Would you have cut the "other passionate kissing scene" out of "Twilight?"

When Melissa Rosenberg adapted "Twilight" for the screen, she envisioned two possible scenarios for "Edward's first bedroom visitation" scene.

In her first scenario (shown above) Melissa has Bella soundly asleep, and while in a dream state, Bella thinks she awakes, turns on a light, sees Edward standing next to her, and she instinctively throws herself into his arms. She then pulls him into her bed where they passionately continue their kissing et all.

(all of this of course occurs in a frequently used movie contrivance, refereed to a "dream sequence")

Then Melissa has the scene's action continue, with Bella awakening from her dream, turning on her light, and momentarily thinking she sees Edward, he "instantaneously" disappears. And Bella shakes her head in disbelief that, she had really seen him, and goes back to sleep.


NOW IN THE SECOND VERSION OF MELISSA'S INTERPRETATION OF THE EVENT, THE ONE WHICH WAS EVENTUALLY CHOSEN FOR THE MOVIE

Melissa leaves the dream sequence, and the passionate kissing et all, out of the scene entirely.

Melissa has this scene only consists of Bella awakening, thinking she might have seen Edward, shaking her head in disbelief and going back to sleep.

Had YOU been the one who made the final, "directors cut" for "Twilight", would you have included the more passionate dream kissing sequence, or would you have left that portion out. and gone with the version which was eventually chosen.
