True Love – A Seth Imprint Story
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the story itself.
Ugh! Paul imprinted on Mandie four weeks ago, and they couldn’t be happier. I’m happy for them and all, but I just can’t ignore this empty I have feeling inside of me. I’m starting to get really lonely.
Leah and I are the only ones who haven’t imprinted on someone yet. Sam has Emily, Quil has Claire, Embry has Rachel, Jacob has Nikki, Jared has Kim, and now Paul imprinted on Mandie. I’m starting to get depressed, and if I’m depressed then Leah has to be miserable.
I got up off the bed, and jumped out the window. I needed to go run for a while. Running has always calmed me down in the past. I phased and started running in the forest.
I ran for about an hour in no particular direction before I started running toward Emily’s house. The pack is having a meeting, and Emily is cooking us lunch. Let me tell you Emily is an excellent cook.
When I got there I phased and went in. I saw Emily in the kitchen cooking a werewolf pack sized meal, and the pack sitting at the table joking and laughing loudly. I walked over and sat down beside Leah.
“Hey guys! What are you laughing about?” I asked.
“Were talking about bloodsuckers we’ve fought and destroyed in the past.” Jared said with a big smile on his face.
“Cool! You’ve got to let me join in.” I said with a smile of my own. Two seconds after I said that Emily started bringing out plate after plate after plate of hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and pizza. Then she brought out several two liter drinks for us to have.
Everyone ate it all in about twenty-five minutes, and after we were done Emily started to clear the table off. I thought I’d help out so I grabbed some plates and brought them to the sink for Emily to wash. Once I was done I went back to the table so we could start the meeting. I wonder what it’s about.
Luck has always been against me, and probably always will be. My life was good once in the past, but then everything went wrong in my life. Right now I’m living in an alley in Port Angeles, Washington, and all I have is the clothes on my back. I remember when I had a house, money and most importantly…a family.
I miss my parents so much, but there is nothing I can do to bring them back. My family was barely making ends meet when my parents got really sick. They couldn’t go to work so we didn’t have any money to pay the bills with. The bank then took away our house, and put us on the streets. I could barely find any food for them, and they had no medicine to take for their illness. My parents died after being on the streets for three weeks.
Those events happened three years ago, and I’ve quickly learned how to survive. I learned the art of picking pockets to get money to buy the stuff I can’t steal. I’ve learned ways to stay warm enough at night. I have also learned how to close and protect my heart from other people before it gets broken again.
Let me introduce myself. Hi! My name is Terra Nicole Thorn, and I am sixteen years-old. Did I mention before that I hate my life?
When I sat down everybody immediately went quiet. The pack sat waiting quietly wanting to know what this was about. Sam stood up to officially begin the meeting.
“This meeting is being held because we have a bloodsucker running on the loose around our territory.” Sam said. Every werewolf growled and Emily gasped. There hadn’t been any activity lately in La Push at all.
“I’ve caught his scent several times while out on patrol. Both times I’ve caught it in a different location. He seems to be observing and watching our defenses. I want everyone to be on guard while on patrol from now on, and stay in groups of two or more.” Sam finished. Everyone nodded and agreed with him.
“No filthy bloodsucker is getting past our defenses!” Paul said while Jared, Quil, and Embry smiled. The rest of us just laughed at them.
I stood up along with everyone else. Leah and I said our good-byes to everybody before running out the door and into the woods. It was a fairly short trip to get to our house, and we were both too caught up in our own thoughts to notice each others. Once we got home we went our own separate ways. I went to my room to take a nap and she went to the living room to watch TV.
I grabbed my old and abused MP3 player off my desk, and I set it on my favorite playlist. I then walked to my bed and sat down on it. I sat down with my back against the wall and my feet hanging off the end of the bed.
I just sat there listening getting lost in the music until I fell asleep. I then started to have a strange dream. It was one of the strangest dreams I have ever had, and I don’t know what it means at all.
I’m walking across the street and down the sidewalk when I “accidently” bumped into a stranger. I immediately apologized to him, and went back to walking again. I do this several more times and each time I do it to a different person on a different street.
I learned not to feel guilty about it a long time ago. I most likely need the money more than they do anyway. They have homes to live in and I don’t. They have more than ten dollars, and I don’t. They are donating to a homeless charity and they don’t even know it.
I walked for about five more minutes before I turned into an alley. I walked over to my bed, a cardboard box and a thin blanket, and sat down on the hard surface. I then wrapped the blanket around my shoulders and leaned against the wall.
I needed to move to a nearby town again. I made a rule for myself to never stay in a town for more than three weeks. I made that important rule after people started recognizing me for the one who stole their money out of their pockets and started calling the police on me. Let me tell you that being chased by the police is not fun at all.
I sat there thinking for an hour or so before I stood up and grabbed my blanket off the ground. I walked out of the alley and turned left. I walked and walked and walked some more. I walked until I was out of Port Angeles and still kept on walking.
Blue. Silver. Black. So many cars have passed by me, and are passing by me now. I’ve been walking for who knows how long by some road that I don’t know the name of.
It’s starting to get dark and I’m getting really tired. I decided to go into the forest to sleep for the night. I turned too my right and walked into the forest. I walked for five minutes until I found a good spot to. It was a spot that had protection from the rain that was most likely to come tonight. I laid down and was fast asleep as soon as my head hit the ground.
I opened my eyes to see that I am standing on top of a really tall cliff. Ahead of me is a lot of icy dark water and behind me is a big forest. I, like any other sane person, decided to go into the forest because jumping over a cliff right now didn’t sound like a lot of fun.
I started walking towards the forest, but then suddenly I heard a twig snap and a weird growl. I ran like my life depended on ii, and for some reason I felt like it actually did. I looked back and saw a saw a sandy colored following me.
For some reason I wasn’t afraid of it at all. He felt like very close friend actually. After a minute of starring I think it actually kind of smiled at me. This wolf was so strange.
I had slowed down while watching him when I saw a blur slam hard into the wolf. The wolf slid almost ten feet across the ground. The vampire was walking towards the wolf when it happened everything went black. I couldn’t hear a thing and… WAIT! I heard a twig snap.
------------------------------------------------------------------End Of Dream---------------------------------------------------------
I opened my eyes and saw that I was in the forest by La Push. I took several steps toward La Push but a too sweet of a smell invaded my nose. There was a filthy bloodsucker nearby.
I started running as fast as I could possibly go I ran for minutes and the whole time the scent was getting stronger. I saw a figure standing by the cliffs, but she looked pretty human to me.
The closer I got the more beautiful she became. She has long jet black hair that goes well with her icy blue eyes and pale skin. She looks to be around the age of sixteen. I couldn’t stop looking at her.
I almost forgot about the bloodsucker. Almost being the key word. I heard a twig snap nearby and I immediately growled. Apparently the girl heard me because she started running towards the woods.
I knew I should’ve gone after the bloodsucker, but instead I went after the mysterious girl. Something draws me to her that I can’t explain. That I don’t understand.
I start running a safe distance behind her so she doesn’t notice me right away. She’s running so fast. She is obviously scared out of her mind and I’m probably only going to scare her further.
She looks behind her to see if anyone is chasing her, and she spots me following her. She doesn’t seem to be afraid of me at all. Actually she seems almost glad to see me in a way. I couldn’t help but to send a wolfish smile her way.
She started slowing down when out of nowhere the vampire I had been searching for slammed into me from the side. I slid across the ground and came out at a stop by an old looking tree. The male vampire was starting to run toward me again when it happened.
Everything went black. I couldn’t hear a thing for what felt like hours. I then heard my name being called in the distance. It was getting closer and closer when…
------------------------------------------------------------End Of Dream---------------------------------------------------------------
I woke up to Leah calling my name, and telling me it was time to patrol. I stood up and grabbed my MP3 and returned it to the desk. I walked with Leah while thinking about the strange dream I just had.
I immediately stood up and looked around. SNAP! Another twig snapped behind me. I looked everywhere and in all directions, but I just couldn’t see through the darkness of the night.
I then heard the most evil laugh that I had ever heard in my entire life. It sounded like it was coming from everywhere at once. I didn’t want to wait any longer. I bolted. I could tell he was way faster than me though.
I was running as fast as I could, but the laughing wouldn’t stop. It sounded so close as if it was right by ear. It sounded like one of those evil scientist laughs from cartoons on TV.
I was getting so tired and I was starting to slow down when I was jerked backwards by something. I slid across the hard forest floor until I hit a tree trunk. I lifted my head and looked up at the man responsible, but he didn’t look at all human.
His skin was deathly pale like he had no blood running through his veins. He had these creepy blood red eyes that were staring at me. He had dirty blonde hair that reached his shoulders. He was wearing ripped faded jeans and a black T-shirt that had “Blood” written on it. He had this evil smile that only a monster could pull off. I could tell he was dangerous.
He walked slowly toward me while I tried to scoot back only to be stopped by the tree trunk. He reached where I was and grabbed me by the neck. He then lifted me up to where I was dangling a foot off the ground.
“Hey little one, what’s your name?” The man said. Are you kidding me? He said it like we were talking about the weather. I kept my mouth tightly shut. He really didn’t like that at all.
He growled and threw me like I weighed nothing. I flew through the air until I slammed into another tree. My back and shoulders were really starting to hurt now.
He looked really angry now. One second he was ten feet away and the next second he was standing right in front of me. He lifted his foot and slammed it down on my arm so hard.
I heard a sickening crack and then felt a searing pain. He stood over me with that evil smile of his when he again picked me up by my neck, but this time he wasn’t gentle. He was going to strangle me to death. I could see it in his eyes.
My world was starting to go black, and he wouldn’t let go of me. I tried to struggle but it was no use. He was too strong, and I was too weak. The last thing I saw before I went unconscious was the man’s horror filled face.
We walked out the door and phased in the woods by our house. We then ran at werewolf speed for a little while until we saw Embry and Quil. They were waiting for us to join them in a small clearing.
“Hey! Are you guys ready to hunt down a bloodsucker?” Quil and Embry thought at the same time, and both of them had a big wolfish grin on their faces. They both wanted to find and fight a bloodsucker.
“We don’t know if we will run into him or not so don’t get over excited you guys.” I thought back to them with a smile of my own. They just laughed in response.
Quil and Embry started running in one direction, and I and Leah went the opposite direction. We ran with our noses on alert for the scent of any bloodsuckers nearby. We searched the woods for around twenty minutes before we came across the scent we had been searching for.
I smell the sickly sweet scent of a bloodsucker and couldn’t help but notice how it was slightly similar to the scent of the bloodsucker in my dream. Leah notified Quil and Embry of our location and told them to get the rest of the pack. We followed the scent at top speed and it was getting stronger. We were so concentrated on the bloodsucker’s scent that we didn’t smell the human blood in the air.
Shortly after we found the scent we came across a girl lying unconscious on the ground, and the bloodsucker already very far away. Leah chased after the fleeing bloodsucker, but I couldn’t take my eyes off of the girl on the ground. My mouth was hanging wide open and if I didn’t close it soon bugs will probably fly in, but I really didn’t care.
It was like a thousand steel cables were now connecting me and her together. My world now revolves around her. Even if I wanted to there is nothing I could do about it. I think I just imprinted on this girl.
I wasn’t only shocked by the imprinting itself, but also who I imprinted on. She has the long jet black hair and pale skin. If she opened her eyes they would probably be an icy blue color. This was the girl from my dream lying unconscious on the ground in front of me.
There was defiantly a difference from her now and in the dream though. In the dream she was clean and had nice, new clothes on. Now she was covered in dirt and looked like she has worn the same clothes for a very long time.
I looked at her a little more closely and realized she was hurt. I growled and stepped back to phase. Once I had my clothes on I walked toward her slowly. When I reached her I kneeled down beside her and looked for the injuries. It looked like her right arm and left ankle is broken, and she has bruises and scratches on most of her body.
I started to shake, I was so angry. The only reason I didn’t phase then was because my imprint needs to get to the hospital. I don’t know the extent of her injuries just yet.
I will get revenge though. No one messes with my new imprint. I want that filthy bloodsucker ripped to shreds.
When I smelled the sickly sweet scent of a bloodsucker I told Quil and Embry to get the others for backup. We ran at top speed. We were getting closer and the scent was getting stronger.
I then saw a poor girl about sixteen years-old unconscious on the ground and the bloodsucker in the distance running away. I pushed myself harder and ran after it. The bad thing is he has a huge head start. Even with my werewolf speed I knew I most likely wouldn’t catch up to him. I kept running after him though.
I then felt Seth leave my mind. I had been so focused on catching the bloodsucker that I hadn’t paid any attention to Seth’s thoughts. I wonder if he got hurt or if he’s just tending to the girl. I really didn’t know.
A minute later with the bloodsucker getting farther away Sam and the others phased into their wolf forms. I informed them about the bloodsucker escaping, the unconscious girl, and Seth phasing. Sam split the group up. Sam, Paul, and Jared are joining me with the bloodsucker, and Quil, Embry, and Jacob went to find Seth and the girl.
I picked her up and tried not to touch her injuries. I didn’t want her in any more pain then she already was. I started walking in the direction of the hospital.
After four minutes of walking I heard three of my pack members behind me. Quil, Embry, and Jacob phased and came toward me. I could tell they had questions to ask.
“Seth, why didn’t you go after the bloodsucker? The girl could have waited a little while longer.” Quil asked. I guess I have to tell them I imprinted on her.
“I imprinted on this girl.” I whispered. I whispered it so low that they didn’t even hear me with our extra hearing.
“What did you say?” Jacob asked.
“I imprinted on her.” I said a little louder this time.
They just stared in shock for a minute before all of them grinned. I could see they all were happy for me. They know what it is like to imprint on somebody.
“It looks like she has a broken arm and ankle I’m heading to the hospital right now.” I said to them. Ty all nodded and said they would come with me.
We all started walking toward the hospital again. Along the way they told me about the pack chasing the bloodsucker. I can’t believe he is getting away from us! I tried to stay calm so I wouldn’t hurt my imprint.
We finally got to La Push General Hospital and I brought her in. When the lady at the desk saw the unconscious girl in my arms she called a doctor over and they took her away. I immediately felt empty. I felt that needed her in my arms.
We went to the waiting room to wait for the doctor to finish and come out Jacob had to go and phase every seven minutes to check on the others. After an hour and a half they had officially lost the bloodsucker and his scent. I really started to get angry now. I will hunt down and kill that monster for hurting my imprint.
I really need to find out her name instead of just calling her just girl or imprint. I know nothing about her at all. Her name, family, and personality are a mystery to me right now.
The doctor then came out and asked us questions. He asked if we were family and we said no. He then asked happened and we told him we were walking through the woods and stumbled upon her. I asked if it was ok to see her and he said it was fine.
While the others waited by the entrance for the others. I followed the doctor to my imprint’s room. I went in to find her still unconscious lying on a white hospital bed.
I walked over and picked up her hand. I held it and I had a one way conversation with her. I told her about my life even though she couldn’t hear me.
I stayed there for an hour or two before the doctor said I had to leave. I kissed her hand and walked out the door. I went to the waiting area and saw the pack and Emily standing around waiting for me. I walked over to them and said hi.
“How is she doing?” Emily asked me.
“She is still unconscious, but she is going to heal.” I answer her.
I looked over to Leah and saw her smiling at me. I knew that she would be happy and support me. I also knew that underneath that smile was misery. She now is the only one who hasn’t imprinted. I hope she will be okay.
Everyone but Sam, Emily, Leah, and I left. They went to go be with their own imprints. I would wait here until she woke up.
I feel terrible! My right arm and ankle hurt so much and the rest of my body feels sore. I felt like I got hit by a Truck going 80 miles per hour.
I tried to remember what had happened to me. I being half asleep and in pain wasn’t helping my thought process along. After a minute or two of thinking really hard I finally remembered. I was attacked by something, and it defiantly wasn’t human.
I tried to open my eyes but I couldn’t. I tested my other senses. I heard this beeping sound by my head, and I smelled a mixture of cleaner and medication. My guess is I’m in a hospital of some sort.
I may not have mentioned this yet, but I am terrified of hospitals. I couldn’t help but to start panicking. The beeping started to speed up, and I could hear somebody coming into the room.
I opened my eyes and then immediately closed them again. The light above me really hurt my eyes. I opened my eyes again, but this time I did it slowly. I saw that I was right and that I was in a hospital bed.
I looked at the white walls, white floors, and white chairs. Wow! There at least was a window on the wall opposite of me. They know how to use colors. I wonder who decorated it. My alleys need more color like this. I needed to give them a call.
I looked to my right and saw a doctor walking towards my bed. He seemed like he was in his late thirties and had a fake smile on his face. I could tell instantly I wouldn’t like him.
“Hello, I am Dr. Thomas. What is your name?” The doctor asked me once he had reached me. I just stayed silent.
“Who are your parents?” He tried again. I stayed silent. He sighed.
“Why were you in the forest? What happened to you?” He tried again. I still stayed silent. I wonder who found m all the way in the forest, and what happened to the monster?
“Can you speak?” He asked. I was really getting annoyed with this guy. I wasn’t going to talk to anybody here so the answer is no.
He checked all of the machines and left my room with a frustrated look on his face. I was still slightly panicking from being here, and now I had a stupid doctor to worry about. Great.
We all waited. We were waiting for an hour or two before the doctor came walking toward us. You could tell he was very frustrated and angry.
“How is she doing?” I asked. I needed to know how my imprint was doing before I explode.
“She is awake and she seems fine, but she won’t answer any of my questions. She won’t talk to me at all.” He replied back. You could tell he did not like being ignored.
“Can I see her?” I asked. He thought it over for a few moments before he nodded his head.
“I don’t see why not. Just don’t be surprised if she doesn’t talk to you though.” He said.
I walked towards her room feeling excited and curious. I was excited to finally see her awake and moving. I was curious because I knew nothing about her and I really want to find out.

I will try to post more every week.
I also couldn’t have done it without the help of Alice Nicole Cullen and Alice Renesmee Black.
