The Twilight Saga

This is about Amelie, a half vampire half human girl who is different in a lot of ways to Renesmee. She was created, like a vampire, however the venom didn't have time to spread completely, leaving her part human. She is subject to uncontrolable rages in which she kills hundreds of people with out meaning to. It is set around the time of Eclipse.

Ghost

Chapter 1

I heard my Dad pause outside my door, I thought he was going to come in, but then I heard a meow. Oh, my cat must be outside.

“I need another bookcase.” I said to him.

His response came quickly, “No you don’t I’m sure there’s enough room on your current one.”

He came into my room, his eyes twinkling, he too, turned to look at my colossal bookshelf, which covered the whole of the wall.

“Look, Dad!” I point to the books neatly stacked at the bottom because they couldn’t fit, “They have no room at all!”

Dad smiled at me, “I’m sure you could create a bookshelf on your floor like that.”

I mock-glared at him, and whined, “Daaaad, you know I can’t. You have a day off tomorrow, can’t you build me one then?”

“I will put it on my to-do list.”

I moaned, my Dad’s to-do was about a mile long, and went from jobs that dated years back (painting the bathroom) to very recent jobs (extending the garage). If my bookshelf was put on his to-do list, it would never get done.

“There’s room there!” I pointed to the only spare wall above my bed, “You can build me one like my old room had. You know, the simple wood nailed to the wall, or whatever.”

“No, they had a terrible design. I will think long and hard about it.”

I could tell he was joking, but I followed him out of my room and down the hallway, “Think about it now and then do it tomorrow. It’s supposed to be raining so you can’t do any brick laying. You have all day to build me a bookshelf!”

I had stopped walking, Dad paused at the top of the stairs, “I will put it on my to-do list.”

I groaned and pretended to sulk. I could hear my Dad laughing, I joined in with him.

I knew it was going to get done, either tomorrow or over the weekend. There were two reasons I was positive of this: First, I was an only child and my Dad loved to see me smile, so he did a lot of stuff for me, and second, I was a wildly volatile half vampire half human girl, who with no warning, could massacre a whole village if I got angry. I got most things done for me.

I suppose I felt a bit guilty about being able to have pretty much anything done for me because people were terrified I would eat them, but they were right to worry. Of course, when I got angry, I didn’t mean to kill people, it just happened. And I regretted it deeply later. I always tried to console the families, however they ran away screaming every time they saw me. Sometimes this made me angry and I would kill the rest of them, so I gave up trying to help.

I had never killed someone close to me though. But seeing as I didn’t have any friends, I was an only child and my Mum had been murdered four years ago, my Dad was the only one close to me.

There was one major advantage of being me though. I was born with a very advanced mind. Which meant I had gone to school for a year, but at the end of that year, I knew everything my Dad knew so there was no need to continue my schooling. The Government accepted this and after that they stayed well away from my Dad and I.

Actually, I thought, staring and my bookcase, if someone wanted to hurt me, my books would be a very good place to start.

I loved my books, they were my only companions really. I loved my Dad to pieces, but he was still a Dad. My books consoled me, because they showed me fragments of lives that were so much worse than mine. Even if all of them were fictional.

I was completely sure what the name of my species was, I supposed that technically zombie was the most accurate, because I was dead but then I was saved by the kiss of a vampire.

I absentmindedly rubbed the crescent-shaped scar on my neck. I had never met that vampire who brought me back to life. I’m not that bothered either. Dad said she was nice, with short, black hair, he said she looked more like a pixie than a vampire.

Waking up from being dead, now there was an unpleasant experience. Imagine pins and needles. Now imagine that times a thousand. You now sort of understand how uncomfortable being brought back was.

I slumped onto my bed, murmuring apologies to my cat, Hazel, and turned my iPod on to some random noise. I never really got into music. It was always just background noise, quiet unnerved me. I opened my current book, an enjoyable book about demons. It was relaxing change from the endless romance that made up most of my books. I don’t think the main character in this book was even capable of love. He seemed cold.

I’d already had dinner, so there were no more disturbances that evening. It took me a couple of hours to finish my book, but I stayed up late thinking about stuff. I did it a lot. I talk to myself in my mind. Well, I speed talk. So it was about one in the morning when I finally turned my light off.

“And you have to pay the price for your mistakes. Alone.” She told my coldly. She spun gracefully on her heel and ran away.

Tears dripped down my nose and I shouted out to her, “Please Ellie!”

But she was past listening to what her mother said.

Chapter 15

It was painful, watching Ellie run away from me. It brought back the blistering memories of the last time I watched her back, crying, and she got as far away from me as she could. But following would be pointless,, she was more of a vampire than me and she could very easily outrun me.

I stared at the patch of ground she had been sitting on. Tears dropped down onto the flattened grass. Why had that vampire told me how to find her, she obviously didn’t want me help. It looked like coming back had ruined her life.

I was eager to return to Alice though. I had more tome than I could stand away from him, and I was painfully reminded of this every second that ticked by.

The trail that the vampire left seemed longer than it had before. It wouldn’t be hard for Alec to realise the essence of what Ellie had said to me, and he would probably feel needlessly bad about it. I wished that I had never met Nick, and everything was how it was before.

Alec smiled adorably when he saw me and he opened his arms, inviting me to sit down on his lap again. It was irresistible and gladly wrapped my arms around him.

“How was Ellie?” He murmured into me hair.

I could feel all the vampire eyes in the room turn to my face, which was buried in Alec’s shoulder to mask me tears.

“She’s…” I Paused while I thought of the best way to phrase it, “She’s taking a break.” My voice broke and Alec held me tighter.

“I talk to her,” he promised, “Try to explain to her.”

I blinked away my tears and whispered, “Thank you.”

Richelle will listen to Alec. I was glad, I needed her to understand but she had herself convinced that whatever I said was going to hurt her more.

“Amelie!” Alice – who had forgiven me instantly, as had Ria – sang, “You need to be introduced to the others. They know you, of course, but you don’t know them.”

I was pulled to feet backwards, and I turned to glare at the pixie. She was grinning at me happily.

“This,” She said, pointing to a strawberry blonde vampire, “Is Tanya, and these are her sisters Irina and Kate. And then these are Carmen and Eleazer. They joined the other three a hundred years ago. Wasn’t it?”

The last question was directed to Eleazer – the only male. He nodded, “Beginning of the nineteen hundreds. A few years after the Queen of England died.”

Alice waved her hand vaguely, “Whatever. Didn’t really need the details.”

While this was going on, Tanya, Kate and Irina – the blonde vampire who had told me to find Ellie – had come to shake my hard. Their hands were firm, but the way that they smiled at me made me feel welcome. Maybe Alaska wouldn’t be too bad.

Once the introductions were done I returned to Alec, I just couldn’t stay away from him for long.

Carlisle – who was reading a book – looked up at me, “Amelie, I know this might be a bit sudden, but we would like to know everything about the phone conversation.” He put a bookmark in and placed the book on a small table.

I sighed, but prepared the story mentally. “I’m sorry about that. But after a lot of…bad things, I went to Romania,” they could probably guess why, “And, while I was there, I met him. He was working with Romania all the time,” There was also no need to elaborate on who ‘he’ was, “They thought that I had left, but I really snuck around to listen to what they were saying. He has a gift, I’m not sure about the details of it, but it enables him to change Alice’s visions.”

“Is that why I couldn’t see Shauna coming?” She asked.

I nodded, but I wad wondering who Shauna was. Another vampire who I hadn’t been introduced to?

Edward nodded in response to my thoughts, “She’s hunting at the moment, but she should be back in a few days.”

“Oh, okay. Anyway, the visions was a surprise, but the Romanians want complete control of every single vampire. And they think that the best way to get the obedience they crave is to start a new race of vampires who know nothing of independence. Which means that they need to get rid of all of the others.”

The was a stunned silence in the room, which Eleazer broke, “All of the vampires? They’re intending to wipe out every single vampire? With only three of them?”

I shook my head at him ,he must not have heard about the others, “There are six of them now. Do you remember Florence and Catalena?” There were small nods around the room, “Well Stefan and Vladimir took a liking to them. They’re now part of the coven. And there are two new vampires, Tavain and Anca. I don’t know if any of them have powers though.”

“But still!” Jasper spluttered, “Six of them? There aren’t many vampires, but six can’t slaughter a million vampires! What are they thinking?”

I shrugged, “That’s all I heard. But they’re coming for you last. They don’t want to fight you, not when you have so many allies you can call on. They’ll get rid of all of them first.”

Another silence came, while all the vampires thought about my news.

“We need to warn them all,” Carlisle concluded. The others nodded, “If we call some of the vampires, then they will help us get the word around. We’ll fly to the covens like the Amazon’s who aren’t easily reached in about a week.”

“I’ll take Bella back in two days, that’s when we agreed. Alice your going to have to come. Charlie won’t be happy if it’s just me and Bella.”

Alice and Bella scowled in unison and Bella complained, “Charlie will cope with it.”

Alice laughed at that, “No he won’t Bella, he’ll have a hernia. It’s okay, I’ll come with you. Two days.” She confirmed, staring at Edward.

He nodded and grimaced at something that she thought, “No less that two days. I promise.”

Alice came and sat on the arm rest, “Sorry Amelie, but Charlie really will throw a fit if Bella returns with only Edward. Ria will still be here though.”

I pretended to pout, but then I smiled at her, “It’s okay, I understand. But I’ll miss you.”

“I’ll miss you.” This didn’t come from Alice, it came from Alec.

“What?” I asked blankly, “Why are you leaving?”

He smiled at my expression, “For Richelle. She needs to understand as well.”

Oh yes, with all that had been happening I had forgotten Ellie. “Well, hurry back.” I told him seriously.

“No more than two days.” He promised, “And probably no less. I have a feeling that Ellie will be hard to sway. Just like you.”

He kissed me again and I climbed off his lap, allowing him to get up. He left after kissing me sweetly one more time. I sat down on his vacated chair and Alice and Ria immediately descended.

“Now then, just because I’m not going to stay here for long, doesn’t mean that you are getting out of makeovers.” Alice told me seriously.

I groaned and let her and Ria discuss the options of what to do to me. I had a feeling that I wouldn’t be able to get out of it no matter how hard I tried.
I swear you say that for every chapter... XD
Yes I will...
I have more bad news though, sorry.
Frozen Tears is ending next week....So is Broken Promises...
