Chapter 1

Jade's POV

Everyone excitedly ran out of the ship. I looked around. Almost everything was covered with trees, leaving the center empty. I quickly cutted down all the trees near the edge of the water and left the ones furthest from the water untouched. I found out we were on a hill. The clearing was big enough for all of us. Once all the trees were on the ground, I shifted them on one side. Alice found out what I was doing and helped me.

It was almost hilarious to see a pixie-like figure carrying the woods. I stifled a laugh. I laid the woods on the corner where the trees that were still standing up were. When I dropped them down, I quickly shedded the rough edges and tried to make a bench out of it. Alice and I kept repeating the routine of carrying the trees and sheeding the rough edges and making more furnitures like tables, sofas and beds for humans. The men carried the furnitures and moved them to the right places. Esme told them where to put the things.

When we had enough furnitures, we moved on. I built some cabins and Alice built the fences around the clearing. I built the cabins large enough to put the furnitures in. The humans helped by collecting the unused wood and making a fire as it was already about to be dark. I built cabins in each sides of the clearing. The left for wolves and the right for vampires. Each side was cutted into half. One half is for couples, the other for singles. The singles would have two cabins, Girls and Boys. The singles would have to share the cabin. The couples, in the other hand, has their own cabins and would share only with their mate. The humans' cabins were on the left, together with the wolves.

When I was done building the cabins, I took some wood and started scratching out labels for their names. After that, I placed it on top of the cabins. Alice overdid things - again - by building a dressing room herself. I started building more by building a canteen for humans and wolves and 'eating place' for vampires. It was at sunset when we finished. I looked at my watch. Wow, I finished everything by half an hour.

After everything was built, Esme and Emily started walking towards the canteen to cook. Some went to their cabins and the others just sat down around the campfire. Around the campfire, there were 4 long sofas about 5 feet long, all in each sides. And it looked more like a square than a circle. The left side was for werewolves. The right for vampires. The top was for humans and the bottom for half-breeds. There were no labels that made it that way but, it was automatically like that. I sat at the bottom side of the square. The others that were in the campfire was Edward, Alice, Jared, Ericha, Afton and Amiolet.

Afton played with the fire, increasing and decreasing it. Edward just stared at nowhere. Ericha kept shifting her features and fooling with Jared and Alice. Jared played with his watch. I just layed down on the sofa and stared at the stars.

"You know, once, my wish was to stare at the stars for hours and hours. Maybe days. But, I was always busy. Now, my wish was granted." I said in awe. I felt Edward looking at me.

"Why is that so?" Edward asked as he tilted his head.

"Because everytime I look at the stars, something will disturb me. Like, lamplights, helicopters and most of all, Jared!" I said without looking at him. I heard Edward chuckle and he looked at Jared.

"Stars are amazing. The create shapes that isn't there. Shapes only you could see. Sometimes, I kept wondering; How many hours would a scientist take to see a constellation? It's all so complicating and when you turn your head the other way, it becomes a different shape!" I babbled on. I suddenly sat up right.

"You know, I didn't actually think that our first day would be this boring" Jared mumbled. I took a rock and knocked it at his head.

"Borung, huh?" I teased. He glared at me, then, smiled menacingly.

"Okay.. Hey, Jade. Want a brother-sister fight? It would keep me interested!" He said sarcastically.

I stood up from the sofa and walked right across from him. "Fine then! It'll keep everyone entertained!" I shouted. Alice, who was still staring into space, smiled brightly. Edward's eyes lit up.

"Okay. Rule one is - " Jared said.

"No! No rules!!" I interrupted.

He smiled. He took a piece of wood - that was very sharp at the point - and threw it to me. I used my watch to hurriedly stop it. I used my favourite power: time traveling. I paused the time, twisted the wood, and 'played' it again. I laughed as the wood hitted Jared.

He used the black flame and threw a flame at me. I paused it again and stepped to the left. I played it again. The flame missed. "My turn." I muttered before I paused time and ran towards Jared. I played it again and took Jared's head and smashed it to the left. Jared took my hand, which was on each side of his face, and pushed me forward, making me stumble. I used Kate's power to electrify him. He let go of my hand. He was still on the ground.

With a quick movement, I activated the disappearing power, so that he couldn't see me. As he stood up, he looked around, trying to find me. As his eyes traveled to me, I punched his face and he fell to the ground again. I appeared again. Jared held my ankle tightly and moved it to the left. I fell on the floor with a loud thud. He electrified, burnt, cooled and used lots of other powers as I writhe in pain. He swung my ankle around and around and finally let go. I landed on the floor with ease. I turned behind, only to see Jared running towards me. Before it was too late, I paused it again. Jared froze, halfway running towards me.

I used my ice powers to freeze him in place. It became solid ice and became thicker and thicker. I smiled evilly at him as he was still frozen, helpless. When it was enough, I stopped and looked at him. I giggled as I played it.

"I win!" I said sweetly. Jared's eye roamed around but, he couldn't move as the ice was too thick. I turned to my audience. It had grown as we battled. Some of them stil watched, not knowing what to say. The others clapped. I bowed down. Then, I turned to Jared and kicked the ice apart, hitting Jared in the stomach in the prosses.

"Alright, alright!! You win!" Jared said as he rubbed his stomach.

"Aww, Jade! You could have done a nice ice sculpture over there!" Emmet whined. I laughed.

"Don't worry. Besides, I need my brother. I could do another one, without him inside it." I said and chuckled.

Paul shook his head and muttered, "Wow! I can't believe all of this is real!"

"Neither could I." Said Jared, as he walked pass Paul.

"Well, I'm going to sleep now. Any of the vampires want to sleep?" I asked. They looked at me, confused.

"Remember the time when I changed Rosalie into a human? Well, I could turn you into a human for the rest of the night so all of you could sleep. But, as soon as you wake up, you turn back into a vampire." I explained.

"I want to change!! But, if we turn back, is it going to hurt, like last time?" Tanya asked nervously.

I shook my head, "I may not change you.. But, I have a sleep charm. I could make you sleep while still being a vampire. The process of changing from vampire to human may hurt a bit."

"Well, I've always wanted to sleep. So, I'll go with the sleep charm." Amun said.

"But, what if someone invaded us while sleeping. What if something happened during the night?" Carlsile asked.

"Jared would take care of that. He will put up a shield on and make this whole clearing, like, disappear so, if someone accidently came here, they wouldn't see anything. Only plain land." I explained, "You would do that, right, Jared?" I looked at Jared with the look that says, 'do it or else!!'.

Jared saw the look and nodded nervously. Hmm, I guess he learned his lesson not to mess with me. I think that fight was worth winning for after all! I stood up and stretched.

"I'll be putting the sleep charm to everyone so that , if someone is uncomfortable, they would be able to sleep well tonight. Well, goodnight everyone. By the way, you could stay up as long as you want to. The sleep charm will work if you already want to sleep." I said as I walked towards my cabin at the 'Vampires: Single'. It looks more of a dormitory than a cabin as it has lots of beds inside it. Every cabin and dormitory has a bed, tables, chairs, a mini toilet, mini fridge and a mirror.

The dormitories have more than 10 double beds so, it could fit in 20 people. The dormitories also has 4 waist-high tables, which is at the left side of the dormitory. Beside the tables was a mini fridge. On the way right was the beds. The toilet was the opposite of the entrance. The mirror was just beside the door. Like at the ship, every cabin and room has a candle. And the candles were placed at the side of each bed. All the candles were opened here.

I climbed to my bed and blowed my candle. I snuggled in my bed, my blankets at my neck, and closed my eyes. I quickly drifetd off to sleep.

Chapter 2

Edward's POV

I woke up from my deep sleep and strecthed my arms wide. I looked at my Bella beside me. She was smiling while still sleeping. I gracefully climbed out of the bed and walked out of the cabin. Outside, the fire was already put out. Around the camp fire was Jade and Amiolet. I yawned.

"Had a nice sleep?" Jade asked. I nodded.

"I hadn't had sleep in years - literally." I said. Jade laughed. I looked around.

"So, who else is awake?" I asked. Amiolet shrugged.

"Hmm, Emily, some of the children, Paul, Jard and Ericha." Jade said.

"I guess the vampires are going to be late." Amiolt said and smirked.

"What time is it, Jade? Oh, and, if you're free, could you make a clock? So that we don't have to ask you every time?" I suggested.

"It's 10 in the morning. Sure. Anyway, with freedom like this, who isn't free?" Jade said and stood up. She ran to the 'eating place'. I followed her. Somehow, I felt guilty for drinking that mountain lion's blood at the ship.

"So...what are you doing here?" I asked tentatively.

"I'm going to experiment with the animals. You know, make them reproduce so the animal population increases. " Jade said as she looked at the animals, her back towards me.

"How are you going to do that?" I asked, I've never done any experiments with animals. This should be interesting to watch.

"I'm going to find out which gender they are. Then, I mix the genders. I've never done this without...quenching my thirst. It's going to be hard for me to restrain it." Jade said as she took a lioness and looked around again.

" I was actually surprised at how you could restrain yourself. How many days could you go on without quenching your thirst while surrounded by humans?" I asked.

"It was quite hard at the beggining. But, my love for animals are more powerful than the monster inside me. " She turned to face me, her hand on the lioness' neck, and smiled at it. "As you could see, I'm an animal lover ever since I was born. Most of the time, I don't eat. I eat different things. Human food, leaves in the jungle, all those things.

"The real color of my eye should be bright green if not for the power Erick gave me. I found out how vampire eyes change. They change by what we eat. Black, if hungry. Red, if human blood, like the Volturi. Purple, if you're a vampire eating human food, like Amiolet. Green, if leaves, like me and Jared. Gold, if animals, like your coven. Some others tries to go against their own natures, not just your coven and mine. There some strange ones who eats furnitures."

She looked at me, and her eyes were different. They were bright green now. Like an emerald, like jade. I smiled at the resemblance of her name and eye. "When I was human, green was my normal eye color. That's how I got my name. My mother named me after my eye. She always told me that I was her precious Jade." She was now staring into space while holding the lioness.

Then, she snapped out of it. "Anyway, as you grow 'older', your vampire mind becomes more faster and spacious. But, I always wondered... Why are vampires immortal, fast, smart and strong? And why do vampires drink human blood? If the monster inside all of us broke loose, humans will turn into vampires, or maybe die. And what will happen if everyone in the whole world is a vampire? Where will we get our 'meal' now? Animals? What if all the animals become extinct?

Then, we will have no more...resources. No more 'meal'. But, no one has ever heard of a vampire starved to death. So, how will we know what will happen in the future? We may have survived this round. But, who knows what will happen?" She shrugged. She was really wise. But, of course, she's 9 million years old. She must have experienced lots of things.

She climbed on top of the lioness. Wait, is she going to ride a lioness? I tilted my head. She srtoked the back of the lioness and it rumbled in response. "You could take the lion if you want. I'm going to have a ride, wanna come?" She asked. I shook my head, "I'm not sure. I'm not an animal lover like you. And that lioness might freak out if I climbed on its back."

She whispered something to the lioness and it bowed its head down in response. Of course, she had controlled the lioness into doing it. I climbed on its back behind Jade. "Well, let's take someone else for a ride." Jade mumbled. She held on to the neck of the lioness and the lioness started running. It jumped up of the fence and we headed towards the clearing. Lots of people were awake now. They stared at us in amazement.

Emmet clearly wanted a ride. He was about to climb in when Jade said, "Emmet, you could get a ride in the bear or something. You're too heavy for the little lioness. Ride on the elephant or lion or bear out there. Just... don't bite it. It will lose control."

"Really? I could ride on it?!" Emmet said, excited. His eyes were wide with excitement. His grin was so big it reached his ears.

"Yeah sure, sure. Anyone could get a ride. I got them on complete control. Bella, wanna come? The children could ride on the horses." Jade said. Bella climbed in. The rest excitedly ran to the 'eating place' that now looks like a barn. The children were squealing with excitement. EJ ran after Bella and he climbed behind me. Bella was behind EJ.

"Hold on. I don't want any injuries." Jade said and we were off. We went out of the clearing and into the trees. The lioness was fast, but, not as fast as vampires. Still, it was exhilirating. Then, Emmet came out of nowhere. He was climbing on a bear. He waved at us happily. Rosalie was with her twin kids on a white horse. She looked excited. Well, ever since the pregnancy, Rosalie was always happy.

Alice came in a kangaroo, with her twin children. Soon, everyone was here riding in different animals. The wolves were riding the elephant. They were shouting, all of them happy. "Hmm, I guess we have a different mode of transportation now." Bella mumbled. I looked behind and chuckled. The rest of the day, we went around and around the land, playing catch while riding the animals. Suddennly, the sun rose up and made glittering effects on our skin. Everyone was smiling happily, enjoying the time.

But, Amiolet's words echoed through my mind; "Life is like field. There will be sunlight everyday for the seeds planted for us to grow. But, we won't grow unless there is rain, unless there is darkness. If there is too much sunlight, the seeds will wilt. If there is too much rain, the seeds in that field will drown.

Life has happiness and darkness. But, it has to be balanced. When there is too much happiness, darkness will invade us. But, of course, there is always light behind those dark clouds - those darkness - that seemed to invade us."


But, for now, let's enjoy life.. Jade thought. She has the mental shield Bella has. But, she could control what she wanted to think. She could open and close her shield anytime she wants. I sighed. No point being sad now. Happiness was all around me. Either because of Jasper or Ashlyn, Jasper and Alice's daughter who could affect the whole place with her emotions.

We went back to the clearing after the rides. After we putted every animal to their right places, we went back to the campfire, Alice was sitting at the bench, her eyes far away. That was when I saw her vision...

A small girl with long hair that looks like 12 years old was walking towards our clearing. She was coughing. Her eyes were deep dark brown. Her clothes were tattered. She fainted near the trees.

And then, another one.. The small girl was sitting with us at the campfire. She was staring at Emmanuel with longing eyes. Emmanuel was stealing glances to Amiolet. And then, another one..

Amiolet was staring at Emmanuel, her eyes wide with fear and anger. What had happened? Emmanuel looked as though he was...sorry? They were at the near edge of the water. Amiolet started weeping, tears running down to her cheeks. Emmanuel started to walk towards her and Amiolet stepped back. Then, she stepped too far and she fell down to the water... I gasped.

I looked around. Jade and Jared was also staring into space like us. And so was Kathlyn, the permanent future reader. Then, they snapped out of it. All of us looked at each other, then, looked at Amiolet, who was walking around peacefully. Will it come to an end to her by falling off a cliff? And, what was those visions about? Amiolet looked back at us, confused as to why we were staring at her in fear.

"What was it?" Emmanuel asked and sat down.

"A new girl would be coming. She looks small and looks like a 12 year old. She has long hair and brown eyes. She wears tattered clothes. She would be coming... at dawn, tomorrow. And, she would be joining us." I said before anyone could say anything.

Why not tell Amiolet? She could take precautions if we told her! Alice panicked as she thought of the vision again.

She couldn't, Alice. What would you feel if someone said you're going to die the next day?! Jade thought back to her.

I'd like to prepare! So that that future wouldn't happen! Alice thought back. I stared back, amazed. They were panicking in their minds while keeping a calmed face.

But, I saw it, Alice! And I only see permanentvisions! It means, that will happen, no matter what! Kathlyn thought and Jade sent the thought to Alice, like a network.

Alice sighed softly. I know.. I just don't want her to die. She had helped us, too. But, what was it between Emmanuel and Amiolet? What's their connection?.. And Alice began to wander off. Jade stared at Emmanuel hardly. Then, she blinked her eyes and looked at me.

I know what's the connection. Emmanuel was Amiolet's boyfriend when she was human. When she was changed , she came back to him. She wanted to change Emmanuel so that they could be together forever. But, she didn't. She just left. What Amiolet didn't know was that... Emmanuel was already a vampire when she met him! Her human name is Amy. She changed her name when she was changed into a vampire. Her best friend's name is Violet.

Violet was Emmanuel's girlfriend, before Amiolet. Violet and Amiolet were best of friends. When she found out that Violet's bofriend was her 'crush', she suddenly disappeared, according to Emmanuel. Both of them thought that the other was dead. And... I'm thinking that the small girl with long brown hair.. is Violet! Both of them doesn't know what Violet is but, I'm thinking Violet is an immortal. It's a lot like vampires but, they don't bite. The only disadvantage of an immortal is that.. you can't fall in love. If an immortal found their soulmate, the immortal will die.

Emmanuel and Violet were together for some time. After 5 years, they broke up. Then, Emmanuel met my coven and so, here we are! Jade thought. Jade's thoughts were always interesting.

Hmm, I guess we have some reunion tomorrow I thought. She heard me and nodded slightly.

And tragedy.. She thought quietly.

Hey guys!! Im sorry I hadnt written for 4 days!! I got writer's block! Anyway, while I was passing the time, I drew a picture of how the Clearing looks like! I cant find a pciture thats related to it so... I drew one myself! My drawing skills isnt that good but, at least it'll get u an idea of what it looks like!! I'll post it here soon!! If only I could find my camera....

Hey everyone!! Im VERY sorry if I hadnt been posting regularly but I will be posting every Friday from now on! Thats my New Years Resolution!! XD Anyway, Im writing the story rite now!

Chapter 3: Part 1

[A/N: I'll be swtiching the POV's for this chapter so that you know what each and every one of them is thinking!]

Edward's POV

After the silent conversation between Jade and I, we became worried. Alice was pacing up and down and pulling out her hair. Jasper and Ashlyn tried to cheer her up but, Ashlyn kept feeling worried, which didn't help anyone at all. The wolves went back to their cabins after their dinner. Rosalie and her twin daughters went back to their cabins to sleep. Emmet joined them. The others started going back to their cabins.

"Edward, do you want to sleep?" Bella asked me, EJ in her arms, asleep. Before I could answer, I felt something in my mind, forcing me to be awake, forcing me not to sleep, although I reall want to. I shook my head. Bella and EJ went back to out cabin. Jasper asked Alice but she shook her head, too.

Soon, there was only Me, Alice, Jade, Kathlyn and Jared. I looked at Jade. Her eyes were closed and she didn't move an inch. Then, she slowly smiled and opened her eyes.

"The coast is clear! Everyone is alseep." She said.

"So, you made us say no on purpose?" Alice asked in disbelief. She nodded.

"Look, we have some serious problems." Kathlyn whispered. I tilted my head in confusion.

"There will be more coming here, more than just Violet." She continued.

"Who else?" I asked.

Kathlyn smiled at me that says, 'you're smart enough to know that.'

"The human-meeting-vampire problem is coming soon. About three days or so. We have to decide. I can't get a vision unless it's permanent. That's why we need Alice." Kathlyn explained. I frowned. I've never really thought of showing ourselves to humans. We may not know what kind of weapons they have. I've met the arrogant kind of humans, the kind that thinks they are powerful, the kind that thinks they are at the top of everything.

"I'm getting a vision. Someone decided not to show up to the humans. In the end, a human small girl will find out about this clearing and tell the others. They'll try to kill us if we don't show up to them!" Alice said. I looked around nervously.

"Don't worry, Edward! With me, Jared and Chelsea, we could have a stronger physical shield that not even the strongest guns in the whole wide world could defeat!" Jade exclaimed. That wasn't what I was worried about.

"I'm not worried about those. Even our skin is as invincible. I'm just afraid… that they'll try to experiment us. I'm afraid that they will think they're 'better' than us and try to rule 'our vampirism world'! I don't want another arrogant ruler like Aro. I just want everyone to be... equal. Like what all of us are now. There's no leader, no poor, no rich! But, I'm afraid that they'll change everything and everything would be the same as it was! We finally had a chance to change this world." I mumbled.

Jade nodded. "You have a point. I, too, want everyone to be equel. And I don't want a leader like Aro, too."

Jared smiled and said, "Hey! I could control their mind and force them to say 'I want everyone to be equel'! Isn't that smart?"

Jade shook her head. Kathlyn just ignored him. I guess Jared is a lot like Emmet, suggesting things that aren’t really possible.
Jared looked at Jade, asking her what was wrong with his opinion.

"Then, after he said that, what would you do? Control him for the rest of his life? Just because of that simple sentence?" Jade said.

"Ouh…" Jared said, understanding. I pulled my hair. There was just too much to consider. This problem and Emmanuel and Amiolet's love problem. And until now, we can't figure out anything to solve in any of those problems.

Jade sighed. "I've never been this helpless!!" She shouted as she lay down on the sofa. "Me too." I muttered.

"Me three!" Alice said, still pacing. "Me four!" Kathlyn said as she shook her head.

"I've been more helpless than this." Jared muttered. "Ow!" Jade had thrown a small but sharp stone at him. He rubbed his head. "Alice, what would happen if I decided to talk with the humans?" I asked.

I saw her vision; me, talking with a human in a black suit. We shook hands and soon, everything was peaceful. We lived haromiously with the humans. No one was a ruler. Just everyone working with each other. Then, another.

A human, talking with a vampire. They were holding hands. I found out that it was Tanya. They were sitting on a wooden couch, chatting, looking at one another. Does this mean... Tanya.. will fall in love with a human? And then, another.

Tanya was about to bite the human in the vision just now when suddenly, everything changed. The vampires were on one side of the clearing while the humans on the other. Tanya and the human was in the middle. We were arguing of something. But what? I snapped out and Jade was now playing with her hands.

Alice gasped. That was when I saw another one; Everything was unfair, not right. Vampires were doing the jobs while Humans just enjoy life. Tanya was loccked up. She was screaming in this place that looks like a cell. She looked wild. Her eyes were puffy from crying tearless sobs. No, that can't be.

Kathlyn just saw the vision where we shook hands with humans. Other than that, nothing else was permanent. Poor Tanya.
Then, Amiolet's dream caught my attention..

Amiolet's POV

As my eyes dropped, I had a dream...

I was walking at the same waterfall place. Only, the children weren't here. Renesmee walked slowly towards me. Jacob followed. My eyes lit up as I saw them. But, they weren't as excited as I was. Their eyes were sad and desperate. I frowned in confusion.

"What's wrong?" I asked. For one minute, only the sound of the waterfall falling to the ground was heard. Then, she spoke up.

"Amiolet, you're joining us soon." Renesmee said. Joining them? She waited for me to swallow the words she had just said. Joining them.. Does she mean... I'm going to die soon? I panicked as she said it.

"What? No! Seth needs me! And I need him! I can't leave him alone! I love him and - " I said.

"We know. But, like I said. Everyone will die....soon. You'll be with Seth soon." Jacob said. A tear dropped and stayed in my chin. I shook my head. No no no! It-it couldn't be!

"We finally survived the first disaster! Why must all of us die?!" I shouted.

"I'm sorry, Amiolet." Renesmee touched my arm but I shrugged it off. I was too angry. Angry because we can't live in peace. Why couldn't we?! Why?! Why is life unfair?!

Then, I thought about the children. What would happen to my little twin children? They were just so young... More tears started running to my cheeks.

"It's like what you said, Amiolet. When there's too much happiness, darkness wil come and invade us." Jacob said. I started screaming, "NO!! No!!"

"Amiolet, just remember. Everyone will have peace. We just have to wait and see how life and fate turns out. Everything happened for a reason. All of you lived and survived for this long for a reason. You just don't know it yet.." Renesmee said softly. Her sentence echoed in m head.

I woke up and gasped. Will it happen? Will everyone die? Will my children be safe? I lookd at Seth, who was sleeping soundly. Will Seth be safe? If I died, how will Seth take the pain? I know that Jade, Jasper, Alec and the rest will try to soothe him down but, will his heart ever heal if I died?

Lots of thoughts and questions ran through my mind. Questions that have not been answered yet. And maybe, never will be answered. The thought of Seth loosing me, his imprint, was unbearable. I don't even know what he will do. If Edward went as far as to provoking the Volturi so that they could kill him when he thought Bella died, how far would Seth go if I died?? I don't think I even want to know or imagine…
