  1. Why did you read the Twilight saga books?

    a) because I liked the movie

d)other reason:I was  completely intrigued/engrossed by Pattinson/stewart's acting and wanted to compare their artist interpretation of the actual literary characters. For me, they breathed tangible life into the abstract literary soul of Edward/Bella. They understood the complexity of their characters' psyche/personalities and then took it to the next level of comprehension. I believe, either people 'got it' of they didn't appreciate what they both were trying to acheive with Twilight. They took the core of the story and their characters, and made it serious, deep & meaningful. I respect the genius of it all....and I appreciate their artistic vision...

  2. When did you read the Twilight saga books (what year)? 2009

  3. What do you like about the Twilight saga book series? Innovative and completely honest writing style. The repackaging of the Vampire and remodeling all the "vampire" stereotypes/lore. Meyer is an artist...simply because she is courageous and follows her instincts despite the contradictions/criticisms she inherited by fulfilling/acting out her dreams. Every great artist, writer, poet, inventor always puts their neck out...takes risks and follows their heart/internal compass despite the worldly obstacles that comes with being a innovative/progressive thinker.

  4. What do you dislike about the Twilight saga book series? I wanted a little more tangible "intimacy" and thought expansion between Edward/Bella. I wanted to physically feel what it's like to be a vampire in love with a Human and a human in love with a vampire. Meyer left more to the reader's imagination, which is always good to personalize your feelings/reactions to a story....however, sometimes it fun to be "told" exactly what the characters think and feel.

  5. Which is your favorite character in the Twilight saga book series? Edward and Carlisle and parts of Bella's persona/thought processes. Yet, I find all  Twilight the characters agreeable, indentifiable and complex.

  6. On a scale of 1 to 10 , how much do you like the Twilight saga book series? 10...

  7. I've never read books with content/values like the Twilight saga. They are in a class of their own. Good writing is not necessarily about proper punctuation, grammar, spelling ect., it's about provoking a feeling and connection with the reader. I think Meyer has a unique style of writing that connects you inside her mind....feel what she feels....comfortable in her  literary character's experiences/shoes. Some people are good at making others understand/empathize with the human condition(or not)/heart....and Meyer has that Gift through her unique writing style.
