Hearts in Shards (Renesmee Story!)

This is a Renesmee story! What if Jacob left Renesmee and she got over him, falling back on Liam, a new half vampire? Will Jacob return? Will Edward and Bella approve?

 



Preface: I See You LIAM POV

 

I sat with Renesmee, in the sunlight of our favorite meadow. I stroked a curly tress out of her face.

 

"Let me see you," she asked. I blinked my eyes once and she smiled a dazzling smile that sparkled almost as much as my skin at the moment. She bit down on her bottom lip. For some reason, Renesmee was more human than myself. I don't know why, but her blood appealed to me so much, I could hardly bare it.

 

I kissed her forehead. "I love you, Renesmee," I promised. I've always loved her, and she's always known. She opened her mouth to return the gesture, but her mother called for her from a distance.

 

"I must leave," she said, rising from the ground. I blinked my eyes once and became "human" again. That was my special power. I could blink my eyes and become a human, or blink them again and become a vampire.

 

I rose with her. Her blood appealed to me so much when I was a vampire. I could hardly stand not to kill her. I wanted her blood so badly, it took all of my strength. I remained human for as long as I could stand.

 

"Renesmee!" Bella called from a distance again, "Renesmee, you'd better come along! Your father is out looking!" Renesmee's father was getting very suspicious of our relationship. Bella, her mother, was the only one she'd told.

 

Renesmee quickly kissed me and ran off at her father's vampire speed.

 

I watched her go, and wished ever so greatly I could tell her the truth, my secret.

Chapter One: Imprisioned Renesmee POV

I miss him, I'll admit it, but Liam is beautiful. He is amazing, truly. His gray eyes, when he wants them to be, stare deeply into your soul, and his brown hair is lush in the wind. Otherwise, he is uncontrollable. I know that he craves for my blood so much, and Dad could help, he went through the same thing with Mommy.

I sat down on the white leather sofa beside of Alice. She looked me in the eyes and rubbed her cold hands over mine. "It's going to be okay, Renesmee," she promised. What is she talking about? Everything is already okay?

I looked her into the golden eyes that were common among the Cullen family. "Alice, what are you talking about?" I asked. I'd grown used to calling her Alice instead of Aunt Alice, because of school.

She smiled slightly. Then, her eyes' colors quickly changed, also her expression to shock. "Ness, it's Jacob," she said. I gasped, but so did another. I turned around, facing the gray eyes of Liam.

I walked over to him, pressing my hands on his hard chest. "Liam, what are you doing?" I whispered. Alice hadn't known about Liam, only Mommy. It was a complete shock that she hadn't seen him.

He kissed my hair, savoring my scent, and staring at Alice, who had her arms crossed. "Renesmee, they have to know about us," he whispered into my red-ish brown tresses.

I looked into his eyes deeply, "No, Liam. No. They won't approve!"

"I don't care, Renesmee. All I care about is you," he explained. I planted a small kiss upon his lips. I turned around to an aweing Alice.

She stuck out her pale hand, which looked ghostly against his. "Hi, I'm Alice, Renesmee's aunt. You are?"

He shook it. "Liam Hughe."

"So very pleasant to meet you. If you wouldn't mind, I have to speak to Renesmee alone?" She asked. Liam kissed my forehead and left.

Alice turned to me, her eyes dark and concentrated. "Ness, Jacob's here. Not near the house, but here, as in Forks," she said. I ran my fingers through my hair.

"No, no, no, no, no!" I kept repeating through my mind and mouth.

Alice rubbed my arms. "Nessie, please, make the right descision," she begged. I nodded multiple times and grabbed my car keys off of the rack.

I told Liam that Alice needed me to go to the mall for her, and when Liam offered to go to, I told him it was to Victoria's Secret.

I drove to the Reservation. I swerved into the driveway. I knocked on the door until Billy opened it. "Nessie! Haven't seen you in a while, how've you been?" He asked. I swerved past him violently.

"I'm so sorry, Billy. I have to see him," I explained, with Billy shortly behind.

"He's not in, Nessie," we were right in front of Jacob's door. I turned to him.

"What do you mean?" I asked. He looked down.

"He's not here. But I will admit, he's not dead." Why had they lied to me? They know I loved him!

A knock on the door erupted. Someone stepped in. "Dad?" asked a familiar voice.

I ran through the hallways, and I saw him. "Jacob?" I asked, not believing my eyes.

"Renesmee?" His expression changed to shock, "Renesmee, what are you doing here?"

I grabbed his arms, expecting him to hold me. He didn't. "Jacob, I love you." I looked into his eyes and he looked down onto me. I wrapped his arms around me for him. Pushing up on the tips of my toes, I kissed him lightly, but he didn't kiss me back. "Is there something wrong?" He dropped me.

"I ... you," he mumbled. I couldn't make out his words.

"Excuse me?"

"I DON'T LOVE YOU." He said sternly. I stared him deeply in the eyes.

I raced out the doorway and into Alice's welcoming arms.

I love it!! Why did Jake leave??? And why did he have to say it that way??? Did he really, truly imprint on Renesmee or was he lying??? Is it Leah?? Keep updating!!
