The Twilight Saga

I don't know if this is really going to be any good, this is my first time actually taking Stephenie Meyer's characters and settings to make a book, so it might just really be a catastrophe, but that's why there's you guys, right? P.S. This is also located in the FanFic group!

Chapter One

I laid the book down on the green grass next to me as the wind lifted my brown curls. I watched the sun go down under the crashing ocean infront of me. The orange light reflected off the water, giving the ocean the look of orange juice. Tears rolled down my cheeks, this was not fair. Bitterly, I stood up, picking up my book. I ran to Jacob Black's house. He had always been there for me, even I was born, he was there. I stepped up to his window and tapped it lightly. He head popped out almost instantly, alert for the trespasser. When he looked down at me, his face turned to immediate joy, but then concern as he saw the tracks that the tears had left on me.

He jumped down and took my face in his hands. "Nessie, what's wrong?" He asked.

"You mean you haven't heard yet?" I wiped the wet trails off my face and looked at the ground sadly.

"Heard what? Nessie, what's happened?"

It was typical for my parents to leave things like this out with Jake, and I hated it because I almost always ended up as the one telling him. "We're leaving...." I told him gravely.

His expression changed to surprise and sorrow. "But-"

"We've only been here this long because of me, I'm guilty. Jake, I'm so sorry." The tears came back, flooding my face with salty water.

He held me, letting me soak his bare shoulder. "It's not your fault,"

"B-b-but it is! I'm so selfish! I c-c-can't even bear to look at m-m-myself in the mirror!"

"Your just like your mother," Jake said, pushing me away so he could look into my brown eyes. "You and her are the most selfless people I know, don't forget that."

I didn't answer, I just stood there crying. "I'm such a crybaby."

"Stop it, Nessie. You're beating yourself up, and I won't take it any longer." He brushed my hair out of my face and mopped my tears up with a peice of cloth. "You are wonderful,"

I creased my forehead and shook my head. "No, I'm a monster." I didn't wait for a response, I ran off quickly into the woods that surrounded Forks. I arrived a few minutes later at the little cottage that was my home... 'till the next day when I would be leaving. I stomped through the door into the house and flung myself onto the floor, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Bella? Is that you?" I heard his footsteps come down the hall. "Nessie? What's wrong, princess?" My father's voice asked.

I got up off the ground and faced him. "You always make me tell Jacob the things I wish never would happen!" I quickly went to my room and slammed the door, letting my anger out. I sat and my bed and screamed into the pillow. The door opened and the wieght on the bed shifted. Musculer arms wrapped around me and pulled me close. "I'm sorry I got so mad, dad."

"It's understandable. So, you told him we were leaving?" I nodded. "Where we were going?" I shook my head. "Well, darling, why not?"

"It was hard enough telling him we were leaving in the first place."

"Ah, I see. Would you like me to?" I nodded. "I'll be back in maybe a half an hour." He dissapeared and I was left to cry my heart out.

The door to the cottage opened and lighted footsteps stepped on the wooden floor towards my room. The door opened to reveal Aunt Alice, her pixie face full of concern for me.

"Hey, girlfriend... You might be like your mother, but then again you might not be, but do you want to go shopping? Anything you want?"

"What was my mother's answer when this happened?"

"Almost always a no."

"I am my mother." All the tears that could've come out had already and I realized it was only taking away my strength to do anything else.

Alice giggled and flashed her bright smile at me. I placed my hand on her's and showed her the scene with Jake. "Oh," She said.

"I was a bit overeactive... wasn't I?" I felt like crying again, my voice was wavering, but I didn't, I couldn't.

She sat down on my bed, not knowing what to say. The front door opened again, more light footsteps, and my mother stepped into the room.

"Oh, dear." She said, seeing our expressions. She rushed to my side and held me in her arms. I showed her the same thing I showed Alice. As I did, Alice quietly left.

"He hates me now."

"He could never hate you, for reasons only he can explain to you." She said, hushing me.

I sniffed, refusing to let my eyes even water. I got up and walked to my door. "I'm going to grandpa and grandma's house...." I said before I opened it.

"Go ahead, I'll be right behind you."

I ran to the river that divided our lots and ran to the white house that laid across the feild. I arrived there shortly and rang the doorbell. Grandfather opened it, and with him a man with a black cloak on.
