Um... that's a tough one. I was first going to say that the guy that played Edward in Vampires Suck would be a good choice.

But if I had to choose I'd have to say either Chad Michael Murray (btw, TOTAL hottie!) or Josh Hartnett because I think both of them could've played Edward and pull off the look.

Just saying here, you know voicing my opinion, but Robert isn't the perfect Edward. I think they could've found someone better. I liked him a lot more in the fourth Harry Potter. He was in his element there and he seemed more real; not like in Twilight where he's wearing all that make-up. Although I have to admit he does a good job hiding his accent.

but the guy who played who played titanic would be a perfect ed!

and nina ,the girl who is elena in the vampire diares would be a perfect bella!

ahaa my dream actors! too bad they didnt ask me to cast!:(

Okay, so I'm sorry, but I find it difficult to pick from these people >.< I guess Jackson Rathbone would be okay... But I think either Shiloh Fernandez or Josh Duhamel would've done a good job. Maybe not so much Josh Duhamel, 'cause he's a bit older, but...
