I just can't understand why alices dad had her mom killed and then tried to have her killed! then to top it off they sent her to a crazy house whats up with that.

Well if Stephanie Meyers makes a prequel novella in Alice's pov then we should find the answer.

alice didnt even know until she went to talk to her father after her mom was ran off the road. read the offical guide and will know how her dad tried to kill her how she met the vampire who changed her at a crazy house two countrys away.
