You don't have to watch the show to join because we are not following their plots.  If you really want to know more about your character however, I will be including the link to that characters page on the Degrassi Wikia site(I highly encourage you to read this because they are very quick and accurate)  If you have any questions about your character please feel free to ask me:).  I'm also accepting original characters.  (Preferably Juniors because their aren't many)

Mike "Dallas" Dallas : Karina (Me)

Senior

Captain of the hockey team, Dallas plays hard and parties harder. Admired by almost everyone in his life, he's never had to deal with real consequences for any of his actions. Dallas acts like a big brother to his teammates, teasing and mocking the boys in the locker room, but ready to lash out at anyone who crosses him or his team.  He always gives a 110% percent of his energy, wether it be trying to get a girl, or playing hockey.  He doesn't take no for an answer when he wants something and proves to be very charming and supportive once you get to know him.  Dallas knows that people think he is a jerk, and although he would never admit it, he really does care.

Campbell "Cam" Saunders: Homeland

Freshmen

A rising star on Degrassi's hockey team, Cam is handsome and athletic. Unlike his outgoing teammates, he's also shy, quiet, and homesick. He suffers fromstress/anxiety issues, loneliness, depression, and an apparent psychological disorder of some sort.  Being romantically awkward, he doesn't get the courage to talk to many girls unless they approach him first.  When he does open up and become romantically involved with a girl, he is loyal, protective, and caring.  He is currently dating Maya Matlin

Becky Baker: Love Xavier

Becky is bright, bubbly, and enthusiastic. Raised a conservative Christian, Becky always puts family first. Her family moved to Canada so her brother, Luke, could play hockey. Becky isn't afraid to stand up for her traditional values and let her opinions be known. She has recently started dating Adam Torres.  She knows now that he is transgender, which completely goes against her beliefs, but she is too in love to care.

Tori's used to getting what she wants. She's spoiled, but she's not really a "brat" -- her positive attitude and winning smile rub off on nearly everyone she meets.  Although she sometimes lets the desire for things she wants cloud her judgement, she is level headed and loyal for the most part.  Tori loves singing and theater.  Its no secret that she likes to be the center of attention, along with her best friend Trisitn.  She is currently dating Zig Novak

Zig is handsome, charming, and obsessed with skateboarding. He finds himself in detention on a regular basis, but he can usually talk his way out of trouble.  He is very ashamed of the fact that his family doesn't make a lot of money, but doesn't talk to anyone about it.  Although he is dating Tori Santamaria, he secretly has a crush on one of her close friends, Maya Matlin.

Maya has grown up in the shadow of her older sister, Katie, but she's determined to carve out an identity of her own at Degrassi. A talented cellist, Maya is always searching for new ways to express herself.  Although she acts like appearance doesn't matter to her, she sometimes feels like a little girl compared to her best friend Tori, and other girls because of the way she dresses.  She is currently dating Cam Saunders.  Maya is selfless and always puts friends and family before herself.  She cares to much about other peoples feelings.

Out and proud, Tristan isn't going to let anyone intimidate him. Tristan has big ambitions at Degrassi and starring in the musical was just the first step. He is fiercely loyal, especially to his best friends, Tori and Maya.  He is confident, but does realize what others think of him being gay, especially his manly, straight older brother Owen.

Imogen Moreno: Open

Never content with blending in, Imogen cultivates a unique persona. Quirky and expressive, she gets a kick out of confounding those around her. She was never very close to her mother, but adores her father.  Not long ago, Imogen's father developed early dementia, forcing her to live and reconnect with her mother. Upon becoming friends with Fiona Coyne, she realized the feelings were deeper.  She soon realized that she was a lesbian and has been dating Fiona  ever since.

Marisol Lewis: Open

Power Squadder and Little Miss Steaks waitress Marisol has simple tastes: fun times, good music, and hot guys. She has been best friends (and occasional frienemies) with Katie for years.  Although she can come off as rude and snobby, she is very caring and kind hearted.  Don't let her sweet smile and small frame fool you.  She is as fiesty as they come and not afraid to stand up for herself or her friends.

Formerly known as Degrassi's toughest over-achiever, Katie's world fell apart after a serious soccer injury left her addicted to painkillers. After rehab and recovering from a bad break up, she's ready to redefine herself at Degrassi.  She has learned to let go a little and have some fun.  Katie is currently dating Jake Martin.  Katie is best friends with Marisol Lewis and the older sister of Maya Matlin

Andrew "Drew" Torres: Love Xavier

After dropping out of Degrassi due to a brain injury, Drew was eager to find his place in the real world. Sick of his moms constant control, he moved out and became Fiona Coyne's roomate.  He even went as far as asking his girlfriend Bianca to marry him.  She accepted and the pair are now happily engaged.  Drew, realizing his mistake of dropping out has decided to return to Degrassi, but refuses to call of the engagement to Bianca despite his mothers warnings that they are too young.  School has never been easy for Drew.  He sometimes feels stupid and not motivated to get work done because he doesn't believe in himself.

From the girl who wore a school uniform before they were required to the girl who's dated Degrassi's biggest heartthrobs, Clare has come a long way. Though she's still a serious person and intent on succeeding in life, she's learned to let down her hair -- figuratively and literally.  She is currently dating Eli Goldsworthy and dreams of a successful and exciting career in journalism.

A Female to Male transgender teen who transferred (with his older step-brother Drew) to Degrassi to escape problems at his old school, Adam is finding it easier to be himself and be accepted by his peers. He's famous for his quick wit, his guts, and his fierce loyalty to his friends. Adam used to hide the fact that he is transgender, but is more confident and willing to share is story than ever.  He is currently dating Becky Baker, and is willing to ignore the obvious disapproval of their relationship from her parents to be with her.

Eli is intelligent, opinionated, voluntarily "different", and always at the ready with a well-crafted snarky comment. Passionate about film and theater, Eli can be unpredictable at times, but he's sure about one thing -- he wants to move to New York City after graduation.  Raised by parents who never really set any rules, he feels that he is free to do what he wants and doesn't apologize for his opinions.  He is currently dating Clare Edwards.

At first, Alli's goals were to stand out, get noticed, and rebel against her conservative parents. After some life-changing experiences, she turned over a new leaf.  She found that when she really applied herself in school, she was an exceptional student, far ahead of her classmates.  Ally is a gifted chemist and hopes to pursue it someday.  Although she swore off boys to stay out of trouble and focus on school, she found that this task was much easier said than done and still has the occasional flings with Degrassi guys.

Dave Turner: Open

Dave is a charmer, a joker, and a kick-ass dancer. He hates blending in the with crowd -- or with his geekier friends -- so he works hard to develop a suave, self-confident image.  Its kind of hard for the "cool kids" to trust him, being the son of a police officer.  He has been called a nark in the past because of his fathers job.  Dave tries to act a lot tougher than he is, but has good intentions and a good heart.  You can always count on Dave to pick you up when you are down.

After years of having everything handed to her, Fiona has developed expensive taste. Now that her family's money is gone, she's facing the harsh realities of life without a trust fund -- and with Drew as a roommate.  After several bad relationships, including a brief but violent episode with her ex Bobby, Fiona came to the realization that she was a lesbian.  After telling Imogen that she had feelings for her, the two began dating.  Fiona is known for her extravagant parties.

Bianca De Sousa: Karina (Me)

Bianca was stuck in a downward spiral for a while, but with the help of Drew and his family, she's turned her life around.  She gave up a life of bullying, constant trouble at school, and selling drugs to get by.  After several break ups and make-ups with Drew, they are finally engaged and in a really good place.  Bianca is a lot smarter than she will admit and now knows what a bright future she has, thanks to the help of Drew's mother, who acted as a guide to her when she got herself into some trouble.  She is forever grateful to her but is deeply saddened that she doesn't approve of her and Drew getting married.

Jenna Middleton: Open

Jenna was outcasted after stealing Clare's first boyfriend KC.  The two dated for a very long time.  Jenna became pregnant and decided to keep the baby.  Parenthood proved to be much to hard for KC and Jenna.  Constant fighting and problems drove their little family apart.  After putting her baby up for adoption and breaking up with K.C., Jenna moved in with Alli's family. Jenna wants to forge a new path for herself, but are her boy-crazy ways gone for good?  Jenna is a singer snf hopes to become famous someday.

Connor is one of the smartest kids at Degrassi. He has Asperger's Syndrome, but he's not letting it hold him back. Social activities are more challenging for him than they are for other kids, but he's working hard to fit in.

Milan "Lani" Chamberlain

Junior

Milan just transfered to Degrassi all the way from California.  She is strikingly beautiful, but don't let the sweet looks fool you.  She is wild, fiesty, and somewhat arrogant.  Its not that she doesn't care about other people, she just mostly cares about having a good time and making the most out of a bad situation, even if that means getting into trouble.  She hates her new home so far and misses the nice weather and beaches back in California.  Any boy at her old school will tell you that winning her attention is not an easy task at all.  She expects any guy going after her to go all out.  While most would assume her move was something as simple as her parents jobs getting relocated, which she actually does use as her excuse, the real reason is something much darker and hard to talk about.

Sean carries himself with an air of superiority to those around him.  In other words... he is extremely cocky.  He is accustomed to getting whatever he wants.  He knows that he is attractive and charming and uses this to his advantage.  While most guys like to play sports, Sean spends his time primping to make his face look flawless, and shopping constantly for the newest clothes.  He has to always be one step ahead of everyone else.  Sean has no remorse about any of his actions.  Life is a game to him, and other people are just pieces in this game that he controls.  While some would like to believe their is some reason for his rude behavior and cocky attitude, like being bullied as a child,  Sean was basically just born this way, or so he believes.  His parents are never really around and don't set any rules.  They attempt to make up for their absense in their sons life by giving him everything he wants and letting him throw wild parties.
