Because bella's parents got a divorce when she was younger she didnt trust anybody. But when she meets Jacob she tries to trust but he breaks her heart. Then after she meets edward shes not sure what to do. All Human

Chapter 5
When I woke up im the second person awake the other person of corse is Edward. He was sitting in the kitchen reading a book his back turned to me. I tip toed over to him trying to see what he was reading, to find out that he was reading a classic. One of my favorites actually Romeo and Juliet.
“You know you never be a spy with those skills” he said without even turning around.
“Who says I was trying to be a sneaky maybe I’m just naturally that quite” I said trying to get some of my dignity back
“Whatever you say, you want to come see something” he said with a devilish smirk on his face. I debated for a second
“Yeah sure” we walked out of the house and went through the forest until we found the most beautiful meadow with different flowers everywhere.
“I’m usually come here to think. I would just stay up here for hours. I found it when I was little, so I’ve been coming for years.” He was right in front of me. I have never really been to close to him. His eyes were beautiful, just like the rest of him. Our lips were three inches away from each other. I turned away from him
“Well we should get back to the house” when we got to the house nobody was wake still. Edward went to his room without another word. I went into the living room and put in a movie and watched it until everyone else. He stayed away from me the rest of the weekend and when we went back to school.
Three Weeks Later
“So I saw something today...” Alice said to me coming up to me
“What was it?” I asked kind of interested. Alice always was in the middle of the rumor mill. She stayed quiet for a couple minutes.
“Come on Alice you can just lead me on like that. tell me !!!!” I said teasing her. But she didn’t smile
“I saw Jacob and he was... he was making out with this girl behind the school. You see I was looking for Edward and so I know how he like to wonder off in strange places and then I saw him he was basically groping her It was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. Then when he saw me he told me to tell you that he was breaking up with you. I really sorry about this Bella. I didn’t want to see you get hurt, at least anymore then you already are” I was in complete shock. I turned to her and asked her if we could leave and just go to her house. When I offered this she was ecstatic to ditch school. When we got to her house I went into her room and cried soo hard, by the time I finished. Edward came home.
“Alice where were you I could- ... what’s wrong with Bella” this comment was surprise to me since he’s been ignoring for weeks. Alice filled him in and as she told him his face got angrier and angrier. As soon as she was done Edward stormed out of the house and didn’t come back.
When we got to school the next day. I finally saw Jacob he looked really weird. Then I noticed that he had a black eye. What happened to him I thought.
“Did you hear what happened to Jake? Edward went to go find him a the got in to an argument about you, Bella. And Edward got so mad that he just punched Jake in the eye it was crazy.”
Why would Edward do that? I had to go and find him. This didn't make sense.

What a jerk!!!!!!
I am so glad Edward went to put him in his place!
There is definitely a spark between Bella and Edward, but it will definitely not be easy for her to trust him after everything that just happened and what happened with her parents.
Also: I love your little cartoons. Nice touch!
