Permalink Reply by Vivian on August 21, 2012 at 9:47pm I'm reading "The Mane Event" by Shelly Laurenston. It's a fantasy/romance series. The Heros are shapeshifters such as human to lion or human to wolf. They are all alpha males, jealous and possessive and protective. Love these type heros.
Permalink Reply by Albino Mosquito: Kung Fu Girl on August 25, 2012 at 9:16am I just picked up a 25th Anniversary edition of Terry Brooks' The Sword of Shannara trilogy and am already nearly 200 pages into it :3 I'll probably pound out another 100 or so pages today. I really wanted to pick up his new book, but my OCD is telling me I need to read the rest of the Shannara books before I start any new ones :p
Permalink Reply by Jacen Caedus on August 27, 2012 at 10:43pm I share that affliction: being unable to read something else by the same author until I have finished a series of theirs I have begun reading.
Permalink Reply by Navdha on August 28, 2012 at 11:06am Enshadowed by Kelly Creagh. The second book in the Nevermore trilogy. I really hope it's good cause I've been waiting for it for quite some time now.
After that I have Unwholly by Neal Shusterman and Defiance by C.J Redwine to read.
I also have to finish the Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa because I'm really excited to read the spin-off, The Lost Prince which is Ethan's side of story. 2 more books to go still. :/
Permalink Reply by Leanne L on August 29, 2012 at 7:33pm I just finished "City of Lost Souls" loved the series so far can't wait for the next one to come out! I think I'll read the "Clockwork Angel" and "the Clockwork Prince" again...I really liked those stories!
Permalink Reply by Navdha on August 31, 2012 at 4:35am I finished Unwholly by Neal Shusterman last night and DUDE! Mind=blown. My emotions can't be put into words. Recommended for fans of dystopian. Even if you're not a fan, give it a try. Unwind is the first book, this is the second. You won't regret the decision.
Permalink Reply by Buffy on September 2, 2012 at 2:35am I'm currently reading Golden Lily by Richelle Mead. It's Book#2 to Bloodlines. I started reading it last night and I'm like...60% done with the book. I like it.
Permalink Reply by enjoyingmylife on September 2, 2012 at 7:46pm just finished The Palin Truth by Jodi Picoult
very good read, and had a surprise twist at the end ( which I'm told is very typical from this author)
nice to read a book that wasn't part of a series, let alone one that wasn't finished...
Permalink Reply by DanielleMarie.ϟ on September 5, 2012 at 12:49am I am reading The Great Gatsby for the first time.
Permalink Reply by Buffy on September 11, 2012 at 9:51am I'm re-reading the Hex Hall series. I absolutely love it and definitely recommend it. I'm surprised that it's not as popular as it deserves to be.
I'm also reading "Last Breath" which is the 11th book in the Morganville vampires series. I used to love this series, but the last few books have been a disappointment. Some authors just need to take a class on learning "When to stop writing a series." 15 books in a series? REALLY? After quite a long time, I've decided to continue reading and this book isn't that bad...so far.
