Chapter One Leah's POV
I was curled up in bed, just laying there. I couldn’t stand the pain… First Sam, now Dad….. Hot tears had been rolling down my cheeks for awhile now, and I wiped them away. I got up out of bed, changing from my black funeral dress into a shirt and shorts, and barefoot, just went out the front door into the lawn. It was spring time, and a day that wasn’t raining at that. I cursed the weather. My dad’s funeral had been today, and the freaking weather had to be all chirpy and sunny. I wanted to scream. Right now my hatred of the world was at a high. Suddenly, a figure materialized out of the forest. I stiffened. It was Sam. He made a beeline for me, and I turned and walked, quickly, toward the beach. It was only about a month since Sam left me. He was getting closer, so I started running. “Leah!” He shouted, and in a matter of seconds, he was in front of me. Damn his long legs. “Leah, I wanted to say I’m sorry…” He said, looking at me. I looked up into the face I once loved, still do. But my rage was like a storm, boiling inside of me. “For what?!” I spat at him. “For leaving me broken? For leaving me like I was nothing to you?! For moving on from me to my FREAKING COUSIN in a matter of seconds?!” I screamed. From the look in his eyes, I could tell that I’d hurt him, at least a little bit. And then I saw his pity. “Leah, you know I lo-“ I smacked him. “Don’t you dare lie to me Sam Uley.” I growled. “Don’t. You. Dare.” I said, then turned on my heel, stalking back to my house. He didn’t say a thing. I went inside, to the bathroom. I stroked my fingers through my long hair a few times, the long hair Sam always loved, then grabbed the scissors. I held a large chunk out, and cut it off, then made my way until all of my long hair was chopped off, leaving me with a short, cropped hair cut. I took a deep breath, and looked at the floor, where my old hair was. I felt a little piece of me heal, a little piece of me gained back from Sam. And I had to say, I liked it.

Chapter Two Sam
Sam sighed. He hadn't meant to do it. Hell, he couldn't have helped it even if he wanted to! He wanted to tell Leah, so much about imprinting. But he couldn't. As soon as Seth phased, and she knew about the wolves, he'd tell her. Maybe that'd be better for everyone. He sighed, walking back to his house. He opened the door, and Emily was there waiting. He still remembered it, and he knew that he always would; the accidental mauling. He crossed the hall in two strides and captured her face in his hands, his thumb stroking down the scar on her face. He closed his eyes, remembering, remorse and grief flooding him. He had never let Emily get too close to him while he was a wolf after that, or even if he was angry. She kissed him, very gently, on the lips. "It'll be better... Once you tell her, I think she'll understand." She said, on the same page as his thoughts, as always. "I can't wait until it happens." He whispered, wrapping his arms around his love, his imprint, his soul mate. He kissed her gently. "You always understand...." He whispered, smiling slightly at her. She smiled back, beauty lighting up her scarred face. "Of course I do..." She whispered, laying her head on her chest. "Because I love you." She said softly. Sam reached down and stroked her hair. "Sam...?" She said, looking up at him. "Yes?" She bit her lip. "Sam... I... I want to... I want to have a baby." She said.
Sorry it's sooo short!!
