Chapter 10
When I got to school after that long weekend everyone had heard about that big fight that Jacob and I had at the party but they also heard that me and Edward go out. So when I got into school all I heard was whispers. But then they stopped as Edward came up to me and wrapped his arm around my waste.
“Don’t worry about it, just ignore them ok”
He whispered in my ear
As he said this I got butterflies in my stomach and got confused this wasn’t suppose to happen I was suppose to get this feeling with Jacob not Edward.
We walked down the hallway together with his arm around my waste.
“Aww look at the love birds so adorable”
I heard from the right of us. I turned to see that it was Jacob with the snide comment
“Jealous are you Jacob” Edward asked him
“No not at all you’re just taking my sloppy seconds” he turned and walked away. Edward ran up to catch him.
“HEY!” Edward yelled at him “don’t talk about Bella like that. She was the best girl you will ever get. And since you treated her like s**t you will never have her again.”
And with that Edward walked back to me turned us around and walked me to my next class.
I was shocked into silence once again by Edward stupid sweet words. He really has strong feeling for me.
“Thank you” I whispered as we made it to my class.
“He shouldn’t talk about you like that, I would never talk to you like that” he said then he leaned down and kissed me. My stomach felt like it was room full butterflies. Then he pulled back
“I’ll see you after class ok”
And with that he walked away to his own class.
Throughout my whole class I couldn’t stop thinking about how much he really likes me. I mean he really really like me and I using him.
When I got outta class Edward was standing there right in front of the door of my class. Having this big goofy smile on his face.
“Hey” I said “what’s up?”
I asked him
“I have a surprise for you” he said then pulled me to the side of the hallway
“Close your eyes” I did what I was told. But then started babbling
“You Edward I really don’t like surprise. Why don’t you just tell me with my eyes open why do I have to have them closed that doesn’t...”
He put his hand over my mouth
“Ok Bella shut up and open you eyes”
Again I did as I was told and open my eyes to see that Edward had bought prom tickets
“Bella swan will you go to prom with me”
I gasped I didn’t expect him to ask me to prom.
“Yes Edward Cullen I will go to prom with you”
I smiled. He came close and put his sweet lips on top of mine.
“You’re lucky you said yes or else Alice would be after you and we know we don’t want that”
“Yeah you’re right”
And with that we intertwined or fingers together and walked down the hallway to or next class which we had together.
Our hand stayed like that for the whole class. And I didn’t try to move the either. When I would look down at our hand resting in my lap I would smile and go back to my work.
After we got outta class we went to class and apparently Edward had told Alice that we were going to prom together. So when I saw her she was jumping up and down squealing a usual Alice reaction.
“Oh Bella I’m so excited we can go dress shopping I can’t wait maybe you can wear read, oh or you can wear purple. Oh my there are so many colors from you to choose from...” she talked my ear off while we went through the lunch line and as we sat down. ‘Doesn’t she every shut up’ I mean honestly I loved Alice but she just would not stop talking
But I took it because I know that’s how Alice is. But then jasper came and sat down with us and Alice stopped talking to me and turned to talk to him. I was half way glad halfway offended. But I just turned around and starting talking to Jessica. By then lunch was almost over. Me and Edward got up dropped our trash off and started walking to my next class. He left me with a peck on my cheek.
I walked in to find that this is the class I had with Jacob. Irritated I rolled my eyes and stormed to my seat planning to ignore him. Apparently I wasn't so lucky as he came in the class and tried talking to me
“Hey bells how’s it going”
I opened my binder to the math section and started doing the warm-up
“Oh the cold shoulder I get it I just want to ask you something”
I continued writing in my binder
“Ok I know we’ve had some differences but I’m will to work it out. And but saying I’m sorry. And to make up for I was wondering if you wanted to go to prom with me.”
I so badly wanted to jump up and down and say yes but I remembered how badly he hurt me and I was planning on doing the same thing
“No Jacob I don’t want to go with you. You know I already have a boyfriend and that he asked me. So why would you asked me I really have no interest in you anymore. So just leave me alone”
And with that I turned around trying to pay attention to the board.
“But please Bella just think about it I’m so much...” he was cut off by the teacher
“Mr. Black would you like to tell what the answer to number three is.”
“Umm the civil war”
“Maybe if you paid attention Mr. black you would know that we are in math class not history”
I chuckled. Jacob did try to talk to me after that. And Edward meets me outside my class after it was over and walked me to my car.
I looked over my shoulder to see Jacob looking at us green with jealousy
I turned to Edward gave him a long sweet goodbye kiss then got in the car and left, with a feeling of accomplishment for the day.

Chapter 11
Over the weekend me and Alice went dress shopping I got a red Dress and Alice got a purple dress. We had a lot of fun even though I hate shopping with a passion. We went to a couple stores got something to eat then came back to my house. Alice was telling me how excited she was to going with jasper. And of course I was going with Edward everyone knew this, but Jacob still called me every night to ask how my day has been and if I wanted to go the prom with him. And with that same conversation he got the same answer. This was a big fat NO. But It was kind of fun teasing him like this. But if I had ever told Edward about this he would probably freak out and confront Jacob.
It was the day of the prom. Me, Alice and Angela were getting ready at my house. So we were running around getting ready. Charlie wasn't home so we didn’t have to worry about him.
Alice was doing everything and by the time she was done. She hadn’t even done anything to herself. But 10 minutes later she was in her dress hair and make-up done. She looked beautiful.
“Aww Alice you look so pretty” I told her
She smiled “you don’t look to bad yourself, but considering that I did your whole face”
I chuckled “Thanks Alice for doing all this” pointing to my face
Angela came down the stairs and twirled for us
“So how do I look?” she asked
“Oh my gosh Ben is gonna faint when he sees you”
“Lets hope not then I won’t be able to dance with him tonight”
Then there was a knock on the door. We told the guys that they had to meet us at my house. Then we were gonna come back and hang out here afterwards, Charlie was going out for the night and said they could come over.
I went to the door to open it but instead of Edward being on the other side. It was Jacob. Alice looked over suspiciously. I gave her a look that meant I’ll take care of it. I walked through the door to talk to him.
“What the hell do you want Jacob.” I asked
“I came to pick you up for prom.”
“Are you figgin stupid I told you that I didn’t want to go with you”
“ohh Bella stop trying to act like your hard to get you know that you want me back, and I here to make your dreams come true” as he said this he came closer and closer to me.
“Jacob I’m with Edward not you get it through your thick skull. I DON’T WANT-“
I was cut off by Jacob’s lips crushing mine. I missed his lips so much this is what I wanted so badly. These lips were the ones that I was doing all the stuff with Edward for. I pushed Jacob away.
“What the hell Jacob what don’t you understand I don’t want to be with you” I yelled at him “now go away”
I walked away back into the house and as I expected Alice was by the door waiting fore an explanation.
“So you were ease dropping were you?”
“Is their anything going on between you and him” she asked with a worried look on her face.
“No he just couldn’t get it through his mind that I just didn’t want him. Just don’t tell Edward please you know he would freak out if he found out”
“Well I guess... ok I won’t tell him.”
“Imma go and get my purse before the guys get here”
I went to my room and grabbed my phone. I went to my contacts and found Jacobs’s name, I texted him. it said
“Meet me in the back of the gym at 10”
I sent the text and as soon as I sent it there was a knock at the door. The guys were here. I came back down the stairs. Edward looked so handsome in his suit.
“Wow Bella you look amazing.” before I could say anything I was interrupted by Alice
“Thank you it’s one of my best works” jasper leaned
Over and kissed her cheek.
“You did a wonderful job” jasper said
“You guys ready to go” Ben asked
We went to dinner then we went to the prom. They did a pretty good job.
Once we found our seat. Edward stood up and asked me if I want to dance. We were dancing for a couple songs, then Emmet asked to cut in but half a song later Edward came back for a slow song. Edward leaned down to my ear
“You look so beautiful I’m so lucky to have you”
I smiled as he lean to my lips and kissed me. His lips were so soft and cold. It was amazing. We pulled back and I laid my head on his shoulder.
As we were dancing I saw Jacob in the corner pointing to the back and walked out the door. I lifted my head from Edward shoulder
“I’ll be right back” he looked kind of surprised but let me go.
I followed where Jacob had just gone. I walked out the door and found Jacob standing next to the door. Jacob pulled me to him and smashed his lips against his. We stood there and had our make out session for a couple minutes but we were interrupted by some one busting through the door. I looked up to find out who it was. It was Edward. All the blood had drained from my face. My heart started pounding against my chest.
“Edward im so- “I started but he cut me off
“No Bella I’m done with you s**t” he turned around and was about to leave. I grabbed his arm
“Edward please”
Tears stinging my eyes. He jerked his arm out of my grasp and left.
“Why are you begging for him you have me now” Jacob asked after a couple minutes
“Because you treat me like crap. I just ruined the perfect relationship for a sucky guy”
“Whatever Bella don’t try to run back to me again”
And he left me there. Alone in the back of the gym. I just broke the most wonderful guy’s heart. I sat on the floor and started to cry.
“Cant believe I did this” I whispered to myself
