Preface:
Bella looked at me with confusion in her eyes. They had dulled over the years. The sweet pools of chocolate had hardened.
"Who are you?" She asked.
Chapter One: Forgotten
Bella's POV
I looked down at my hands. My skin drooped slightly off my arms. I sighed.
"Mama?" My daughter, Anissa, was driving us to Jacob's tombstone. "What's wrong?"
My eyes were copied exactly onto her face. The beautiful color of Jacob's skin shined on her body. She even had my fathers curls.
"It's been so long." My ancient voice shook.
"I miss daddy too mama." Tears ran down her eyes.
I stayed silent. I loved Jacob dearly. He was my life, but sometimes the pain of remembereing him haunted me.
It was slightly windy outside, I took my shawl and wrapped it around my shoulders.
"Careful Mama." Anissa took my arm and lead me to my dead husbands tombstone.
After a moment of silence, a deep sorrow overwhelemed me.
"Mama? Mama!" My lovely Annisa cried.
A pain his my chest. I embraced the darkness eagerly.
Anissa's POV
I saw my mother cling her blouse. Her frail bones stuck out.
"Mama? Mama!" I screamed. She had fainted. I was terrified. I phased quickly and howled.
"Seth? Seth?" I thought. "Please! Help me!"
"I'm on my way." I heard his thoughts fade away.
I never really liked being a... wolf. My fur was white. The only good part of this whole mess was Seth. My sweet Seth. He had imprinted on me when I was 13, four years later I phased for the first time.
I ran into his open arms when I saw him.
"My mom." I whispered into his shoulder.
"Lets get her to the hospitol." He said. Seth drove to the local Forks emergency room.
"What happened?" Seth asked.
"I'm not so sure." I put my face on my hands. "She just blacked out."
"Miss Black?" The receptionist called.
"Yes?"
"The doctor would like to talk to you."
"Thank you."
I grasped Seth's hand tightly as we walked through the quiet hallway. I entered the office.
"Take a seat Miss Black"
"Anissa" I whispered.
"Well Anissa." The doctor shuffled through some papers. "My name is Shawn Newton. Isabella Black is your mother?"
"Yes." I answered.
"I have some news." He stopped and folded his hands. Mr. Newton's blue eyes looked at me sympathy. "Your mother had a stroke."
I gasped. "What?"
"It didn't affect her so much." He assured. "You'll just have to be cautious with her. Mrs. Black might suffer memory loss."
"Why?" I asked.
"The nerves in her brain might be damaged."
"I want to see her!" I cried out.
"Certainly." He motioned me and Seth to a room across the hall.
"She's in here." He flippled his tousled hair. "Quiet now. We musn't frighten her."
My moms eyes were fixed on us. "Were am I?"
"You are in the hospitol Isabella." The doctor took her hand.
"Who is Isabella?"
"That's your name." Shawn said softly.
"Isabella." She reapeted. "That's quite pretty."
"Yes it is." Mr. Newton chuckled lightly. "Anissa?"
I looked over at Seth. His mouth was hanging open.
"I can't believe it." He whispered.
I let go of his hand. Walking slowly towards my mother, I started to cry.
"Hello, Isabella." I choked on my voice. "Do you remeber me?"
"No." She replied after a long stare at me.
"My name is Anissa." I motioned towards Seth. "That's my boyfriend. His name is Seth. Isabella. I am your daughter."
"My daughter?" Her silver eyebrows furrowed. "I don't have one."
"You can't remeber me." I explained. "You were married to Jacob Black. He was the best daddy in the world."
I cried into my face.
"No." She shook her head wildly.
"Yes. Mama, I love you."
"No. No. No!" My mom's arms flung around like a dolls.
"You better go now." Mr. Newton motioned us to the door. "Nurses?"
I ran through the doors and into the open rain. I fell against the soft grass near the entrance.
"Anissa." Seth cooed my name. Lifting me into his arms, I fell asleep.

Anissa's POV
Chapter Two: Memories
A week later...
I still hadn't gotten used to the fact that my mother still didn't recognize me. I creid myself to sleep almost every night. Seth stayed with me now, I couldn't bear staying at my own house alone.
I was going to pick up my mother soon. She preffered me to call her "Isabella."
Driving to the hospitol was painful. How could I live at home with a person who didn't know who I was?
"It'll be okay." Seth patted my hand.
"I hope so." I shivered.
The doctor greeted me warmly behind the counter.
"Anissa." He greeted.
"How are you doing, Shawn?" I asked.
"I'm okay." He grinned. "Are you excited?"
"Kind of." I said half-heartedly.
"Don't worry about anything." His blue eyes shined. "We'll be checking up on your mother."
"Thank you, doctor."
"Shawn." He pretended to be angry. I couldn't help but laugh.
Seth put his arms around my waist.
"I don't like the way the doctor looks at you." He growled into my ear.
"Don't worry." I giggled. "I love you."
"I love you too, Anissa." He kissed my cheek.
The big door opened. Dr. Newton wheeled my mother over to me.
"Isabella." I smiled.
"Good Morning, Anissa." She smiled a weak smile. 'Were are we going?"
"I am taking you to our... em... my house." I whispered in pain.
"How lovely." She said blankly.
"Have a good afternoon Anissa." Shawn Newton said.

When we got to my house, which was Grandpa Charlie's, mom stiffened.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"It's nothing." She assured me, the skin that clung to her wrists dangled.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes child."
I pushed her into the door with a little help from Seth. The wheelchair was heavy.
"Would you like some tea?" I asked.
"That's be good." She responded quickly. Her eyes wandered all over the living room. My mom stared in wonder at the old piano sitting in the corner.
"Do you play?" She wondered.
"Yes." I responded.
"Will you play for me Anissa?" She asked.
"Of course." I wandered to the piano. I hadn't touched it in weeks. My fingers started to play Clair De Lune. It was my mothers favorite... when she remembered.
"That was beautiful." Tears streamed down her face.
"Everything all right?" Seth wondered.
"Yeah."
"I have to go speak to Nathan." Seth looked out the window. I nodded. Nathaniel Uley was the current Alpha of the pack. I didn't know why they didn't let me...
"I love you." He hugged me and with a quick kiss he left.
"You too have such a strong bond." My mother's voice made me jump. I hadn't realized she was watching.
"Yes, we do."
"Do you love him?" She asked.
"I do." I sighed. "Here I had forgotten about your tea."
"Thank you dear." She looked over at the picture of her and dad on their wedding day. Dad's hair was short back then, his eyes were filled with love as he stared into mom's liquid brown eyes. Mom's eyes had hardened ever since... the accident.
I flinched at the memory. Dad's body, old and broken. The doctors said the head wound was too severe. There was very little chance of survival. The sound of dad's last heartbeat echoed in my ears. I choked on a lump in my throat,
"What happened to your parents?" My mother asked.
"They're... dead." I chose my words carefully. Having her not remember me was like living with a stranger. The smile on her lips was unrecognizable.
"They looked like they loved eachother dearly."
"They did." Silent tears trailed down my cheeks. "They were insperable." -
