'Twilight' Breaking Dawn: Fans want R-Rating so characters can cuddleplus more - Details

April 14, 2010 01:42 PM EDT (Updated: April 15, 2010 03:11 AM EDT)

Fans of Twilight 'Breaking Dawn' are trying hard to convince the powers that be to do more for the next upcoming movies of the Twilight Saga. Twilight Breaking Dawn, one of the more intense stories of the series is far more intimate and fans want to see it on the silver screen. Putting together a petition, the fans are encouraging the Summit Media to get on the ball and mirror the book so that it is far more factual.

This sounds odd as the majority of the people watching this film have never read any of the books. Also it is obvious that if there was a R-Rating, half of the audience would need to drag their parents along to the theater to watch the movie with them. The demographics of the film is such that the tweens and teens like going with their girlfriends to check out the film.

Another major detail making the films  PG-13 is from the author herself, Ms. Meyer who made sure that the audience was seeing appropriate images by putting it in her contract. This stipulation will be honored at all costs as the movie is so successful.

Apantly its going to be a 15
if it is going to be in 2012 it is ok rated r because in my counry means under 15:)) and i'll have 16:)) so...but i like that romantic scens that we've seen it the others movies too that is more beauty than the sex scens:) and i preffer to see a pg-13 movie than a rated R
I have a feeling they are really going to screw up this movie!!!!!! There are soooo many important details in the book that they are just not going to be able to show if they want to keep it PG13!!! I can understand the entire love scene they won't show because we obviously didn't get any details in the book, but how are they going to show Renesme being born??? Just all of a sudden she'll appear?? I guess we'll all have to be patient and see how it turns out!
ii REALLY HOPE THE DiiRECTOR
JUST DiiRECTz CORRECTLY AND
THEY STAY AS CLOSE TO THE
BOOK AS THEY CAN WiiTH A
RATiiN LiiKE THAT! ;-D
I know.....I guess we'll have to see how close they get to the book with Eclipse before we can make a judgement call on Breaking Dawn...but if we go off the first two movies we can see how they tend to go away from the books! I mean in New Moon they made it seem like Bella was already in Love with Jacob and we all know that was not true!!! Hmmm...June can't get here fast enough!!!
TRUE BUT YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER
THEY USE DiiFFRENT DiiRECTORz FOR
EACH MOViiE. AND THE ONE DOiiN OR
"iiN NEGOTCiiATiiON" OF DiiRECTiiN BD
HAS DONE VERY WELL WiiTH OTHER
FiiLMz. HE ALSO WAS NOMiiNATED
AND WON SEVERAL AWARDz AT 13
DiiFFRENT CEROMONiiEz. SO FROM
ALL THAT, LOL ii THiiNK HE MiiGHT BE
A GOOD DiiRECTOR. BUT WELL JUST
HAVE TO WAiiT AND SEE ;-D
yea, considering the rating i really hope they stick to the book as well.
I personally would just want to see as much of the book I read & fell in love with on the big screen as I can. I 1st read the saga after seeing Twilight and was very upset that so much of the book was not included and that scences were rearranged or deleted but I still lovvvvvvveeeeeddddd the movie. New Moon had wayyyyy more of the book in it and I lovvvvvvvveeeeeedddd that too I really dont care if its PG-13 or RatedR but thats because I can see an R rated flim but for all the people who would have to go through soo much hassle to just see a movie they love'd and supported from day 1 I really rather it be PG-13 no other way would be right to the FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
surely it doesnt matter wat tha ratin is, as long as they stick close to tha book- thats tha important thing right? but then again...i guess ur right that parents wouldnt let their kids see ans r rated movie.
in my opinion, i think they should hav it r rated, cause how else are they going to do the birth scene? but thats just my opinion, and no one has to listen to it.

does anyone think it REALLY matters wat the ratin is? tell me the reason for your answer pleze
although I like the innocense of bella and edward's relationsship with twilight, new moon and eclipse, I am hoping that an R rated movie ( breaking dawn)would finally show them grown up and over the highschool flirty mess and give the fans a taste of how real this life of edward and bella's has developed. into maturity.
ii AGREE ;-D
Well for those who have read the books...Stephenie was very PG-13 in the book so I think it should reflect her own writing and now what everyone else wants...why change it more than it's already going to be changed...if people want sex...watch a porno
