Chapter ten
Nessie point of view
The party that Alex had the other night was so fun! Jacob called while I was dancing with Allie and I guess Alex answered it, that wasn’t good because Jake flipped out. I have classes tomorrow so to get ready for them I took a shower and did my homework, the homework that I hate so much. In a few days Easter Break is here and I get to go home! I can’t wait and I know that mom can’t wait either, I talked to daddy and he says that she really misses me. I miss her to, I miss everyone and I really don’t want to see Jacob. I love him and I really miss him, more than anyone can ever process but he can always tell when there’s something wrong and there IS something wrong right now! I can’t get Alex out of my head! I really have to talk to mom about it and see what she can tell me, try and find out how she knew daddy was the right man to pick.

Chapter ten (Continued)
Nessie point of view
I got home three days before Easter and the first thing to hug me was mom, next was daddy then Jacob. The way he looked at me, I could tell he already knew there was something wrong. Great, he’s going to want to talk later. “Mom…” I started not knowing how to go on with the sentence. She looked at me “Can we talk?” I asked and she nodded. “Alone” I added and she jumped up. “Of course! I’ll be back later Edward” she said then we ran out the door. She was faster than me but let me lead her, she ran on my heels and didn’t say a word. When I thought I was far enough out that no one could hear us and, daddy couldn’t read our minds I stopped. It wasn’t like I had to go that far, with mom’s power I could have just gone out a few miles instead of six. I know daddy can only read up to five miles but I wanted to be sure he didn’t hear a thing. “Mom, I need your help” I said, “With what?” she asked looking confused. “I met…I met another boy and I can’t get him out of my head” I told her. For a minute she looked shocked but then her face went back to calm and understanding. “What would you like to do about that?” she asked with a smile. “Mom! I really need your help! How did you know daddy was the right guy to pick?” I said and her smile dropped a little. “I didn’t” I said. Now I was the one confused, and I think she saw that. “I loved your father but I also loved Jacob and I didn’t know who to pick but I knew that Jacob could still imprint and I knew how much I loved your father…I just did what sounded right and everything worked out in the end” she told me. “He’s half vampire mom, his name is Alex and he has a twin sister named Allie” I said and again, she looked confused. “He’s a half vampire?” she asked “Yes! And both him and his sister drink only animal blood” I went on; this only made mom’s confused face go to more of a shocked face. Now that I think about it, I don’t think telling her that part was the best idea. -
