The Twilight Saga

I was watching Eclipse, which is my favorite movie out of the saga, and I was listening to Jacob as he explained imprinting and I was wondering why he never imprinted on her. He's a werewolf and he imprinted on Renessme quickly in Breaking Dawn so what do you think was holding him back? Was it because Edward and Bella's love is unbreakable? Edward said that if she chose Jacob than he would let her go. What do you guys think about that?

He didn't imprint on Bella because Meyers didn't want him to.  Imprinting is really a writing tool to create drama and to make whatever you want happen to the character.  So there is no real "reason" that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee and no real "reason" he didn't imprint on Bella.

Yes that makes sense

This.

thats natural and it's somewhere gud he didn't imprint on bella

Jacob couldn't control who he imprints on. He probably really wanted to imprint on Bella but i guess, as what was previouslt mentioned Meyers didn't want him to.

Yes, in Eclipse Jacob tries to get himself to imprint on Bella, but it is not something that Jacob can control or "make" happen.

he was seeing renessme through bellas eyes even before she was even thought of when he starts to imprint on renessme watch what he sees he has already seen them with bella thats why hes confused over his feelings over bella he says it in breaking dawn part 2

O.o

Jacob clearly described how imprinting is not a choice; it's a mystical, inexplicable compulsion.

He did not choose to imprint on Renesmee, just as none of his packmates chose who they imprinted upon either. In fact, when Leah was first introduced, this concept was paramount in her life.

In breaking Dawn when Bella was pregnant Nessie Jake felt a pull, he was not sure why, but when Nessie was born he Imprinted on her as she was meant for him, in a way Bella was not meant to be. He was always meant to imprint on Nessie and not Bella

He never imprinted on her because he already loved her with his heart and they weren't meant to b together
