Edward and Bella have been friends for years. Bella likes to write songs and is sort of a geek. Edward is on the football team along with Emmett and Jasper who are popular. Bella has always liked Edward but doesn’t want to ruin their friendship. What will she do? Will she tell him? Does he like her back?

Chapter One

Have you heard of a girl with brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, loves music and is very clumsy? Well, I’m that girl, Isabella Marie Swan, Or Bella for short. I have five friends, Alice – she’s perky and loves fashion-, Edward – Alice’s brother, he’s my first and only crush, yes I know, how can a girl be seventeen and only once in her lifetime she had a crush on someone? Well, I don’t know the answer to that! – Jasper – Alice’s Boyfriend, he’s best friends with me and my brother – Emmett – my big fun brother, he kind of reminds me of a teddy bear with his strong firm hugs – and last but not least, Rosalie – She’s never really like me but we’re friends now. Ever since she started dating my brother, Emmett, she tried to know me better and we both figured out that we’re more alike then we thought.
I was coming home from a weekend with Renee – my mother, she and Charlie, my dad, divorced and I don’t see her that much anymore. – and I noticed everyone was here. Alice was waiting for me outside on the porch. I ran up to her and gave her a hug.
“I missed you, it was only two days but it seemed like forever!” She exclaimed as she watched me bring in my bag.
“I know, guess what? I wrote another song while I was there!” I told her.
“Really? I want to hear!” Alice said.
“Hear what?” Emmett asked as he picked me up in a hug.
“Bella’s new song!” Alice jumped with excitement.
“A new song? Finally, we get some decent entertainment around here!” Rosalie said and she walked in, smiling and gave me a hug.
“I’m happy to be of service.” I told her and then Jasper walked in.
“So how was your trip Bella?” Jasper asked as he hugged me.
“Good, how was everything here with this crowd?” I asked.
“As good as it can be.” He smiled.
“We’re not that bad, some of us are better then you Jasper.” Edward said as he gave me a hug.
I wanted that hug so much, I didn’t want to let go but, so then he didn’t get suspicious, I let go as soon as he did.
“So… Get your guitar Bella and play us that song!” Alice said, again with the jumping up and down.
“Alright, alright, I’ll be right back.” I said, running up the stairs, grabbing my guitar, running back down again and then taking a seat in the living room next to everyone else.
“Okay, tell me what you think okay?” I asked, they all nodded so I started the song.

“That was amazing, Bella!” Rosalie complimented.
“She’s right, Bella, that was awesome!” Alice said.
“Thanks.” I blushed.
“So who’s it about?” Emmett asked.
“Nosey much?” I asked
“You’re my little sister; I should know this guy you like!” He said and I rolled my eyes.
“There’s no way you will find out the guy.” I told him.
“Why not? Won’t you ask the guy out?” He asked.
“No actually, I’m not.” I assured him.
“Why Bella?” Alice asked.
“Because there’s no point… anyways, I’m going to go unpack.” I told them and walked up the stairs and to my room.
I began to unpack everything and there was a knock on my door.
“Come in.” I said and in walked Edward.
