Go on Steph's website and she'll tell you everything
as you can see MS is on hold for quite some time and she is planing to continue it, for now, so just be patient and see what Steph will do :)

I read on Stephanie's website that she would work on it in her spare time and whenever she could but she said it would take awhile and to be patient. I'm with u though, I CAN'T WAIT 4 MS TO COME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I leave this note in the hope that someone on Stephenie Meyer's staff will add my vote for her to finish & publish MS. I pray she will do this before the enthusiasm  ebbs.

this is off her site.. but this has been 2 1/2 yrs ago...

 

June 2008 Update: In response to the outrageous number of emails that I have received with questions concerning Midnight Sun, I talked to Stephenie this weekend and she asked me to let everyone know that Midnight Sun is her next project. She has not yet finished writing it (and there is no timeline set up, so we all need to put a lot of effort into being patient for a while longer), but she is definitely still planning on having it published. And, after Breaking Dawn comes out, Stephenie will have much more time to focus on writing Midnight Sun.

Well she is currently focusing on the Breaking Dawn movies and she cant write with all the pressure from the movies so she doesnt have time to write.. but thats nothing new..
