Twilight Relation: There are vampires in the other {Shadow} realm.
*Plot*
Once there was a world known to many; Its name was Earth. This world thrived and prospered, and many watched as it mantained life over the course of millions of years. The most sucessful species, humans, ruled the land with no fear. However, they forgot one thing.
They were not the only ones that existed in this universe.
There once was a small town huddled in a hillside in England. Not many people bothered with or knew about that town, but it was a nice and peaceful place to live at. There was green grass and meadows as far as the eye could see. There was also bright forests that lined the horizon, and a large hill where one could watch the sunset as the vibrant colors cascaded over the twilight sky. There was a creek that ran through the forest, and provided a source of water to the people in the town. The forest contained many twists and turns of old, worn out, and downtrodden paths. Old rusted train tracks cut through the forest, and an abandoned railroad station stood on the borderline of the forest.
14 year old, Chisa Inira, has always wanted to see a train pass through the old tracks, but her mother had to remind her that the last time a train passed through was over a century ago. One day, Chisa and a few of her friends decide to play down by the railroad tracks. They began to throw a ball back and forth, playing a game of catch. They squeal in laughter. Everything seems like a perfect evening, but it becomes a nightmare in a second. The breeze picks up and the trees start to sway. Chisa throws on her jacket and calls it quits, but a loud whistle screeched in the distance. "Run!" Chisa screamed, and her and her friends stumbled off the railroad. A shadowy train appeared, riding the tracks like a creature prowling in the darkness.
This train was like no else. The whistle sounded once more, and ghostly dark smoke blew from the pipe at the top.
It was indeed, a train made from darkness and shadows. A train that may change Chisa and her friends life forever.
"Ticket, Please."
*Important Notes*
-The shadow train leads into an alternate realm much like earth, however, the people who inhabit this place are shadows/spirits.
-Upon entering the shadow realm, you cannot re-enter the train back to earth unless you find the key.
-All shadow people resemble something specific.
-Staying with shadow people or mingling with them can slowly make you one as well.
-After entering the realm, you must look for a key that unlocks the train door. Without this key, there is no hope of ever returning.
-Shadow people don't have names, but when they shape-shift to humans, they use an alias.
-Some of the shadow people can take forms of regular humans, vampires, or animals, watch out!

Name: Kaito Nakamura
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Bio: Kaito's parents died in an accident 7 years ago. His older brother, Shin, is the one who takes care of him. Even as a kid he had a huge imagination. Ghosts, other dimensions, pirates, romance, you name it. Kaito would always tell stories that he came up with to his parents. His parents, being fiction writers, encouraged his imagination. However, his brother did not. Once their parents died, Shin didn't allow Kaito to say any more of his 'stories' and instead got him to play violin. Kaito loves playing the violin and is one of the few things he is very serious about. Kaito has always been curious about the train tracks, but not as much as the others.
Personality: Kaito is a very loud, bright and happy guy. He is very simple-minded and finds a lot of things to be fascinating. He has a lot of energy... too much actually. He could run around for hours and not get tired. It's practically impossible to make him mad. He's always smiling and forgiving to anyone who does his wrong. Kaito comes off as a careless fool a lot. He does have his sweet moments and hates it when people are sad- especially if it's someone he cares about. He is very protective of the ones he loves. Kaito is very imature sometimes and is always scolded by his older brother. Nobody has ever seen this kid cry or get mad.

Sometimes she has small flashbacks of her past. However it's usually small things like her being in a room (which she thinks was her bedroom) and two people arguing. She doesn't try to know more about her past. She loves anything black and usually comes off as a distant, shady, and dark person, which is one of the reasons people don't usually approach her.
Raven:
What does it resemble?: Secretive like a raven. Also tends to wear black a lot.
Played by: Ran-chan
Name: Alec Morgen
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Bio: Growing up, Alec was always a trickster and was very rarely serious. He loved to read Sci Fi stories and comic books, constantly marveling and wishing that he could be in one of those stories, coming alive as one of the characters and living a seperate life in another world. His mother discouraged the idea of his fantasies, but his father always patted him on the back, urging him to keep dreaming. Because, as his father said, dreams have strange ways of coming alive. When he heard the story of the Shadow Train, he was instantly amused and tagged along with Chisa to go to the train tracks.
Personality: He laughs at a lot, makes inappropriate jokes everynow and then, and often smiles to the point where it's contagious. He wouldn't harm a fly, and often trusts others to easily. He's kind, sweet, although his manners could be better...
Picture:
Played by: Misuto
Alias: Gweneth
Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire
Friend or foe of the humans?: She tends to sway back and forth depending on whether or not she is thirsty.
Backstory/History: Gweneth, unfortunately, doesn't remember any of her past life. Occasionally, she'll see images of bits and pieces of her childhood, but not enough to piece together anything important. Though she tries not to think of her past of the way she died, it constantly weighs in the back of her mind, beckoning her to discover more about herself. Gweneth tends to have a rude nature, which most likely keys back to her past. Because of being a vampire, it's hard for her to stay near humans for a long time. She wants to, sure, but most of them decide to stay away because of her aggressive nature and thirst for blood.
Picture:
Played by: Misuto
Alias: Vincent Duccan
Shape-shifter or Vampire?: Shape-shifter
If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human and a python
Friend or foe to the humans: Foe.
Back story/History: Unlike most shadows, Vincent remembers most of his past. He knows he was human, and that he had a younger sister. While being human, he cared for his sister a lot and often became too overly protective over her. His mother was diagnosed with tuberculosis and unfortunately died when he was a mere nine and his sister only seven. After his mother’s death, he became rude, sharp-tongued, and didn’t care for his sister as much as he should have at the time. His father was at a loss of what to do about Vincent, as he was hanging out with the wrong people and being in the wrong places. His father would strictly tell him to not hang out with those people or to not talk back to him as Vincent did so often, but Vince refused and continued to be rude and argumentative. He took the train to the Shadow Realm one breezy night and hung out with the shadows for too long, thus turning into one himself. Now, with the influence of other shadows, he hates humans, regrets being human, and hates to be near them. He’d much rather do without them in the Shadow Realm.

What does it resemble?: Sneaky like a snake.
Played By: Misuto
Alias: Angelica Mercury
Shape-shifter or vampire?: Shape-shifter
If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human; Rabbit
Friend or foe of the humans?: Foe
Backstory/History: Remarkably, Angelica remembers how she died and what her life as a human was like, but she hates that life and wished it was never there. She recalled the many times she would be hurt in school from insults and terrible comments, and she recalled the time when she was so mad that she took her anger out on her pet rabbit by beating. She ended up killing the rabbit, and she never forgave herself. She remembered when her little brother would scream and cry at her for hurting the rabbit. One day, she went down to the lake, where she boarded the local train. Sadly, the train crashed, and the passengers were all dead, including Angelica. What she saw before she died – was a black rabbit.
She can be very energetic and hyper, and she loves to cause trouble and hurt others. She also whines a lot and asks questions frequently. She also has a hard time staying on task, and she rambles on most of the time. She also is very childish, and loves candy.

(Bye, Misuto-san!
No worries, it wouldn't be fair to the others if we just roleplayed without them in the beggining. I'll certainly try to get on at this time tomorrow. Okay then, goodbye Meo-san! I can't wait to get started! \(^.^)/
Permalink Reply by Meo-Chan on January 12, 2013 at 9:20pm (I'll try as well. I'm going on a skiing trip tomorrow though, so chances are, I'll be on in the morning. ^^ Bye-bye, Ran-Chan! ouo)
Permalink Reply by Meo-Chan on January 13, 2013 at 7:41am (Sorry that we started without you, we were a bit too excited. xD So far, the train has stopped, and the humans are deciding if they are boarding it or not.)
Duuuuuudes...I completely jinxed myself for the second time. -_-
I told Meo on Friday that I wasn't going to get sick...Guess what, I did.
And now, after I told you guys that I was feeling better, I'm flippin' sick again. My fever came back last night. :(
(Well...when I saw that guys had started I was like: "asgadhafgdshfgasjdfghsjdfghsjgajsdhf I hate my damn time and how I can't be here with you guuuuuuys" Then I saw it wasn't that far into it and I was like: "*takes deep breaths* okay....it's all good." XD)
Esther shifted from foot to foot, playing with the small ring on her finger, and bit her lip. She examined the train, unsure that any of this was really real, but it seemed so, so she was quick to believe that it was. But most of them were right, they didn't have tickets. So how were they suppose to ride? She really wanted to go, like some of them did. An adventure would be nice. She didn't have many...and probably everyone else didn't really either.
-
"Come now, don't push them too hard," Destrain said, from behind the Mei at the door of the train. "Clearly they're seriously surprised and confused. Give them a minute or two." He poked his head out so he could see the kids, and Ichirou and Gweneth. "Let the other passengers complain, they're all just grumps anyway." His eyes went from one child to the other. They looked interesting.
(I know...it's short...sorry xD)
Kaito looked at the other two passengers who came to see them. All of them had a sort of strange pressence. The conductor, Ichirou, Gweneth, the two other passengers...Hell, the train itself has a strange pressence. They tilted his head in confusion at Ichirou. "We...have to sacrifice a memory? Is that some sort of riddle or something?" That isn't possible right? Plus, Ichirous smile right then kind of freaked Kaito out. They didn't seem like bad people. Strange, yes, but not bad. Yet again, Kaito hardly ever thinks anyone is a bad person. What would Shin do when Kaito tells him that he saw a train? Probably hit him on the head and scold him for making up unbelievable stories again. Of course he wouldn't believe him. Yet again, who would? He can hardly believe it himself. He felt like he was dreaming.
Mei turned her head back a bit to look at Destrain. "What could possibly be so confusing about a train? As Gweneth said, the choice is simple. " she asked. She moved to the side incase Destrain wanted to get out of the train along with Ichirou and Gweneth. She turned to look at the humans again. It's been a while since she has seen humans up close. There were those who didn't really care much for them. She on the other hand, found them to be interesting. She never knew why. Maybe it was because they were so much different from shadows and vampires, or maybe it's because they were so oblivious to the other worlds around them. "I suppose giving them few minutes to think about it wouldn't be so bad. Considering that this train is obviously not moving anywhere unless they make a decision." There was the good side of her that wanted to tell them not to get in the train because the consequences might come be too much for them to take. Then there was the bad side of her that hopes they do get in the train because she is curious to see if they make it back it back to their own world, that is, if they want to.
Permalink Reply by Meo-Chan on January 14, 2013 at 1:40pm Ichirou-
Ichirou stared intently at the children. "Why would I create a riddle or a joke of this matter!?" He exclaimed, half laughing. "Deals a deal. Give me a memory of yours, and you get to ride on our train. If you chicken out, then run back to your parents as quickly as possible, we can't keep the train here all night. Besides, what would you possibly gain by chickening out? You do want to explore past this boring town, don't you?" Obviously, he was getting impatient. "Well? The clock's ticking, my friends."
Chisa-
"What do we got to lose?" Chisa exclaimed, and turned back to her friends. Carefully whispering as low as she could, in fear that Gweneth might hear her, she said, "Come one guys. We can give up one tiny memory, right? I mean, give up the memory when you failed the math test!" She joked. She stepped forwards towards Ichirou, and cautiously chose a memory to give to him. "Take the memory of mine when I had fallen through the ice and into the water on the unfrozen pond." She said, careful not to give him any important memories. He nodded and told her to enter the train. Carefully, she took a step on the train, and gulped as she did. She looked around. Most of the people on this train were normal humans, but this was quite and odd train. Some of these people were not human. There were a few animals, and globs of dark shadowy matter as well --- Almost as if they were shadows people. As soon as Chisa stepped on the train, she immediately forgot the memory she had given up to Ichirou. It was quite a strange feeling.
Esther followed suit after Chisa, stepping up to Ichirou, carefully and quickly choosing a memory.
"Take the memory of mine, when I had fallen out of a tree and broke my leg," She said, doing her best to make sure it hadn't been that imporant. She didn't recall it ever being. He nodded, letting her go in after Chisa. She furrowed her brow, feeling how she'd forgotten the memory she'd chosen to give Ichirou, and she hated forgetting things, but there wasn't really anything she could do about it. She looked at Chrisa, noticing the way she was looking at the train. She looked around and realized why. Some people on this train looked human...and then others were something entirely different. She shifted from foot to foot, unsure of what to do, where to sit.
-
Destrian stepped aside, as the one of the human girls climbed onto the train, then another. He sighed, leaving Ichirou and Gweneth to what they were doing, and moved past the two girls, and back to his seat.
Permalink Reply by Meo-Chan on January 14, 2013 at 6:50pm Ichirou-
Ichirou turned to the others. "Well?" He said, impatiently. That sadistic grin started to appear on his face when he looked around. It was clear that he had a plan. "Gweneth!" He shouted. "Tell the conductor to pile in the coal, the train will be moving in ten minutes!" Ichirou slyly turned back to the children. "I'll be waiting inside at the door." He said, and bounced back to the tracks where he jumped to the door with one clean leap. He shoot a sly smile at Mei and Destrian, and slid backwards.
Chisa-
Cautiously, Chisa made her way through the train. She found about six empty seats, each one capable of seating two people, and pointed them to Esther. "This okay?" She asked, and sat down quickly before anything else creepy could happen. Chisa blinked and looked around. She made face when she saw that most of the blobs of dark matter were glancing at Esther and her with beady white, circle shaped eyes. Although with a closer look, they had no pupils, just white spheres smack in the middle of their 'faces'. Chisa wasn't even sure if the animals were real. Or were they just an illusion made from the dark matter? Chisa shifted uneasily in her seat, and looked out the window, still watching as the others lingered there, with no decision at the moment.
Destrian did his best not to laugh. He could tell Ichirou had some sort of scheme going on and usually they turned out to be pretty entertaining. The way that Ichirou looked so happy, and full of himself, was the reason Destrian almost laughed. He'd admit that he liked the guy, he was pretty cool for a Shadow being. Although, he wasn't sure if these humans were the best to pry on. He barely remembered being a human, but he knew he had been one at some point. He looked at Ichirou, and smiled, shaking his head slightly.
-
"Uh, yes," Esther said, quickly sitting down beside Chisa. She glanced around, noticing some of the weird, creppy blobs looking her. She opened her, to speak, the closed it. She was going to ask Chisa why they were looking at her, but she figured she wouldn't know any well then she would. She hugged her elbows with her hand, tilting her head, and exmaining other things. She wasn't quite sure whether she was creeped out and scared by all this, or facinated and excited. At least she wasn't alone.
Gweneth listened to the kids give away one of their memories, a bored look clear upon her face. Such little memories that they think won't mean a thing. But, sometimes little memories can mean a lot when they're no longer with you. She shrugged in response to Ichirou's order and made her way into the train. "I don't see why I have to do that," she mumbled and stopped walking when she saw Destrian. "Hey Destrian, do me a favor, will you? Go tell the conductor to pile in the coal?" She tilted her head to the side ever so slightly. "If you do, I'll be sure to do you a favor in the future. I promise."
-
Alec began to think of a useless memory. There were a lot of memories that he could choose from, like when he broke his arm, had the chicken pox, but why not go for something even smaller? He watched as Chisa and Esther walked onto the train, nodded his head to himself, and smiled. "Take the memory of mine when my mom yelled at me for breaking the window," he told Ichirou and walked onto the train, only to feel a slight absence in his memory. He glanced around the train, not exactly sure what to expect. However, he was certain that he did not expect this. Weird things everywhere. Yeah, he certainly didn't expect to see this.
Does anyone know if Cheyenne deleted her account or something? All of her replies for here are gone. o.o
Permalink Reply by Meo-Chan on January 14, 2013 at 7:56pm (She didn't delete her account, that's for sure, she's still on my friends list, and her profile still exists. But that is weird. All her traces off being on this RP are gone. It doesn't even say she posted anything here in her latest activity. o.O)
Chisa-
Chisa shook her head and tilted it sideways. She didn't want to look out the window anymore. She shivered as the cool evening breeze made its way from the outside, through the open train door, and to her seat. She then saw that Alec had sacrificed a memory and was entering the train. She waved him over, and took a small glimpse out the window. Kaito was the only one left.
Ichirou-
Ichirou grinned as the boy named Alec sacrificed his memory. "Good choice." He simply said, and stared at the last kid remaining. He gave him a few more minutes to think and turned back to the others. Ichirou noticed Gweneth dropping her orders on Destrian. "Pfft, typical Gweneth." He murmured. He made an amused purring sound, and gave a nod and a cheesy smile to the humans who had boarded the train.
