I've been drowning in the Mortal Instruments books for the past few days. I have finished the first two in the series (City of Bones and City of Ashes) and I started City of Glass last night.

I'm pleasantly surprised about these books, because even though I had them on my "to-read" list for a long time, I was not very crazy about reading them for some reason. I think that a review I had read somewhere about them just put me off them. What a big mistake that was. It goes to show that we all like different things and we really shouldn't be influenced by other people's opinions.

I would definitely recommend it. It's got everything: amazing plot with twists that make you go: WOW!, action, demons/vamps/werewolves/fairies/angels, romance, amazing characters *coughs* especially the hot-shadowhunters *coughs*, a bad dude that reminds me of a combination of Voldemort/Hitler and cliffhangers that will make you want to pick up the next book immediately, if not sooner.

I read somewhere that if you're a fan of Harry Potter/Star Wars then go freaking read these books. By the way, these are going to be movies, for those of you who are interested.

I have just read Hush, Hush.

It is actually a very interesting story. I would recommend it, as I am about to start the sequel, because it is very good.

I just ordered it from a book order that I got from my English teacher. It is at a pretty basic reading level but its plot makes up for it.

I liked it. There were things that bothered me with it, but I enjoyed the first one. The second one was a bit of a disappointment. Nevertheless, I'll read the next one (Tempest) when it comes out.

You should read Fallen by Lauren Kate. Same concept (fallen angels), but fantastic plot and characters.

I agree. :D

"Dry" by Augusten Burroughs.

I find it hilarious, and a bit sad. But mostly hilarious.

Yes.

My mother bought it, and a few of his other books. I'm slowly picking my way through them (first up was "Running With Scissors", which was about his incredibly messed up childhood).

Running With Scissors is pretty amazing.

I've been back. ^_^

I just haven't been posting a lot.

(Ow, that really hurt.) :D

I'm reading 13 reasons why by Jay Asher and its AMAZING! I would definitely recommend it to people. And my bff let me borrow it.

I've started reading Archangel's Consort. It's the third in the series. I'm not sure if it's going to be the last. I'm about 60 something pages into it and I'm liking it. I think Nalini Singh is an awesome writer. I really like this series.

I would definitely recommend it to adult paranormal romance series lovers.

I got my copy today!!!!
Woohoo! Are you finished with City of Glass yet?
Nope. I'm up to the bit where someone and someone have gone to someones house that had burnt down. And someone kissed someone and it was icky. You get me?
