I LOVED THE MOVIE!
Seen as I couldnt get to Sydney or Brisbane to watch the premier, I made my hubby watch all the DVDs in the days leading up to the release & then he took me to the local cinema to see it!
I think he liked as he was asking questions afterwards to get a better understanding of it all :)
Wowsers - it seems TTS has been going off like a frog in a sock..... a dead frog that is.
Bianca - good to see you again - it seems that no one is around....
Carolyn - you know my opinion on it all and I can't be bothered typing it all out - but basically, yes, I agree. But it was mentioned somewhere that there are multiple places they stash clothes.
Hello Geoff.. I am sure we all remember you, but we are rarely around here anymore
I wonder how many people around here will remember me?
Yes, I agree.
I guess we will see and learn a lot more about imprinting in Part 2. The specicial effects team did a fantasic job creating an older Renessme. Those wolf voices were plain starge and a big blunder.. I could not stop laughing. It sounded like Transformers or something. Plain strange...
Yes, the chaning appearances are a little worrying. They did look the best in Twilight, the looked the most like vampires, and the least pasty... But yes, they still look great in every film.
I think they really did a fanastic job, everyone involed. Breaking Dawn was a full on and chaotic book to read, and we can only imagine what it would be like to convert such a complicated book to film. They nailed it.
where is everyone???
Breaking Dawn was such a intesne book and I think they did a great job in portraying as much as they could in part one, im just happy that they didnt 'ruin' it, i think it could have been really bad but thankfully it wasnt! They managed to get all of the key scenes in and still make it understanble for those who are unfortuante and havent read any of the books, they could still follow.... I think maybe they could have slightly elaborated a bit more when Jacob was imprinting on renesme and that the wolfs voices were a bit 'bizare' but other than that no complaints here! It also would have been good to see a bit more of Bella as a vampire too...
I still think that Catherine Hardwicke should have had some form of involvment in all of the movies, the way the characters look in Twilight is exactly as you imagine reading about them, they look great still now but nothing beats seeing Edward walk past the window in twilight and getting those tingles and wow factor! I think the cullens look slightly 'off' a massive difference from twilight, I would have liked them to look the same throughout all of the movies but other than that im just glad it was a success and not a failure!
Thanks, I agree with you too. Don't worry about missing the scene in the credits. It wasn't very fundamental, just exhibited the Volturi's interest in power over the Cullens, intertwined with their low value for human life, really only for non-readers of the saga :)I just realised they never showed any of the mornings on Isle Esme where Edward cooks Bella delicious breakfasts. Of the very few things the did not include in the film, do you wish they put a certain thing?
Jess, think u pretty much nailed it! I was beginging to think that maybe it wasnt going to meet all expectations but it did and then some! Didnt stay till the end of the credits but heard about it! ughhh cant wait too see it again and to watch the end of the credits!!! Still completely mesmerized!
I just woke up after 4 hours of sleep after he midnight premier of Breaking Dawn part 1.
With out giving to much away... It drove me to the point of speechlessness, sitting on the edge of my seat, made me shed tears of the happiest joy and tears of the saddest sorrow. By then end of it I, and everyone else in the audience was a literal emotional mess. I could have fainted (how pathetic) , one of my friends was screaming and the other speechless, all of us just plain shocked.
Towards the middle, I was unsure if I liked it, not sure why though, but by the end..that totally changed.
They portrayed the book really well, adding, adjusting or skipping necessary parts and there were many lines from the book. The acting again kicked up a notch and was excellent as all ways, music was fantastic as always, with a few returns of previous soundtrack songs. Some additional scenes were a bit cringe worthy... But still it was beautiful, enthralling, emotional, hectic, triumphant, romatic, stressfull, joyfull, moving... the list goes on!
All the characters really blomssomed in the film. Edward and Bella's transformation in to adults was prefectly executed by Kristen and Rob. And taylor was on fire to. Not one actor let the film down.
The wedding was unforgetablem, momumental and beautiful. The birth sceen was an emotive "rush". Isel Esme was romantic, passionate, funny, real, sexy and releiveing to finnaly see E and B together.
It was strange but relaving in away, as all the other films have been about Bella and Edward wil be together or not. And finally they are, so it was weired when there was other storylines.
Remember, stay until the end of the credits... there may possibly another scene at the end *wink wink*
The crew chose the perfect place to devide the film.
Oh, there is sooo much I could say, but I would give it all away!
I really commend all the cast and crews devoted work and thank them very much for delieveirng us with such a fantastic masterpiece.
I am still in shock. I don't know what to think! It was manic! Thank the gods of literature that they spilt it in to two films.
What did everyone else think?
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh
hope everyone is well!!!! xxx
