Permalink Reply by Claire on July 12, 2012 at 5:25pm Finished it yesterday! :D I really enjoyed it. I didn't think it was amazingly well-written or anything, but the characters and story were really good. And there's a sequel too, which I bought today! So, yeah, I'd recommend giving it a read. Tris is an awesome protagonist, and I love Four. :)

I've only read one of the short stories but I really loved it.
It's too early to tell.
I've heard many good things about it, and my mom had a copy.
Permalink Reply by Buffy on July 13, 2012 at 2:26am I'm being stingy and not buying any new books for now. I recently read Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost. It's the first book in Vlad's series. I...REALLY liked it and highly recommend it. It's a spin off of her Night Huntress series and I had been looking forward to reading a book on Vlad for a while now. It definitely didn't disappoint.
I'm now re-reading Vampire Academy, which I've only read once, but it definitely deserves to be re-read.
For those of you who haven't read it, yes, it's definitely worth picking up. It's a finished series so you don't have to go through the angst of waiting around for the next book to come out.
Permalink Reply by Leanne L on July 16, 2012 at 10:45pm Just finished the second of Game of Thrones...The Clash of Kings....it seemed to jump around more than the first book and turned out to be a much longer read than I anticipated. it was still good but you had to have patience to read it. I was into one thread of the story on a certain character then he jumps to the next character thread and you don't pick up the next thread of the last character for something like ten chapters....like I said...you need patience to read it. I have the next book to read but I'm starting on "Lover Reborn" now just to take a break from it...Black Dagger Brotherhood never dissappoints....after that, I have "City of Lost Souls" to read too.
Permalink Reply by ╰☆╮Brandy Hill╰☆╮ on July 17, 2012 at 10:48am The series rocks! The first one gets kinda repetitive with the sex. There isn't a whole lot of story behind it. But the 2nd and 3rd really bloom into something.
Permalink Reply by ╰☆╮Brandy Hill╰☆╮ on July 18, 2012 at 11:05pm I agree. Stick with it though. The author gets much more tasteful/subtle in the 2nd two books. You also discover a lot more about Christian, which I loved because I really liked him. I'm about halfway through my third re-read. I just kinda skip the sex now lol.
Permalink Reply by ╰☆╮Brandy Hill╰☆╮ on July 19, 2012 at 5:10pm He's so bad! lol. You will looove him in the 2nd one then. He's like a dream guy.
Permalink Reply by Claire on July 19, 2012 at 3:37pm I finished 'Insurgent', the sequel to 'Divergent', and I think I have a new obsession. But the third and final book isn't released til mid/late 2013. :(
I also just completed 'The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists' and it was BRILLIANT. ;D
