) and two people arguing. She doesn't try to know more about her past. She loves anything black and usually comes off as a distant, shady, and dark person, which is one of the reasons people don't usually approach her.

Name: Alec Morgen

Age: 16

Gender: Male

He loved to read Sci Fi stories and comic books, constantly marveling and wishing that he could be in one of those stories, coming alive as one of the characters and living a seperate life in another world. His mother discouraged the idea of his fantasies, but his father always patted him on the back, urging him to keep dreaming. Because, as his father said, dreams have strange ways of coming alive. When he heard the story of the Shadow Train, he was instantly amused and tagged along with Chisa to go to the train tracks.

Personality: He laughs at a lot, makes inappropriate jokes everynow and then, and often smiles to the point where it's contagious. He wouldn't harm a fly, and often trusts others to easily. He's kind, sweet, although his manners could be better...

Alias: Gweneth

Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire

Friend or foe of the humans?: She tends to sway back and forth depending on whether or not she is thirsty.

Backstory/History: Gweneth, unfortunately, doesn't remember any of her past life. Occasionally, she'll see images of bits and pieces of her childhood, but not enough to piece together anything important. Though she tries not to think of her past of the way she died, it constantly weighs in the back of her mind, beckoning her to discover more about herself. Gweneth tends to have a rude nature, which most likely keys back to her past. Because of being a vampire, it's hard for her to stay near humans for a long time. She wants to, sure, but most of them decide to stay away because of her aggressive nature and thirst for blood.

Alias: Vincent Duccan

Shape-shifter or Vampire?: Shape-shifter

If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human and a python

Friend or foe to the humans: Foe.

Back story/History: Unlike most shadows, Vincent remembers most of his past. He knows he was human, and that he had a younger sister. While being human, he cared for his sister a lot and often became too overly protective over her. His mother was diagnosed with tuberculosis and unfortunately died when he was a mere nine and his sister only seven. After his mother’s death, he became rude, sharp-tongued, and didn’t care for his sister as much as he should have at the time. His father was at a loss of what to do about Vincent, as he was hanging out with the wrong people and being in the wrong places. His father would strictly tell him to not hang out with those people or to not talk back to him as Vincent did so often, but Vince refused and continued to be rude and argumentative. He took the train to the Shadow Realm one breezy night and hung out with the shadows for too long, thus turning into one himself. Now, with the influence of other shadows, he hates humans, regrets being human, and hates to be near them. He’d much rather do without them in the Shadow Realm.

Alias: Angelica Mercury

Shape-shifter or vampire?: Shape-shifter

If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human; Rabbit

Friend or foe of the humans?: Foe

Backstory/History:  Remarkably, Angelica remembers how she died and what her life as a human was like, but she hates that life and wished it was never there. She recalled the many times she would be hurt in school from insults and terrible comments, and she recalled the time when she was so mad that she took her anger out on her pet rabbit by beating. She ended up killing the rabbit, and she never forgave herself. She remembered when her little brother would scream and cry at her for hurting the rabbit. One day, she went down to the lake, where she boarded the local train. Sadly, the train crashed, and the passengers were all dead, including Angelica. What she saw before she died – was a black rabbit.

She can be very energetic and hyper, and she loves to cause trouble and hurt others. She also whines a lot and asks questions frequently. She also has a hard time staying on task, and she rambles on most of the time. She also is very childish, and loves candy.

She would do anything to have him, even if it involved killing someone. After Ichirou’s death, Amaya couldn’t take the world without him in her life, and so she committed suicide. Alias:  Atticus

Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire

Friend or foe of the humans?: Foe

Backstory/History: As a young child, Atticus was abandoned by his birth parents, and sent to an orphanage.  This was mainly because his parents did not want him, not because of any disorders. He grew up there, but was always more violent than the other children. He made fun with dead animals that he found on the side of the street. He once brought a dead baby bird back to the orphanage to scare the other children. He was always described as morbid, downright insane, and sadistic. He was so mentally unstable that no one ever adopted him. At around age twelve, he began to go completely crazy. He was like this because he thought that no one would ever love him. At age sixteen, he committed suicide. Ever since then, he has lived in the shadow realm, and has been mentally corrupt, but manages to keep a low and steady profile there.

Gweneth's eyes widened as Angelica jumped up. She had to move, but to where? The damn cart was far too small to dodge anything, let alone something like this. She tried moving to the side, so that maybe Angelica would miss, but Angelica's leg struck her shoulder. The force of it sent a ripple of pain down and throughout her body, and she let out a loud, painful scream as she stumbled back and slipped, her head hitting the ledge of the cart as she did so. A wave of nausea swept over her, but she shook her head, the pain numbing her to the point where she could no longer scream. She was sure she was shaking, from dizzyness and thirst, but what was there to do? Sink her fangs into Angelica's--Actually, that might just be a good idea. But would she be able to get up long enough to do so? Besides, Gweneth was certain that Angelica's blood might not taste that great. Spoliled, probably. Shaking, she stood back up and lunged for Angelica, her fangs biting down on her lip in anticipation. She was going to enjoy doing this to her.

Alec nodded his head quickly and looked back to Vincent. "We should do it now, before he breaks her spine," he added in. "On the count of three then," he spoke. "One, two," he paused, holding up two fingers, "three." He felt an adrenaline rush run throughtout him, as if he were on a rollercoaster at this very moment. He ran towards Vincent along twith Chisa and Kaito, knocking him over and off of Mei. His mind raced. What now? What if Vincent really was dead set on killing them?

-

Vincent glanced over at the trash can, not at all worried about what would happen to him. "Do you really think that with your spine broken, you'd be able to lift me and put me in there." He pointed to the trash can and let out a laugh. "I'm surprised, I thought you would have known that you won't be able to lift anything after your spine has snap--" He let out a gasp of surprise as the humans knocked him over and off of Mei. His head hit the pavement with an unwelcoming thud, and a stream of curse words left his mouth, all directed towards the humans. He couldn't believe what he had just let happen. He underestimated them, that was for sure. He certainly didn't think that this would happen. Angered by all of it, he curled his hand into a fist and swung his fist into Kaito's face. "Get off of me," he hissed, eyes red with anger.

(Vincent is most certainly evil. o.o)

(Omg I'm dying. Vincent is so sadistic and cruel and evil... I love him! ^.^ I love Angelica as well. She's just so... brutal! I love it! Haha... is there something wrong with me? I'm falling in love with evil characters.. xP)

(I know! I love all of our evil characters xD They're just so awesome and cruel. Is it bad to love them so much?)

Crap! It didn't show! Awww and I wrote a whole lot too! Oh well, I'm going to rewrite it but it's going to be way shorter to save time. T.T.

Mei closed her eyes prepared to hear a sickening crack from her spine that was sure to come once it was broken. When Vincent's knee dissapeared from her back, she opened her eyes in confusion. Was he showing mercy on her? He had better not! That would be too much for her to take! When she heared Vincent's cuss words a few feet away she turned to him only to see him on the floor... with the humans on top of him?! What?! Did they push him off? She gasped when she saw Vincent make his hand into a fist. "Wait!" she yelled as she ran over there. Thankfully, she was able to grab Vincent's first and stopped it centimeters away from Kaito's face. "Stay away from them!" she said in a murderous rage. She grabbed Vincents wrist and pulled him away from the humans, then stood over him. She jumped up and slammed her feet down on his arms, immobilizing them for a bit. She sat down on his stomach and wrapped her long slender fingers around his neck in a tight grip, digging her fingernails into his skin, drawing blood. Her back was turned towards the humans, and she was glad about that. Her bun had come off so her hair hung around her in a crazy mess. Her eyes were wide with bloodlust and she had a huge creepy grin on her face. "I'll kill you." she muttered, sounding like a deranged person and she pressed more pressure on his neck.

Kaito's heart was pounding like crazy and his head was spinning. So they succeeded in shoving Vincent off Mei. Now what? Kaito knew the answer. Vincent was going to kill them. The only responce Kaito could make when Vincent threw a punch at him was to shut his eyes tightly. He knew he had no chance of dodging it. This was it then. He was going to die. He was just glad that Mei was okay and hoped that she would kill him before he got his friends too. He opened his eyes after a second and saw as Mei dragged Vincent away from them.

(The site hasn't been liking you very much lately... :( I gtg now, goodnight!)

Vincent's face began to pale and become a sickly blue, and he quickly tried to calm himself down. Calm down. There was no point in struggling. If you struggle, she'll only tighten the grip on your neck and kill you. Just remember all of those movies, where someone dies because they were too focused on ripping the other person's hands from their neck. That was the biggest mistake. Don't grab at their hands, hit them in the face instead. He let go of her hands and punched her hard in the cheek, getting her to loosen her grip just enough for him to get away. He quickly inched away from her, coughing and wheezing and gasping for breath. She was dead. That settled it. He wasn't planning on killing her in the beginning, nor was he planning to end the humans' lives today. But screw that. Screw all of it. He was going to murder them all and laugh about it.

-

Alec looked at Kaito, then at Chisa. "You guys okay?" he asked, breathing heavily from the shock of it all. He looked back to Vincent and Mei, who both seemed to be bursting with rage and hatred for each other. He couldn't help but have a smile on his face as Vincent coughed and wheezed. It was wrong of him, he knew. He should never take joy out of seeing someone hurt, but he couldn't help but feel relieved.

(Right? *sniff sniff* Goodnight!)

Mei looked at the floor trying to regain her sanity. She was losing it and she could feel it. She didn't care what happened right now, she just wanted Vincent dead. She noticed something dripping from her face. Something red. She wiped her mouth and looked at her hand. It was blood. Blood. That cretin made her bleed. Her fingers touched the cheek that she punched gently and winced, suprised that he didn't break her jaw. She stood up, gasping. Not because she was out of breath, but because she was becoming anxious. "You know, if you weren't so cruel and stupid, I might have actually falled for you." she said with obvious sarcasm. Then she stood quietly for a second "Nah. Not even then." She grabbed the hair on the back of his head and pulled him up then slammed his face on the legs of a metal rollercoaster. She could feel the adrenaline pulsing through her veins. She pulled him back so that his face was right next to hers "How does it feel to be bested by humans?'' she whispered to his ear with a cold laugh as she slammed his face to the metal one more time before releasing him and jumping back a few feet away. 'If he gets me in another situation like that then I'll be dead for sure.' she thought.

Kaito was gasping for air. He had never been more afraid in his life. Nor relieved. "Y-yeah.. I'm fine." he said looked at Vincent and Mei. The air surrounding them was way thicker now. They both looked like they were on the verge of losing their minds. He looked at his friends with a relieved smile on his face "We got him off her! I was so worried he was going to actually kill her!"

(So...violent. I can't think about how much all of this must hurt. Poor Vincent's pretty face, getting slammed into a metal bar. :| )

"Well," Vincent began, finally having regained his breath, "that's a good thing to know, because I wouldn't have fallen for an ugly girl like you." He let out a pained scream as his face hit the cold metal bar. His forehead was seething, and he was pretty sure he heard a crack coming from his nose. He was so distracted by his own pain that he didn't really pay attention to what Mei was saying. He just knew that he didn't like the sound of it. Metal slammed against his face once more, but this time he held back his scream. A liquid began to fill up in his mouth, and he quickly scrambled onto his hands and knees to spit it out. The dark red liquid hit the ground, and he wiped his mouth of whatever blood was still there. He felt dizzy. Dizzy and woozy and nauseas and pain. He pulled a shaky hand up to his face and winced. It was sure to be bruised, as the slightest touch of his forehead or nose made him want to whimper. He wasn't going to, of course. He had already let them hear him scream in agony. But what could he do now? He certainly wasn't going to be able to stand and fight. He could barely stay on his hands and knees. The closest he could probably get to standing was making it onto his feet, but falling over in a matter of seconds. What now? His fingers gripped at the pavement in frustration, anger, and hatred. The first two emotions he felt, however, weren't directed towards the humans or Mei. They were directed to himself. Though the last one was directed towards them.

-

"I'm glad," Alec told him and nodded his head. He wasn't so sure that they should be so relieved, though. It looked to him like Mei wanted to kill Vincent, and she had every right to do so, but Alec wasn't about to let that happen either. He didn't want anyone to die over him or his friends. It felt wrong. Like his existence brought upon pointless fighting and possibly deaths. He called over to Mei. "Don't kill him!" he shouted towards her, looking worriedly over at Vincent, who was still coughing up his own blood and shaking. "It'll make you just as bad as him."

(I know... Omg I'm getting chills. Mei is such a ---! I want to make Mei apologize to Vincent for for being so mean. I hope his face heals... Dx)

Mei looked at Vincent and pouted out her bottom lip as if she was hurt. "But Vincent... You said I was pretty just a while ago. Don't tell me you're a liar as well?" she said. She walked over to him casually over to him, a wide smile on her face. She loved the scream he gave out just a few seconds ago. It was filling her up inside. She wanted to hear more. Mei has never felt this before. A part of her wanted to stop. Another part of her wanted to end Vincent. Just as Mei was about to finish Vincent off, the human's voice stopped her. Mei looked at where the humans were and stared at them. They wanted her to stop? Why? He almost killed her. He was horrible. He deserved to die. To hurt someone so badly like this was horrible and cruel and...... She looked down at Vincent and stood there watching him gough blood. Oh my goodness... Did she do that to him?  "I'm sorry." she murmured, and actually meant it. Mei, who had alway refused to kill someone. Mei, who always thought that fighitng others was pointless. Mei, who believed that killing people was wrong.. almost killed Vincent. She felt terrible. She dug her hand in a pocket that was on her dress and pulled out a hankerchief. She stood up and walked over to a water fountain and wet the hankerchief, then back and kneeled down in front of Vincent. "I'm so sorry." she said again, barely above a whisper. Her voice and her face showed that she wanted to cry, yet no tears came. She was so afraid. She felt so bad. She  wiped the blood from Vincent's face, her shaky hand was careful not to touch his nose.  Why did she react that way? Was it how she dealed with fear? She could tell by the look on Vincent's face that he hated her. She has never felt this crappy in her life. Her cheek was swollen and bruised, her body hurt like hell, and she felt incredibly guilty.

-

Kaito winced every time Mei slammed Vincent's face on the metal bar. Kaito nodded in agreement to what Alec said. "You're way better than that!" he shouted at Mei. He watched as Mei cleaned Vincen't face and frowned. He was worried about Mei... and Vincent. Mei looked really shaken up. As for Vincent, that guy took a big beating. Nobody deserved to die. Kaito firmly believed that karma got to people, eventually. Kaito hoped that seeing this would make Vincent less violent. But that just be wishful thinking.

(You want to make Mei apologize to Vincent? I thought it would be the other way around xD Don't worry, I'm sure his pretty face will be just fine in a few months...)

-

Vincent felt hopeless. He contemplated begging for his life, and that maybe Mei would listen, but he held back the words and let them die. This was it, wasn't it? There was nothing he could do. Just be terrified and fear for his life. From the smile on her face, he's able to start accepting it. He was going to die. No point in fighting or begging when he could barely let out a few words without having to cough. He turned himself around to look at her, propping himself up with his hands on the pavement behind him. Fear was clear in his eyes. And then he heard the humans. He stared at them, just as Mei was. They were...helping him? They didn't want her to kill him? He was planning on killing them, and yet...they don't want him dead? His head tilted to the side, or as much as it could so that his neck didn't hurt as he stared at them. He didn't deserve this, that much he knew. He nearly broke Mei's spine, and almost punched the one human. And yet, they were telling her to not kill him. He watched, bewildered, as Mei took out a hankerchief and apologized. Why? Why was she apologizing to him? He wanted to inch away from her when she kneeled down in front of him, but resisted the urge. The touch of the wettened hankerchief was both cold and painful, yet soothing and welcoming. "Why..." he trailed off, noticing the way she was avoiding his nose. She was being gentle all of a sudden, even though he had been so rough with her. "Why are you being so kind...to me?" he stammered out.

-

Alec let out a relieved sigh as Mei began to wipe Vincent's face of his blood. She looked terrible, as did he. They were both shaking to some extent, both bloody and bruised, and both confused and bewildered. As much as he relieved, he was still rather angry. He wanted Vincent to apologize to Mei. He needed to. Otherwise, Alec's impression of Vincent would never change. He'd still be cruel in Alec's mind.

(I am loving Vincent right now. I am enjoying his replies so much. ;_;)

( uh, hey guys...I'm really sorry, but seems like I'm going to be seriously busy for awhile, and I'm not going to be able to be on as much as I used to be. I only get an hour on the computer everyday when I get home, and I never seem to be able to time it right for when everyone is on, plus I'm unable to go on a laptop during any of my class, since these ones I really need to pay attention too, or my teachers don't appreciate me with a laptop in class. I hate to have kept you guys waiting at certain points, and I don't like making you guess as to when I'll reply. So I'm going to say this and I really hate to, but I don't think I'm going to be able to participate in the rp any longer...I'll do my best to try...but I doubt I'll be able to...I'm sorry)

(Aw. It's completely understood, Felecia. But are you sure you don't want to continue this rp with us? It's perfectly fine for us to wait.)

(I'm sure ^^ I'll do my best to come around and rp here and there, but I don't want to hold you guys up. It would be unfair)
