Chapter 3: Refreshing Your Memory

I was at the hospital, they allowed me to stay there for the night because of Caroline. I think I was crazy because everything was a blur. My mind was on Caroline, and thinking how she could forget me. It was 10am and I went up to her room seeing her parents there. "What are you doing here?" I asked them they look confused, "And who are you?" I looked at her farther seeing anger in his eyes "Im Tyler, Caroline's husband." I knew he didn't like me much, he knew who I was but pretended he didn't. "Caroline, please come home with me, and I'll help you remeber,.... Please?" She looked at me and then her parents. "One chance please Caroline." She looked at her mom and then me. " Mom, Dad I think Im going to go with Tyler, I want my old life back." She grabbed her bags as we went into our car.

I drove home and opened the door. "Welcome home!" Everyone was there to welcome Caroline, my best fried Elena was there and Caroline's best friend Stefan too. "We missed you!" Stefan hugged her tightly and everyone did. I escorted everyone out,  "Thanks for coming!" I said to each of them before closing the door walking back over to Caroline. "Im sorry" She looked down, "I didn't know who they were" She said to me "Coming home to that, its a lot to take in!" She looked at me then saw a picture of me and her. "See, I dont remember that or us" She rested her head on her hands. "It will get better in time, I promise." she looked at me and leaned her head back on the couch. "Tyler, I know your trying to help me but its gonna take forever!" I placed my hand on hers "Trust me, I'll make it all better."
