Edward, who found true love with Bella, who held unconditional love for Edward --despite his "background," is one of the most beautiful and powerful aspects of Twilight! Bella and Edward understood Edward's dangerous vampire nature; and, with loving determination, Edward and Bella discovered a Heaven on Earth with each other. We adore this potentially impossible love transformed into Bella and Edward's living reality!

However, if Stephenie only wrote to include, for now, that incredible MEADOW scene chapter which started it all ---I think the fans would be content with only that addition until the remainder of the book could be completed the way Stephenie wants! If real life ever prevented Midnight Sun's completion, then at the very least, Edward's POV of that MEADOW scene might feel like a "finish"to the book; plus, the fans would always have Twilight (Bella's POV) to unite the two POVs!! Otherwise, Midnight Sun would forever remain so unfinished and I'm not sure if another writer within Hatchette Books is capable of maintaining the style and our interest.
