Twilight Relation: There are vampires in the other {Shadow} realm.
*Plot*
Once there was a world known to many; Its name was Earth. This world thrived and prospered, and many watched as it mantained life over the course of millions of years. The most sucessful species, humans, ruled the land with no fear. However, they forgot one thing.
They were not the only ones that existed in this universe.
There once was a small town huddled in a hillside in England. Not many people bothered with or knew about that town, but it was a nice and peaceful place to live at. There was green grass and meadows as far as the eye could see. There was also bright forests that lined the horizon, and a large hill where one could watch the sunset as the vibrant colors cascaded over the twilight sky. There was a creek that ran through the forest, and provided a source of water to the people in the town. The forest contained many twists and turns of old, worn out, and downtrodden paths. Old rusted train tracks cut through the forest, and an abandoned railroad station stood on the borderline of the forest.
14 year old, Chisa Inira, has always wanted to see a train pass through the old tracks, but her mother had to remind her that the last time a train passed through was over a century ago. One day, Chisa and a few of her friends decide to play down by the railroad tracks. They began to throw a ball back and forth, playing a game of catch. They squeal in laughter. Everything seems like a perfect evening, but it becomes a nightmare in a second. The breeze picks up and the trees start to sway. Chisa throws on her jacket and calls it quits, but a loud whistle screeched in the distance. "Run!" Chisa screamed, and her and her friends stumbled off the railroad. A shadowy train appeared, riding the tracks like a creature prowling in the darkness.
This train was like no else. The whistle sounded once more, and ghostly dark smoke blew from the pipe at the top.
It was indeed, a train made from darkness and shadows. A train that may change Chisa and her friends life forever.
"Ticket, Please."
*Important Notes*
-The shadow train leads into an alternate realm much like earth, however, the people who inhabit this place are shadows/spirits.
-Upon entering the shadow realm, you cannot re-enter the train back to earth unless you find the key.
-All shadow people resemble something specific.
-Staying with shadow people or mingling with them can slowly make you one as well.
-After entering the realm, you must look for a key that unlocks the train door. Without this key, there is no hope of ever returning.
-Shadow people don't have names, but when they shape-shift to humans, they use an alias.
-Some of the shadow people can take forms of regular humans, vampires, or animals, watch out!

Name: Kaito Nakamura
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Bio: Kaito's parents died in an accident 7 years ago. His older brother, Shin, is the one who takes care of him. Even as a kid he had a huge imagination. Ghosts, other dimensions, pirates, romance, you name it. Kaito would always tell stories that he came up with to his parents. His parents, being fiction writers, encouraged his imagination. However, his brother did not. Once their parents died, Shin didn't allow Kaito to say any more of his 'stories' and instead got him to play violin. Kaito loves playing the violin and is one of the few things he is very serious about. Kaito has always been curious about the train tracks, but not as much as the others.
Personality: Kaito is a very loud, bright and happy guy. He is very simple-minded and finds a lot of things to be fascinating. He has a lot of energy... too much actually. He could run around for hours and not get tired. It's practically impossible to make him mad. He's always smiling and forgiving to anyone who does his wrong. Kaito comes off as a careless fool a lot. He does have his sweet moments and hates it when people are sad- especially if it's someone he cares about. He is very protective of the ones he loves. Kaito is very imature sometimes and is always scolded by his older brother. Nobody has ever seen this kid cry or get mad.

Sometimes she has small flashbacks of her past. However it's usually small things like her being in a room (which she thinks was her bedroom) and two people arguing. She doesn't try to know more about her past. She loves anything black and usually comes off as a distant, shady, and dark person, which is one of the reasons people don't usually approach her.
Raven:
What does it resemble?: Secretive like a raven. Also tends to wear black a lot.
Played by: Ran-chan
Name: Alec Morgen
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Bio: Growing up, Alec was always a trickster and was very rarely serious. He loved to read Sci Fi stories and comic books, constantly marveling and wishing that he could be in one of those stories, coming alive as one of the characters and living a seperate life in another world. His mother discouraged the idea of his fantasies, but his father always patted him on the back, urging him to keep dreaming. Because, as his father said, dreams have strange ways of coming alive. When he heard the story of the Shadow Train, he was instantly amused and tagged along with Chisa to go to the train tracks.
Personality: He laughs at a lot, makes inappropriate jokes everynow and then, and often smiles to the point where it's contagious. He wouldn't harm a fly, and often trusts others to easily. He's kind, sweet, although his manners could be better...
Picture:
Played by: Misuto
Alias: Gweneth
Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire
Friend or foe of the humans?: She tends to sway back and forth depending on whether or not she is thirsty.
Backstory/History: Gweneth, unfortunately, doesn't remember any of her past life. Occasionally, she'll see images of bits and pieces of her childhood, but not enough to piece together anything important. Though she tries not to think of her past of the way she died, it constantly weighs in the back of her mind, beckoning her to discover more about herself. Gweneth tends to have a rude nature, which most likely keys back to her past. Because of being a vampire, it's hard for her to stay near humans for a long time. She wants to, sure, but most of them decide to stay away because of her aggressive nature and thirst for blood.
Picture:
Played by: Misuto
Alias: Vincent Duccan
Shape-shifter or Vampire?: Shape-shifter
If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human and a python
Friend or foe to the humans: Foe.
Back story/History: Unlike most shadows, Vincent remembers most of his past. He knows he was human, and that he had a younger sister. While being human, he cared for his sister a lot and often became too overly protective over her. His mother was diagnosed with tuberculosis and unfortunately died when he was a mere nine and his sister only seven. After his mother’s death, he became rude, sharp-tongued, and didn’t care for his sister as much as he should have at the time. His father was at a loss of what to do about Vincent, as he was hanging out with the wrong people and being in the wrong places. His father would strictly tell him to not hang out with those people or to not talk back to him as Vincent did so often, but Vince refused and continued to be rude and argumentative. He took the train to the Shadow Realm one breezy night and hung out with the shadows for too long, thus turning into one himself. Now, with the influence of other shadows, he hates humans, regrets being human, and hates to be near them. He’d much rather do without them in the Shadow Realm.

What does it resemble?: Sneaky like a snake.
Played By: Misuto
Alias: Angelica Mercury
Shape-shifter or vampire?: Shape-shifter
If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human; Rabbit
Friend or foe of the humans?: Foe
Backstory/History: Remarkably, Angelica remembers how she died and what her life as a human was like, but she hates that life and wished it was never there. She recalled the many times she would be hurt in school from insults and terrible comments, and she recalled the time when she was so mad that she took her anger out on her pet rabbit by beating. She ended up killing the rabbit, and she never forgave herself. She remembered when her little brother would scream and cry at her for hurting the rabbit. One day, she went down to the lake, where she boarded the local train. Sadly, the train crashed, and the passengers were all dead, including Angelica. What she saw before she died – was a black rabbit.
She can be very energetic and hyper, and she loves to cause trouble and hurt others. She also whines a lot and asks questions frequently. She also has a hard time staying on task, and she rambles on most of the time. She also is very childish, and loves candy.

Ichirou-
Ichirou's pupils widened as he was carried to the fire. If there's anything a cat's afraid of, its fire. Franticly, he mewed and gripped to Gweneth's clothes with his claws. His ears were flat on his head, and his pupils looked as if they might burst from his irises. Dangling helplessly by the scruff of the fire, he had no defense then to dangle there paralyzed and meowing for help that was never going to come. He squeezed his tiny green eyes shut, as he braced himself for Gweneth to drop him into the fire below. He felt himself free fall for about a second, before being swopped up into Gweneth's arms once more, and flung to the ground. He landed safely on his feet, gripping the wooden floor with his claws with great fear. His fur was puffed up, and he was breathing heavily. That was cruel, but I deserved it.. he thought to himself.
Chisa-
"No!!!" She screamed and lunged forward as Ichirou was released into the flames. Too late. She closed her eyes and then opened them to see that Gweneth had caught him and flung him to the floor. She breathed a sigh of relief and stood her place. She felt every need to comfort Ichirou, but she reminded herself how much she hated him, even if he was just a tiny kitten paralyzed in fear at the moment.
(Pfft, it was me who thought of it. It was genius, wasn't it? :D I'msosmart)
Gweneth couldn't even work up a chuckle at the look of Ichirou in a helpless position. She would take the time to later, if she could, right now she was dead set on revenge and anger. She looked at Chisa who had screamed before, and let out a breath of amusement. "Did you really think that I was going to drop him so that he could burn to death?" she questioned, tilting her head and eyeing the furball whose breathing could probably be heard from upstairs. "That's what you get, dumb twit," she sneered at him and went over to the couch, picking her stuffed rabbit up and sitting down. No use in hiding the fact that she had a fondness for the stuffed animal. Ichirou did just flaunt that fact around.
-
Alec stood from the couch and bent down over Ichirou, tilting his head with curiosity. He would never have imagined Ichirou so fearful until now. He patted Ichirou on his furry head. The pat was almost sympathetic to the touch, but was quickly over as Alec walked over to Gweneth to check if she was okay. He didn't know why he was checking to see if they were both alright, but he felt the urge to. Most likely because they had given him and his friends a place to stay. "You're alright now, I assume?" he asked, to which Gweneth responded with a snort and replied, "I was alright in the first place." This made Alec shake his head in amusement and smile, sitting back down on the couch.

Ichirou-
Ichirou didn't move as Alec patted him. Instead, he slowly pawed to a couch far from Gweneth, hopped up on it, and curled up in a tight ball. He wiped his tail over his face and quietly lied there, with no intentions whatsoever to transform back to a human. Instead, he mewed, "That's a suiting nickname." quietly, as so almost no one could here. He was bewildered at the feelings and emotions inside of him right now. He actually felt like he deserved all that had happened. If I wouldn't have been such a idiot, he thought, as he lay there silent.
"I'm sorry, Gweneth."
Chisa-
Chisa sat there astonished. She wondered if going this far were normal for the two of them. She answered Gweneth's question. "Well, you never know, the way you two tease each other is extraordinarily cruel. Unless that was a real fight." Chisa looked at the poor cat -- No, Ichirou, curled up on the couch. She sighed, and watched the flames of the fire dance.
(So glad you agree. :3)
Gweneth shrugged her shoulders and stared at Chisa. "It started out as him teasing me, and escalated to a fight quickly," she responded. "Normally, no, we never normally go as far as that." There was a hint of regret in her voice, and she didn't like the sound of it. She shouldn't regret what she had just done. He deserved it. Did he? She asked herself, staring at him as he curled onto the couch. Of course he did. He was being...evil. Yes, that works. She wouldn't have been able to hear his first comment if she had been human. However, being a vampire, she very well heard what he said. She almost felt bad for what she did at the sound of his voice. He truly sounded upset about what he did. She squirmed in her spot when he apologized to her. What was she to say? Okay? It's alright? None of it sounded like it suited her normal tone of voice or her normal actions. But this could be an exception, right? She wouldn't want to say something such as 'you better be' during a time like this. "I'm sorry, too, Ichirou," she apologized quietly, staring down at the rabbit in her hands.
-
Alec felt as if he had just witnessed a unique moment, something that won't be happening again. He had never thought that either of them would be apologizing to each other; at least not Gweneth apologizing to Ichirou. He wasn't sure what the two of them were feeling, but it must be at least a little close to remorse. Perhaps even a lot, with the way they both seemed so terribly quiet.

Ichirou-
Ichirou slowly moved his tail from his face. Did Gweneth really just apologize to him? It would take a lot for him to actually believe that she meant it, but somewhere deep inside told him that she really did. He felt soft and helpless at the moment, but all he could do was sit there gloomy and wary. He at least took the form of a human once more, he had had enough nightmares as a cat already today. He sighed and dared not look at Gweneth. The moment he took the rabbit he felt their friendship dwindling, but as soon as they both apologized, he felt it being stacked back up again. Slightly tired (even though it was still early morning), he leaned back on the couch, and closed his eyes.
Chisa-
Chisa almost gasped as they both apologized to each other. Was this healthy for them? She guessed that they had never felt worse for each other and what they did before, so she decided not to make much of their apologies. She frowned at the mood in the air and looked up the stairs. Where was everyone else? Wouldn't they have woken up by now. She shrugged, and decided to let the matter go.

(Darn it! Just when I got online Dx)
Mei slowly opened her eyes. She groaned as she turned back to a human. Gosh, her head hurt like crazy. That always happened to her when she had a nightmare. What really irritated her was that most of the time, she didn't remember what she dreamt. This was one of those times. Mei stood up and stretched. She changed out of the long black dress she was wearing yesterday and put on a short, flowy, crimson one (which made her red eyes pop out more) with black shorts underneath. Mei hardly ever wore pants. She was much more comfortable in dresses. She put on black flats and undid the bun on her hair and let her long waist-length black hair flow down. She brushed her hair for a few minutes, obviously still in a sleepy daze. She then remembered something that made her wake up. That's right... she told the humans she was going to help them today. She better hurry up and get over there of else they will begin without her. She turned into a raven and quickly flew to the building they were in yesterday. She turned back into a human right in front of the door and opened it. "Good morning." she said in a some-what cheerful voice and greated them with a smile. Yesterday's event was already forgotten. She widened her eyes in suprise when she heard Gweneth apologize to Ichirou. "What the..." she said staring at her in awe. "Why Gweneth... Have you and Ichirou finally get along?" she asked.
Kaito was a really heavy sleeper. Which is why he didn't wake up even with all the chaos that was going on. It was practically impossible to wake him up. Back home, he would almost always get to school late because it he would over-sleep. It drove everyone around him crazy. His norther, his teachers, even some of his classmates. What could he do? He was like a log when he slept. By some miracle, he actually woke up right after Mei entered the house. If it were back home, he would be asleep for a good 3 hours more. Kaito opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling for a long while. He woke up in a daze and let out a huge yawn. He looked around then sprung up out of bed. This wasn't his room.... So that means.... It wasn't a dream?! He got to his knees and looked down in defeat. He had convinced himself that everything last night was a dream. A horrible nightmare. Guess not. He got up to his fet and sighed. Damn it. He ran his fingers through his blonde hair and groaned walked out of his room. He walked downstairs a little dissapointed that it was all real. "Hmmm.." he mumbled as he walked. He then saw everyone gathered together and smiled brightly "Good morning!" he said. He didn't want to look sad around his friends. They had better things to worry about.
(Hopefully we'll be able to get fabric and such in time for Friday. Then, guess what? We are sooo going to pull an all-nighter dedicated to sewing, more sewing, perhaps some gluing, and more sewing. It will be epical. And tiring, that too. Goodnight, Meo!)
Gweneth shifted uncomfortably on the couch and snuck a glance at Ichirou when he turned back into his human form. She let a quiet sigh and pulled her knees closer to her and wrapped her arms around them. This was terrible. She felt beyond bad at the moment; beyond cruel. The feeling was terribly uncomfortable, more uncomfortable than the atmosphere of the room and the fact that she was still in a tank top and shorts. Feeling this way was certainly not fun for her. She would much prefer to not feel anything besides anger and slight happiness, and she could do without this feeling of remorse and sadness. She stared at Mei, then at Kaito. "It's not like that, Mei. In fact, we just got into a terrible argument in which he threatened to burn this," she paused to hold up her stuffed rabbit, "and to which I responded with nearly strangling him and throwing him into the fire while he was a cat. We apologized just now, and I presume that was all you heard." Her voice was monotone, and she was trying hard to not show any emotion.
-
Alec shifted in his spot and stared at Mei and Kaito. He waved shortly to the both of them, before shaking his head at what the two of them said. Could this really be considered a good morning? He highly doubted it. "I don't know if this is such a good morning," he responded to the both of them. "But I suppose that we could change that and make it better, considering that I dislike silence and arguing." He nodded his head slightly at his words. They could definately make the atmosphere better, he just didn't know how. A joke could do the trick, though as of now he was having a difficult time thinking of any.
Mei frowned the slightest bit. "Oh, I see. Pity. I thought you two were finally getting along. Well did he apologize?" looked at Alec and sighed "Very well. Terrible morning. Dreadful." she said. She closed the door behind her and looked at all of them and frowned a bit. Was it her or was there a gloomy aura in the room? Mei rain her finger through her hair once before putting it up in her usual bun. She sighed. This wasn't very fun anymore. She was losing interest. She didn't like atmosphere here. She was losing her patience. Not just with the humans but with her friends as well. Now that she thought about it, they have never seen her yell or get mad have they? She didn't even know what she was like when she got mad. It has never happened before.
Kaito chuckled a bit "It's a greeting Alec. Sorry." he looked raised an eyebrow and looked at them. They seemed to be rather down.. "Is there something wrong?" he asked, worried. Were they still upset about yesterday? He stopped when he looked at Gweneth holding a bunny "That stuffed bunny is really cute!" he said with a smile. Kaito had a big weakness for cute things. A lot of people made fun of him for it but he couldn't help it.
Sneaky kitty. My mom's boyfriend's cat is still getting used to upstairs (away from the two dogs) and we're not supposed to be letting her in the bedrooms without us. But apparently, she snuck into my room and is now hiding in a sleeping bag under my bed. She's adorable, but because she isn't used to the bedroom she's hissing and scratching at me. I'll just let her be now...
Gweneth frowned slightly. "We always get along," she whispered, or was that how she felt? Did the others not think that they got along more often than not. It wasn't as if they were constantly trying to strangle each other, it was just that they had a different form of getting along. One where he teased, and she mostly yelled. But, still, it felt like they got along fairly often to Gweneth. "He apologized first, actually," she responded and looked to Kaito, then back to her bunny. He thought it was cute? Strange. No one but herself ever pointed that out, and she always pointed it out in her thoughts by herself. She let the tiniest of smiles appear on her face. "I know," she told him with a slight giggle.
-
Alec shrugged and smiled. "I never said that you had to apologize for it," he said. "I was just correcting you and informing you of what happened." He laughed slightly and nodded his head. "Gweneth and Ichirou got in a fight, and I think that they both feel terrible about what they did to each other. That, or they're both secretly plotting to kill one another, and they prefer to do so in silence," he joked, and let out a sigh. It was good that he was joking. He hasn't joked once since they got here, and he was beginning to think that he had run dry on the joke scale. Luckily, or maybe just to him, that wasn't the case.

Ichirou-
"We get along just fine. Just think of our fights as friendly arguments," he said with a cheesy smile. He wasn't sure if that was the way to put it, but he said it anyways. "So, anyone want to explore our world?" he asked, turning to the humans, who were scattered around the room. Ichirou ran a hand through his uncombed blonde hair, and sighed. It had been a rough morning already.
Chisa-
Chisa smiled blankly. "Sure, I'd love to explore." Even though she didn't know if she liked this world anymore, she figured it wouldn't hurt. She twiddled with her fingernails nervously and looked around the room with a blank expression. It was so dully decorated.
(Short, sorry.)
