The Twilight Saga

Hi everyone!
As many of you know, I began writing this story last summer.
But school came and I was too busy to update.
So I stopped writing.
But a lot of you read it and I figured that I would repost it and continue to write it!
So, please, read, comment, and enjoy!
:)

Crying silently
Hurting Underneath
If you sob out loud
You can't cry, too
He'll see them and you
Don't show your weakness
Camouflage the pain
Can't let him see you're hurting
You can cry in the rain
That way no one will see
Won't see the tears stream
Down your face they flow
But only as the rain will blow
You can fake it
If you're good
You can act
Pretend, you could
Stay expressionless
Look emotionless
Smile
Even though it hurts
Even though it's ripping you apart
Even though you're screaming inside

Preface

When the pain starts to break through, your'e screaming on the inside. But you can't show the weakness. That would only bring amusement to them. You can't scream out loud. You've got to stay expressionless. Look emotionless. Cover up the proof. Smile.
Even though it hurts.
Even though it's ripping you're insides.
Even though you're screaming on the inside.....

As most of you know, this is the FINAL chapter of Screaming Inside.
Due to school starting for me, again (I'm only 13, 8th grade :)), I needed to cut the story short and sum it all up because once school starts again, I will be sooooo busy with everything going on and won't have any time to write!
My schedule will be quite busy! On Monday, I have WEB (Where Everybody Belongs), which is where the best 'leaders' in 8th grade hang out with groups of 6th graders to make them comfortable coming into middle school. On Monday NIGHT volleyball starts. Tuesday is my dad's birthday and I have volleyball, again. On Wednesday, school starts. Then I will have school, homework, volleyball, student council, school dances, and all other things.
So, as to all that, I majorly apologize for this being the last chapter. I will be on every once in a while, of course. But not everyday like usual.

:)

With that, here is the last chapter of Screaming Inside:

Chapter 10

Bo's POV
It has been two years, now.
Two years since Lili's father layed his hand on her for the last time.
With the video I had taken and the evidence I had, I showed the cops what had been happening to Lili.
It took them a few days but they finally did lock her father up.
He's sentenced to 25 years in jail.
I begged that they sentence him to life in jail. But they said that since it wasn't actual homicide, they wouldn't. They had no proof that this has been going on for longer than a few months even though I tried to convince him that since 4th grade (when I became suspicious) or 1st grade (when we first became friends) this has been happening. But without success, we walked away.
Lili tells me all the time that it doesn't matter. It's over now. And he's locked up. But I can't help still being real mad. I mean, come on. She's my best friend. And my girlfriend.

"Lili. Do you know something?"

"What, Bo?"

"We are only in 9th grade. And I know you are my soul mate." I smiled at her.

"And, how exactly are you so sure?" She gave me a half grin.

"Oh, Lili. Don't be so ridiculous. Have I ever been wrong?"

A huge smile spread across her face.

"Have I ever let you down?" Then after a few seconds of silence, I jokingly said "C'mon. Let's hear it! Have I??"

"No." She laughed and I let out a very deep breath and laughed with her.

We stood by her locker and I looked into her brown eyes. Now that it was fall, they had light specks of green in them.

"You're beautiful. Did you know that?" I asked her.

She closed her eyes, smiled, and then kissed me.
When she pulled away, I asked her if she wanted to come to my house after school.

She giggled and said "Do I have a choice?"

Lili had been living with my family since her dad had been taken away.

"Nope. Guess not." I gave her my best smile and grabbed her hand when the bell rang.

"To science?" I asked.

"To science!" she replied.

And to science is where we headed.

Through all this I learned a few things.

1) It is important to know what you want. You need to want something badly enough to make it happen. If it's gonna happen, you need to want it real bad. I wanted Lili to not be hurt anymore. I wanted that real bad.

2) They lied. Someone said 'If you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it is truly yours.'
As where that may be true, it isn't always.
I wasn't going to let Lili go. I believe if you really love something, you cannot be without it for more than a few seconds.

And most importantly:

3) You need to live life to the fullest. You need to focus on the good instead of the bad. You cannot just expect everything to go right. And when it doesn't, you fight until it's right. Then you smile and just keep on living. You stand up for what you want. You stand up for what is right.
And, you follow your HEART.
And Lili did.
She ignored the pain.
And I fought for her.
And her hear, well, that lead her right to me.
