Chapter One
Bless The Broken Road by The Rascal Flatt’s
“Anyone home?” I yelled stepping through the door way of my brother's house. We always say it belongs to a family member but since our nephew was killed by my brother, it was officially our house. The house looked just like I remembered it, it had our old furniture and paintings. There was the vase that my mother bought when I was 6 and there was my very own painting from when I was 14, it was the first one I ever finished and liked. I could see some the things Zack had added, since it was his house in a way, there was a picture of him and I when he was 7 when his dad and mom were still around. But of course Zack was dead and gone, killed by my oldest brother. The only reason I knew all this was because I had Lexi updating me all the time, but of course my brother went and killed her too. I love him, but he has some issues.
“ANYONE HOME?!” I yelled even louder trying to get someones attention. Someone should be home, Damon wasn't going to school, so unless he has a new toy I would expect him to be here.
“Hello? Who are you?” A girl said walking in. She had long brown hair that was laying straight down her back, she was so familiar and it took me a second to put all the pieces and to remember that she wasn't dead. She was never dead.
“KATHERINE! YOU EVIL WITCH!” I screeched jumping towards her ready to rip her head off. I got close to her neck until I felt strong arms wrap around my waist and chest pulling me away from her.
“Clara, wrong girl. Leave her alone. Let me explain.” Damon whispered in my ear holding onto me tightly.
“Bull! It's her!” I screamed trying to get at her again. I clawed at Damon's arms trying to get him to let go but he just kept healing.
“CLARA, calm down NOW!” Damon yelled. I relaxed Damon of all people wouldn't be holding me back if it was the real Katherine so I trusted him for now but if I had my doubt's the witch was dead.
“Fine I'm calm.” I said dropping my arm and breathing deeply to fix my eyes.
“Now if I put you down will you attack her?” Damon asked.
“No, I'll be good.” I said groaning. Damon was holding a little to tight and it hurt slightly.
Damon put me down but kept his hands on my shoulders. I was only 5 feet so everyone towered over me.
“Clara, this is Elena. She is a decedent of Katherine, it is a very long story but she is a doppelganger of Katherine.” Damon said his grip tightening on my shoulders.
“Really? I guess you guys only figured it out after Lexi was dead?” I asked, I purposely added the last part to get my revenge, Lexi was family to me.
“Wait! You knew Lexi? Who are you?” Elena said looking at me closely. She looked like she was trying to put my face to a name. She saw the Damon and Stefan in my features she just didn't know it yet.
“Yeah, Lexi was like a sister to me. And Damon and Stefan really are my brothers. My name is Clara Salvatore.” I could smell Elena's blood and hear her heartbeat thudding away in her chest.
“Oh, I never knew you guys had a sister? And I'm sorry about Lexi. She really was great.” I could see myself liking her.
“They don't like bragging about me much. I'm to perfect.” I said. I took a step towards Elena, I wanted to get to know her. Damon's arms went around my chest and locked.
“You idiot, I have more self control then you do.” I said turning to look at him. He smirked then let me go.
I turned back to Elena and held out my hand. “I'm Clara, I'm sorry about the misunderstanding. Katherine and I never really got along.” I said giggling to myself, about how I tortured Katherine with the spiders in her hair and when I put vervain in her hair brush after I learnt what she was.
“Yeah, I don't really know anyone that did.” She said laughing with me.
“Don't take any offense to this, but which idiot are you with?” I asked nodding my head at Damon who was watching me like a hawk.
“Stefan, Damon is just a friend. And I am really sorry about what Damon did it wasn't right. Was it Damon?” She said looking over my shoulder.
“Yes, I am very sorry. It was a big mistake.” Damon said in his flat bored tone.
“Wow so you got both whipped? We are defiantly going to get along.” I said smiling at her.
“Ha ha funny. So how are you Clara?” Damon asked coming up and joining our little circle.
“Well I'm single again, I tried Stefan's animal diet, that didn't work out to well, I just came back from Australia, there blood is pretty good, even if it was only the blood bank blood.” I said licking my lips accidentally, then I remembered Elena. I looked at her and she seemed completely fine with what I had just said. She hung out with Damon to much.
“Go to England, yummy.” Damon said smiling.
“You know, you look like both your brothers but you are so like Damon, well the good parts so far.” Elena said laughing. I smiled at her.
“Well, I'm going downstairs to get some blood. You want some?” Damon asked. I nodded and he walked off to the basement.
I went and sat down in the foyer, Elena sat across from me and I kicked my feet up on the coffee table.
“Where is Stefan?” I asked looking around a little. This place hasn't changed since last time I visited.
“He had to go talk to Caroline about Tyler's change coming up.” She said.
I raised my eyebrow.
“Caroline is a friend of mine that Katherine changed and Tyler is a werewolf, and Caroline has been helping him learn some things.” Elena said clearing it all up for me.
“A werewolf? Wow, I haven’t met one since 1935, I thought they were all extinct.” I said amazed.
“Oh how did you know one?” Elena asked intrigued.
“An old friend of mine accidentally killed a woman in a car accident. I met him a couple years after that and we became best friends. Did you know that werewolves can stop the aging process? Kinda of like vampire's can turn there emotions off. Its quite cool but not many know about it.” I said smiling.
“Maybe you could talk to Tyler one day. You know let him know everything you do, explain some things.” She said looking at me happily.
“Of course, I know how hard it was for Jason. We studied and did research for the longest time and then he met a woman he fell in love with and decided to start aging again.” I said, it kind of hurt me when he told me but I saw how happy he was with her so we stayed in touch and his wife knew what he was.
“Oh, that is stuff Tyler would want to know.” Elena said sitting up. I heard the basement door open then close and Damon walking into the foyer.
“Want it microwaved?” Damon asked walking in. I shook my head and held out my hand for the cup.
“Thanks.” I said taking a sip.
“Clara, how were you changed?” Elena asked carefully. I knew that sometimes vampires were very touchy about that subject so I understood her nervousness.
“Well after Katherine turned my brothers, and Stefan accidentally killed our father I was all alone and Stefan and Damon knew that so they came and gave me this necklace,” I said grabbing my necklace to show her, “They gave me an address and then fed me their blood. They said it was completely my choice and I had about a day to chose. And obviously you know what I chose. I fed from my nanny and then went and found my brothers. We traveled and all that stuff then I went on my own for a while, I check in every now and then. But I'm going to be here for awhile, join High School, make friends, go to parties. Have the normal High School life I never got.” I said then I took another sip of the blood.
“What grade will you be going in?” Elena asked.
“12, Stefan and I were born 9 months apart so us both being in same grade is normal.”
“Oh, you'll have us and Bonnie, Tyler, Caroline. But you might have Gym with my brother Jeremy, he got to skip a grade with Gym. He knows everything so if you can't find us you can talk to him.” She said reassuring me.
“Your brother knows everything?” I asked, I was surprised.
“Yeah, its a long story but pretty much he fell in love with a vampire and then lots of other things happened so he knows about witch's, werewolves and vampires.” She said calmly.
I gasped, “Witch's still. Any Bennett's?” I asked. I always loved Emily Bennett, we connected because of how much she hated Katherine. She may have served her but she still hated her.
“Yeah, my friend Bonnie is a decedent of Emily.” Elena said getting slightly excited.
“Oh aweso-.” I was cut off by the front door opening. I put my finger to my lips, then I ran off to hide.
I hid upstairs so I could see everything but Stefan wouldn't see me.
“Hey guys!” Stefan said walking in. He lifted his nose slightly, smelling the air. I ran as fast as possible to the hallway making sure I ran behind him. Stefan spun around quickly trying to see me. Then I ran behind him again, I grabbed Elena and ran back upstairs.
“Scream.” I whispered in Elena's ear. She nodded smiling like crazy then let out a perfect scream. I covered her mouth then took off running before Stefan came. I got downstairs when he got upstairs. I hid Elena in the hallway then I took off after Stefan, he turned just in time to see my blur jumping at him. I wanted to mess with him cause I knew this was how Lexi came to visit him.
I felt the veins underneath my eyes pooping out and my eyes going through the change. I held Stefan down by the throat and smiled at him.
“Hey big brother.” I smiled.
“CLARA!” Stefan said jumping up and hugging me, “How are you?” He said squeezing me.
“I'm good, guess what!”
“What?”
“I'm staying for awhile!”
“Awesome!” Stefan said pulling me into another big hug.
“That is not the normal big brother reaction.” Elena said walking back in.
“Stefan I would love to catch up but I am tired and I need to unpack.” I said yawning to prove my point.
“Ok you go to your room, Damon and I will bring your bags up.” Stefan said hugging me once more then letting me go upstairs. Last time I came to visit I got to pick my room so I got the room with the nice windows and I had some nice furniture.
I looked at the left wall that had all my pictures on it. There was one of Stefan, Damon and I from every decade, there was a picture of just Damon and Stefan from when they used to play football before Katherine showed up, there was a picture of when I was 5 and it was with my big brothers, then there was one of me as a baby again with my big brothers, there was a picture of Jason and I sitting in the library laughing and there was a picture of Emily Bennett and I.
“Lots of memories.” Elena said at my doorway.
“Lots of years.” I said smiling at her.
“Was it ever lonely for you?” She asked walking in and looking around.
“Every day is lonely for me, Damon has his girlfriends and blood bags, Stefan had his schooling and now you. But I have never had anything, the only thing that ever really took my mind off of the loneliness was Jason, he was my best friend and now I only have my brothers, but they've always been busy.” I said sitting on my bed and bringing my legs up to my chest.
“I'm sorry, but High School can change that. I know you will get along great with Jeremy and Tyler, and Caroline and Emily would love to meet you. And there are lots of other people that you will meet, hey who knows you might even find the love of your life.” She said laughing.
“Maybe, it will be nice to meet new people and make friends.” I said then I yawned again.
“Hey Clara, I think we got everything.” Damon said walking in carrying half of my bags and my guitar case. Stefan followed him carrying the rest.
“Yeah that looks like everything.” I said smiling.
“Come on Elena, let Clara unpack and I got to get you home before Jenna kills me.” Stefan said grabbing Elena's hand and pulling her out.
“Bye Clara see you at school tomorrow!” She yelled running out the door to keep up with Stefan.
“Have a good night sweetie.” Damon said coming to kiss me on the forehead.
“Night.” I said as he walked out of my room to let me pack and get ready for bed.
I started running as fast as I could to my bags and then my closet and dressers. I finally got to my bags with all my books in it. It took about 5 of my big suitcases and that wasn't all of them, I had to leave most of them back in storage. I started running again and I filled my bookcase up quickly. Then I walked to my dresser and grabbed out my favorite pj's, boxer shorts and a tank top.
“Clara?” Stefan said knocking on my door. I went and opened it.
“Hey, Elena home safe?” I asked.
“Yeah, I just came to say goodnight.” He said hugging me to him. “I'm really happy your here. I've missed you.” He said into my hair.
“I'm happy to be here too, It's going to be nice.” I said smiling into his chest.
“I'll let you go to sleep.” He said all big brotherly.
“Hmm, love you.” I said and he left to let me sleep.
I went to the bathroom and changed my clothes and brushed out my hair and brushed my teeth. I looked in the mirror and made my face change over and over again. I loved the feeling and power it gave me, to look so scary and have fangs that can break threw skin like a knife threw butter.
I ran back to my room and laid down in my bed. I closed my eyes but I still felt all jittery, I couldn't get over the feeling that something wonderful was going to happen here. Something that would change my life completely.
I was running deep in the woods and I came to a cemetery. There was million's of Raven's flying around and sitting on gravestones. All of them were staring at me waiting for me to do something. I heard my name being called from the forest, it was a sweet, raspy voice. “Clara... Please help me...” It kept saying over and over again. I was about to start running until I saw the wolf standing by the tombstone closest to me. I smiled and walked over to him, I knew I should have been running away, a little voice in my head kept screaming to run and hide but I trusted it for some weird reason... I bent down to pet him and he licked my hand. I whispered something in his ear that sounded like a name. Then I said it louder... “Tyler”.

Chapter Two
Part I
Every time We Touch by Cascada
“Hey, get up.” Damon yelled looking down at me. The sun was up and peeking threw the windows making my eyelids pink.
“Got blood?” I asked opening one eye and smiling at him. He smiled back and held a big glass with the beautiful red liquid in it.
“Fresh even, got it from a wonderful girl who's going to college a couple town's over.” He smiled at me. I frowned right back, I hated taken blood from donor's that were compelled. Blood banks and willing donors were my style.
“I'm just kidding, don't worry this is from the local blood bank.” He added smiling.
“Much better thanks.” I grabbed the glass and sat up taking a sip.
“Now get ready you have school in 2 hours. Don't forget your wonderful necklace, no letting people know what you are besides Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy and Tyler. And be careful with Bonnie she's feisty.” He left my room.
I finished my glass of blood then went and picked out a cute outfit.

“Anyone make coffee?” I said running downstairs with my backpack. I curled my hair to look absolutely cute but not to curly to make me look like a poodle.
“Got it right here,” Stefan said holding out a portable mug for me, “We got to go Elena is coming to pick us up.” Stefan added.
“No that's cool I'll run.” I said shaking my head. I did not want to be stuck in a car with two love birds, it just wouldn't end well.
“Alright.” Stefan said giving me 'the look'. The look was him letting go of something but I knew he didn't like the idea, over the years Stefan and Damon learnt to pick there battles when it came to me.
“I'm actually going to head there now so I can get used to it.” I said then I was gone. I loved my brothers but I knew they were going to make a big deal about me going off to school for the first time in like 70 years. They were weird that way.
It didn't take long to get to the High School, so I brushed down my hair and walked down the sidewalk towards the office. I could feel everyone’s eyes on me, being the new kid was hard enough but being a vampire made us beautiful so I always drew eyes towards me.
Fortunately I got to the office without anyone trying to stop me or any whistling, I had called the High School last week and everything was set I just needed to get my class schedule.
“Hello, I'm Clara Salvatore.” I said to the secretary behind the desk. She was a plump lady with dark hair that was starting to gray, her face showed obvious signs of aging but her heartbeat underneath the thin skin in her neck was pumping wonderfully, nice and healthy.
I shook my head, I didn't have enough blood this morning for this. I took a sip of the coffee and tasted blood in it, Stefan must have known that I would have this problem. I had to remember to thank him later.
“Oh right, you called last week. Well it seems like everything is here, here is your class schedule and your school map. Good luck dear and if you need any help you can just come here and ask.” She said sweetly, I grabbed the papers and thanked her and left.
I looked down at my sheets and then I ran into someone. “Awe, damn it. I'm sorry.” I said bending down to help them with there books.
I looked up and saw a girl with black curly hair and dark skin. She was Elena's friend Bonnie, the witch.
“You must be Bonnie Bennett. I'm Clara Salvatore, the best of the three.” I said holding my hand out for her to take, I knew she would be able to tell what I was from touching. She would also know that I didn't come in any harm like Damon.
“Oh, I didn't know Stefan had a sister?” She said taking my hand. Her face went blank then she let go and smiled at me. This smile was genuine.
“He doesn't like bragging about me, he gets embarrassed to admit that there's a better sibling.” I smiled back at her. She looked a lot like Emily.
“Well then you must be a saint.” She said lifting an eyebrow.
“Only a little, I got it on my moms side.” I said laughing. Wow I already liked Bonnie and Elena.
“So your just like them? You know a-” She put her fingers in front of her mouth and made fake fangs.
I laughed like crazy, “Yeah I'm one of those, I don't like animals like Stefan, but I don't take humans like Damon. I drink blood bags and sometimes I get a boyfriend who knows and he offers every now and then.” I let her know.
“Well that's good at least I don't have to give you the whole 'if you kill, I burn you' speech.” She said winking.
“Let me guess, Damon?”I asked.
“Yeah. Uh, well I got to go. I'll see you at lunch ok? Bye.” She said running off with a wave and smile. I waved back then went to find my first class.
It wasn't that hard to find, I was there before the teacher even. I sat down and started doodling in my notebook, I drew a raven. I love drawing, Stefan had his writing and Damon had his, well his charm and good looks. We were all special, I think it came from my mom's side. Since there was nothing special about my dad.
“Hello, you must be Clara Salvatore.” A boy sat down beside me on the lab table. My first class was science. This boy was tall with dark hair with dark brown eyes. His eyes swam with mystery and curiosity. He was so a werewolf.
“And you must be Tyler Lockwood, of the famous Lockwood family.” I said smiling, he was smiling to. It reminded me almost how Damon smiled at Katherine before everything happened. It was sweet and curious, with a hint of something else.
“Yeah, so you know everything right? Like what I am, since I know what you are its only fair.” He added teasingly.
“How did you know who I am? I just got in last night?” I asked putting my pen down and turning in my seat to look at him full on.
“Stefan called Caroline to let her know not to freak out if she smelt you and she called me to let me know just because.” He said shrugging his broad shoulders. He was very handsome, and so far very cute.
“Oh Caroline's your girlfriend?” I asked then I realized it wasn't any of my business anyway, “I'm sorry! My brothers say I'm to nosy for my own good. You know the whole curiosity killed the cat thing. Yeah, I'm sorry that really wasn't any of my business and now I'm blabbering, I really am sorry.” I said practically in one breathe.
“Hey, relax its cool. No Caroline is not my girlfriend, she's just a good friend. And it's ok you're not being nosy.” He said leaning in closer to me. I could smell the faint woodsy aroma that came with all werewolves, and I could smell his Axe. He was wearing just the right amount, not to much that it smelt like he bathed in it but just enough that you could smell it faintly. I leaned in even closer trying to get a better smell, or maybe he was just pulling me in with those deep brown eyes that just screamed mystery and compassion.
“We're starting to draw attention.” He said, we were only a 2 inches apart. I could feel his warm breath on face. I blinked, I couldn't understand what he was saying for a minute until I could compose myself, his smell and his breathe was so intoxicating.
I looked from his face and saw that the classroom had about 5 more people in it, 4 of those 5 were looking at us straight on but the 5th was trying to hide it a bit, but she wasn't doing very well.
“See I told you so.” Tyler said whispering in my ear. His breathe tickled my neck and it made me shiver. I looked at the clock and saw that there was still 15 minutes till class started.
I turned my head to make a smart remark but I misjudged how close Tyler was and when I turned my head and our lips connected. It wasn't like this was my first kiss but this was different, it was like an electrocution going though me. Neither one of us pulled away, Tyler actually leaned in closer to me. One hand went to my thigh and the other went to my face. His hand was soft and warm, his thumb stroked my cheek bone. His lips were soft but firm, they took control of mine. I grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him closer then I pushed him away until our foreheads were touching.
“I don't know you.” I stated opening my eyes and pulling away and leaning against my chair.
“But I think we should get to know each other, you know after that.” Tyler answered. His cheeks were tinted with a slight blush and his breathing was a little ragged.
“Well that all depends on you.” I said smiling, I turned and saw that it didn't look like anyone had noticed our little exchange. Everyone was in there own little groups whispering now.
“Alright, would you like to go out for supper with me tomorrow?” He asked putting his chin in his hand looking me deep in the eyes.
“Well, I don't know, it's such short notice and all.” I said pretending to have to think it over.
“Awe, come on please?” He said pretending to beg. His hands closed together like a praying motion and his eyes went all pleading.
“Sure sounds fun. As long as the foods good, whats your plan?” I asked rolling my eyes.
“Well there is this fancy place just outside of town, they ha-.” I cut him off with my hand going up in the air.
“I said food, not crumbs. How about The Grill? I know they got good burgers and fries, oh and they have beer. How's that sound?”
“Damn, your my dream girl!” He said his mouth hanging open slightly.
“What?”
“If I would have offered to bring any other girl to a fancy restaurant she would have jump to the occasion. But you want to down size it to burgers and bottled beer? I want to marry you now.” He said chuckling.
“Funny.”
“How old are you?” Tyler asked.
“That all depends on how you count it?” I said raising an eyebrow.
“How old were you when you were changed?”
“17.”
“How was your life back then?”
“Well when my brothers were changed they were in love with Katherine then when I was changed I was actually a couple weeks away from getting married. Arranged marriage.” I said thinking back to Isaiah. I shuddered remember how much of a butt he was.
“Oh, were you in love with him?” Tyler asked, worry filled his eyes. It made me feel so wonderful to know that the fact that I might have been in love with someone bugged him.
“Yeah right, like I said it was an arranged marriage and he was a horrible man to me, abusive, controlling, and lots of other stuff.” I said bringing my legs up to my chest. Ever since I was little that was my of protecting myself, it made me feel safe and invulnerable.
“Oh, I'm sorry. That must have been horrible...” He said leaning in closer to me, I wanted to close the distance and kiss him again but I knew I needed to get to know him better first. I wanted to be able to know the man behind those eyes and I wanted to hear his story coming from those warm soft lips.
“I've gotten used to it. Everyone thought I ran off with another man and no one heard from me again.” I said wrapping my arms around my legs and shrugging my shoulders.
“Class calm down please,” The teacher said walking into the class room, “Yes, I know I'm normally your history teacher but Ms. Coleman is sick so here I am.” The teacher was tall with light brown hair, he had some stubble but besides that he was clean. His hair combed but not to neat and he was dressed casually. I could smell the vervain coming off of him, it made me light headed and dizzy. My body wobbled slightly on my chair, if I had to sit in this class for 75 minutes I was going to be sick.
Tyler leaned in closer and pulled my chair right against his. I could smell him better so I focused on that. I looked at him and he smiled.
“Tyler may you introduce me to the new student?” The teacher said looking at us expectantly.
“Sure Mr. S... This is Clara Salvatore, Stefan's younger sister.” Tyler said emphasizing on the Salvatore part.
“Oh right, they said something about you coming. I am Mr. Alaric Salztman.” He said nodding his head. He was looking at Tyler and I with suspicion. I smiled at him sweetly and then leaned back in my seat. I let go of my legs and put them down on the seat bar. I took another deep breathe filling my lungs with the aroma of Tyler Lockwood then I pretended to listen in class. I have finished University twice already so I knew everything he was teaching. I thought that High School was going to be boring, but maybe just maybe it would be better than I thought.

Chapter Two Part II
“So how's the first day of school?” Elena asked me while we were in the lunch line. I put large fries, a vanilla milkshake and a double chocolate brownie on my tray then went to pay with Elena following me close behind with her salad. One of the bonuses of being a vampire, you didn't have to watch your weight.
“Pretty good, although Mr. S has to cut down on the vervain collone, but still pretty good.” I said smiling to myself, after Science class Tyler actually carried my books for me to my next class then he ran to his. When 2nd period ended I walked out the door to find Tyler standing there waiting, I have no idea how he got from his 2nd period class which was all the way across the school to my class is beyond me, but there he was waiting to carry my books to my locker then he walked me to the Cafeteria. We did agree though that we wouldn't tell my brothers about the date since I'm pretty sure that they would spike his drink with Wolfsbaine and lock him in our basement.
“You and Tyler seem to be getting along.” Elena said looking at me, lifting one eyebrow. I looked over at my table, Elena's friends Bonnie and Caroline were sitting there along with Tyler and Stefan.
“Tyler's cool. We're hanging out tomorrow.” I said smiling back at Elena. I put my finger to my lips and pointed, subtly, to Stefan. Elena winked at me and smiled.
“Have fun, Stefan's coming over to my house for dinner and a movie.” She said dropping the hint that I was safe.
Elena and I walked to our table and I sat between Tyler and Bonnie. I took a big drink of my milkshake but almost choked on it when Tyler's hand made its way to my knee. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow but he just smiled and didn't move his hand.
“So Clara, its nice to meet another girl vampire besides the homicidal ones.” Caroline said smiling. No one was in hearing distance of us so we were free to talk about whatever we wanted.
“Yeah, and you get used to everything after awhile. But remember, you can never get knocked up, and you can eat anything you want and not gain a pound.” I said taking a bite of my brownie to prove a point.
“Yeah that looks good, I'll be right back.” Caroline said getting up and practically running to the lunch line.
“Mind if I take one?” Tyler said reaching over with his hand that wasn't on my knee and trying to take a fry. I hit his hand away and fake snarled.
“No one touches my food.” I growled eying him down. He took his hand away then it darted back and grabbed a fry just in time to avoid my hand trying to hit him again.
“You two are pretty friendly?” Stefan said eying us down from across the table.
“Stefan, we're like awesome friends now.” I said laughing slightly. I felt Tyler squeeze my knee and he nodded to Stefan.
“Are you sure? It seems like you guys are closer then friends. Is there something I should know?” Stefan said frowning. Man I swear he can read minds sometimes.
“Stefan, there is nothing going on?” I said rolling my eyes at him.
“Actually Stefan that's a lie. I am asking your permission to take your sister out on a date tomorrow evening?” Tyler said completely straight faced and serious. I gasped and my mouth fell open as I turned to look at Tyler. He was completely calm and telling the truth.
“You idiot! What'd you do that for!?!” I said hitting him on the arm over and over again. Tyler grabbed my hands and held them still.
“So Stefan... What's your answer?” Tyler said ignoring my curses and struggles. Normally I could have gotten out of his grasp quickly but he was a werewolf and from my guess he had been strong even before the change so it was a little hard.
“Well, I guess that sounds ok. But why did you ask me?” Stefan said, he looked a little shocked.
“Because from yours and Clara's time period it was appropriate to ask the father permission for a date but since he isn't around I ask the next best thing. The older brother.” Tyler said shrugging his shoulders and letting go of my hands. I slumped into my chair and crossed my arms.
“Awe, whats wrong? That was romantic!” Bonnie said in a cute little voice.
“Yeah yeah, Tyler's cute and romantic. But Clara what are you going to wear? Where is he taking you?” Elena asked.
“Jeans and a cute shirt and we're going to The Grill... Burgers, fries, beer and pool.” I said shrugging.
“I offered that fancy place on Hillside road but she said she wanted to go to The Grill.” Tyler said leaning back and putting his arm around my chair. His thumb was by my shoulder blade so he started stoking it.
“Yeah that's my Clara.” Stefan said shaking his head.
“What'd I miss?” Caroline said coming back from the lunch line with a brownie. I ate some more fries while Stefan and Tyler filled her in.
“Ohmygod! That's wonderful!” She said getting all excited.
“At least come over to my house so I can do your hair, please?” Elena smiled.
“Guys we're just going for dinner at The Grill, not prom.” I pointed out.
Tyler leaned in so he was close to my ear, “Just go to there house. I'll pick you up there and then we'll go.” His breath tickled my cheek.
“Fine, but just to do my hair.” I said rolling my eyes. Tyler had me around his little finger and I would do anything for him and he didn't even know it.
I grabbed my milkshake and took another big gulp then I finished the last of my fries. Class was going to start soon and I had Gym next, even though I was a girl I still loved Gym. It helps you get rid of all the extra energy that builds up.
“Clara you can finally meet my brother. His next class is Gym too.” Elena said smiling. She curled herself under Stefan's arms like a little child.
“Cool, sounds fun.” I said smiling. I didn't really care if I met her brother or not. I was happy just as I was right now. I grabbed my brownie then took a couple more bites then handed it to Tyler. He finished it off in one huge bite. Werewolves can eat like crazy and it just turns to muscle, lucky butts.
“Well I'm going to go get changed. See you guys after school.” I said standing up and grabbing my bag.
“I'll walk you.” Tyler said standing up and grabbing my bag from me and putting his hand on my lower back leading me to the doors.
“I can't believe you did that to me.” I groaned as we walked to my locker.
“He didn't freak out did he?” He asked.
“Yeah yeah whatever.” I groaned. I walked to my locker and opened it easily. Tyler handed me my bag and I put my Gym cloths in it. I also put my perfume and hair brush in it.
“Come on, I'll walk you to class.” He laughed and he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the Gym.
