"I saw her first?"

'At least I talked to her when I met her?"

"At least I actually gave her the once over and not dismissed her because I couldn't read her mind?"

Er... to be fair, he was the second.

"Bella and Edward. I'm so *coughs* happy for you two. I mean you seem happy Bella. And that's the only thing that matters I guess. I wish you two have a long and happy life. So um that's it.."

Awkward Jake right? :P

Yeah, jake would have been very awkward and sad to see Bella out of his hands. But I doubt he would have siad I wish you two havea long and happy life because he hates Edward.

I think his emotions would be too mixed up to have a clear head to say anything. He would be super angry that the date of her changing was so close. He would be sad because he knows that she didn't choose him. He would be conflicted because he doesn't know if he should keep fighting for Bella until her heart stops beating, or if he should just never talk to her again. But he loves her, so he wouldn't know what to do.

So. I think he would either be too shaken up to say anything and just sit down, or he would say something he didn't mean, like "Good luck." or "Have a nice life."

If he was smart he would have said: "I love you and wish you every joy."
