Hi sis Ruth,

How are you doing with your college classes? Are they going well for you? I just came back from having book club with my ladies from church. We read and discussed a book called The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper. It is a very old book. One of my lady friend's favorite. It is about the difference between the darkness and the light. The main character is a boy named Will Straton, he is eleven years old. He has find out that he has amazing powers. He is descended from "the Old Ones" from Celtic and Norse Mythology before Christainity was introduced. Basically Will has to learn to be careful when using his magic because anyone who is of the darkness can really make him sip up. The differience between Will and Merlin is that Merlin was a little older than Will when he started using his powers. Merlin was a lot more experienced than Will. Merlin was always careful, well almost careful. During that time in Camelot Arthur Pendragon's father King Uther Pendragon banished all magic from Camelot, and anyone in King Uther's kingdom was caught using magic they were soreverely punished. Well, anyway Ruth I just thought that was interesting paraell between two different characters. My ladies and I in my book club at church are now reading Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki. Looking forward to reading it. The other day my family and I went to The Will Rogers State Park. It was a lot of fun. We saw his house. We even got to see the big field were people come and see other people play Polo with their horses. The park rangers told us that people come every weekend to play Polo. They said that it is a lot of fun to watch. Well, sis I hope you are doing well. I love you so much sis. Have a wonderful week and weekend. Talk to ya real soon. Heather. P.S. You are still in my prayers honey. is there anything i can do? I have been so busy fixing the first book I am going crazy. I am at twelve for fix but printing then reading and possible rewrite what i already have done. By the way sis (maria) i have also changed the dedication. You will like along with our other two sis's.

To my Team Edward........sorry again for my absence with our countdown.........Hurricane Issac did his damage here but thank God in my area it was not as severe as it hit along my coast of my state.........plus Friday I received upsetting news that has left me feeling numb and empty inside.......on top of all of that I just enrolled in another online Master Degree program so I have been trying to concentrate on school and catch up with my assignments from last week with the hurricane........keep me in your prayers.......
