Twilight Relation: Some of the kids are vampires and wolves.
What's better than being a wealthy teen in East Hampton? Being a wealthy teen in East Hampton during the summer. The kids at Everwood Prep are mere weeks from what will be one of the most glorious summers of their adolescents. After a long year of endless homework, late night cram sessions, and hard work, who wouldn't look forward to that.... well some of them worked hard. Others focused more on building their social circle, throwing lavish parties, and making a name for themselves as New York's elite. They don't plan on taking it easy and spending time with the family this summer, but instead to have the most over the top parties and be the most talked about person. Some do it for the popularity, others just to have a story to tell when they go back to school in the fall. One thing is for sure. With all of these clashing personalities and egos, this summer should be interesting.
Jesse "Jess" Joseph Alexander
Do I want to slap that smug little face, or kiss it? That's the question girls usually ask themselves when graced with Jesse's presence. He is every bit as cocky, flirtatious, and pretentious as he seems. Social status and money is absolutely everything to him. He must have the best of everything, and have it before everyone else as well; Girls, parties, cars. You name it, he's got it. The many women that have come into his life have tried to change him. They have all tried so desperately to search for the good, honest guy, they believe lives deep with in Jesse's heart. Sadly, they all soon realize that Jesse is what he is, and makes no apologies for it. He has remained every bit as cocky, persuasive, and dishonest as he has always been. Jesse secretly loves to play games. He loves nothing more than to make a girl believe that she is the one, and then crush her with the news that there was always another girl involved. He also takes great joy in purposely setting up drama and rumors, only to later kick back and watch his grand plans come to life. Basically, life is Jesse's game, and everyone who has the misfortune of knowing him, are the pieces. Even his closes friends are at times part of his little traps. The only person he would never deliberately hurt, is his younger sister Milan. He is currently "Dating" Ariella, the one girl he has ever been in love with. She recently told him herself that she only started dating him to make his best friend Julian jealous and he agreed to help her. Jesse acts like he doesn't care at all, but he is secretly still heart broken, which only fuels his need to hook up with as many girls as possible to make it seem like he doesn't care.
Milan "Lani" Megan Alexander
Impressionable, Naive, and attention seeking are three words that describe Milan. Popularity was almost expected of her because she is Jesse's younger sister. In other words, she had no trouble making friends. Like her brother, she only associates with people she feels are worthy of her time. To get into her social circle you must be a combination of rich, beautiful and skinny. This means the cheerleaders, models, and mean girls of the school. They sit around talking about boys, planning parties and trips, and most of all, making fun of everyone they consider beneath them. The saddest part is, Milan is actually a very nice girl. If she weren't so obsessed with staying popular, she would make friends with just about anyone. She is secretly very smart, free spirited, and adventurous. Milan is in love with her brothers best friend Julian, and has been since she was eight years old. He looks at her as more of a little sister, which adds to her need to become more grown up and popular. She is extremely jealous of all of the female attention he gets, but has never told a soul about her feelings for him. Milan's biggest fear is Julian finding out and it ruining the friendship they have. She would much rather have him in her life as a friend than not at all. Hoping to somehow spark jealousy, she had recently started flirting with Jesse and Julian's friend Sean, who his notorious for his long list of meaningless hook ups. She doesn't have feelings for him at all but is willing to do anything to get Julian's attention without having to tell him the truth. Her dream would be to have him chasing her instead of the other way around. To make matters worse, she knows that her friend Ariella is obsessed with Julian. She fears Ariella and knows that she would ruin her reputation if anything ever happened between them. Milan is often conflicted with the fact that she hides her sweet, caring personality, and disguises it with a rude, self centered girl.
Julian "Jay" Christopher King
Julian is one of Jesse's best friends, and probably one of the most laid back guys you will ever meet. As he has gotten older, Julian has grown to hate fake, stuck up people. He probably wouldn't even hang out with Jesse and Sean, the two most stuck up people in the world, if they hadn't been his only friends when he moved to New York in fifth grade. He even sometimes gets tired of their constant need to be the center of attention. Leaving a trail of jealousy and broken hearts is never his intention. He just doesn't like being tied down, and doesn't believe in labels. He is a sucker for a pretty girl but tries to get them to understand that they shouldn't fall in love with him. Julian never tried to hard to be popular or well liked by his peers. He is popular simply because he was born to a rich family, is handsome, knows how to have fun, and lives for parties. Truthfully, Julian is very down to earth and nonthreatening, unlike his friends. The money is honestly just a bonus. If someone took away his lavish lifestyle tomorrow, he would be just fine with his skateboard, guitar, friends, and the beach. His effortless charming and flirtatious personality practically pulls girls from the four corners of the earth. Its hard not to fall in love with his warm genuine smile. It takes a very special girl to really capture his heart though. They have to be easy going, willing to overlook his past ways, confident, and up for anything. He does have somewhat of a thing for Jesse''s younger sister Milan but dating his friends family members is a big no no in his book. It started as nothing more than a big brother, little sister relationship, but then everything began to change as they got older. Right around the time he began to have feelings for her, he shut that idea down because he knows that Jesse would never allow it. He has kid of settled for an endless line of meaningless hook ups to distract him for the girl he can never have. The one thing he dislikes about Milan is the fact that she pretends to be someone she is not. He knows the real her and prefers her when its just the two of them, and she acts like the girl he has known since he was ten and she was eight. Because he knows that the mean stuck up Milan is just a facade, he is willing to ignore the fact that she has become everything he hates in a girl. Lately he has been finding it harder to stop thinking about being with her, especially because of her constant flirting with Sean in front of him.
Ariella "Ari/Ariel" Jade Evans
Alix Winchester Cullen
How can someone so beautiful be so cruel and cold. Ariella is the undisputed queen of the school, or was until Milan came along. She loves being rich, attention, and boys. Her life is basically like a movie. She gets absolutely anything she wants without question, but always wants more. Being the most popular girl in school is really hard work. Ariella always has to make sure that all of the attention is on her, negative rumors are squashed, and that people fear her. She has no problem publicly humiliating you to put you back in your place if you try to stand up to her, so getting on her bad side probably isn't the best thing to do. Ariella keeps just a few close friends that she knows she can trust, but treats them more like servants than anything. They are obligated to tell her how beautiful and perfect she is all the time and can never steal the attention from her. She usually makes Carly and Valerie do her dirty work. Milan on the other hand, has become the closest to Ariella. She has taken Milan under her wing and teaches her everything she needs to know about running the school. Although she's not giving up the crown just yet, she will be graduating this year and needs someone to continue her legacy while she is gone. She wants that girl to be Milan. Ariella used to have a thing with Sean but they both got bored and decided to just be friends. She is now "dating" Jesse, but isn't really in love with him, and doesn't know that he really does like her. She just needed him to make Julian jealous and figured that he wouldn't mind being used. Julian is her real obsession. She has hinted to him that she likes him, but he just doesn't seem to be returning her feelings, which makes her furious. She isn't at all used to not getting what she wants. Ariella decided to keep trying. She believes that she can get him to fall in love with her if she really tries. She is extremely jealous of Milan and Julian's super close relationship, but convinced herself that it was purely platonic and she had nothing to worry about. However, she has recently started to understand that Milan might actually like him. She hasn't confronted Milan about it, but is keeping a very close eye on the situation.
Sean Michael Pierce
Sean is one of Jesse's best friends, and perhaps his biggest competition when it comes to social status and girls. The difference between Jesse and Sean is that Jesse hooks up simply because it will help his reputation. Sean on the other hand is obsessed with girls. He can't have just one. He never takes no for an answer. Once he makes up his mind that he likes a certain girl, she becomes his obsession. Once he finally gets her, he gets bored quickly and moves on to the next girl. Its actually kind of a curse. Sean used to feel bad about his cheating tendencies, but now blocks out his conscience and has just accepted that he is who he is. Some blame his obsession with women on the fact that his mother left him and his father when he was very young. It could also be a result of the example his father set for him by being married and divorced six times, and having countless mistresses during those marriages. Sean actually fears being alone. Although one might wonder how a guy who has a different girl every week could possibly feel lonely, Sean does. The girl he is and has been chasing for about three years now is Payton Evans. The fact that she always turns him down makes him try that much harder to get her. He still isn't sure whether he is in love with her, or if its just another one of his games. Deep down, he holds onto the hope that she might just be the girl that fills the emptiness and that she could possibly be the girl that changes him. However, he still fears that he might finally get her and it still won't be enough for him. Eliana is his cousin, whom his father adopted.
Payton Olivia Evans
Payton is every boy's fantasy, and every teachers nightmare. Trouble is kind of her thing. Its definitely not one of those cases where she just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time... she goes looking for trouble. Anything that she can do to piss her controlling parents off, she will. Payton just has a lack of respect for anyone with authority. When it comes to boys, Payton never stays with one too long. Labels and relationships aren't for her at all. It takes a lot to win her respect and friendship. A guy who thinks that they can just use her and lose her have another thing coming. She's a no nonsense kind of girl who will say what she thinks, do what she says she will, and can throw anything you throw at her back ten times harder. Sean has been trying to hook up with her since their freshmen year. Of course she thinks he is adorable and even almost gives in at times, but she refuses to be just another girl on his list. Playing games is her thing. She kind of has a thing with the new guy Oliver.
Oliver "Ollie" Andrew Collins
Oliver is one of the newest students at Everwood prep. Although his good looks and charm have won over the girls of the school, he is finding it hard gain male friends, mostly because the popular guys are jealous of him. Oliver acts like he cares about social status and money to please his snobby parents and try to win over friends, but he is a pretty down to earth guy at heart. He loves photography, art, and a good film. These interests of course makes Eliana his dream girl, but she doesn't seem to be interested considering that she shuts him down every time he works up the courage to talk to her. He hides behind a fake cocky attitude when he is really very shy and insecure. Oliver sometimes feels stuck in his high society life and just wants to escape from it. Its an endless cycle of parties and spending. His father wants him to study law but he really wants to become a director/artist, two jobs his father views as trivial and a waste of life. He has now realized that he will probably spend the rest of his life miserable and grow into a bitter old man just to please his parents. Oliver wishes he could just find the courage to stand up to his father and follow his own dreams. He has somewhat of a casual fling with Payton but its purely physical, and shes not the girl he really wants.
Eliana "Lana" Christene Marshall
Eliana is kind of considered an outcast at Everwood prep. She's one of those girls that pretty much rebels anything conventional and does her own thing in terms of fashion and lifestyle. Popularity means nothing to her. Payton is just about the only friend she's got. Eliana is pretty quiet and keeps to herself besides, not because she is shy, but because she doesn't feel that she fits in with the other kids. Unlike her classmates, Eliana wasn't born rich. Her father left her and her mother when she was three years old and her mother struggled financially. They moved around a lot before finally settling in New York. They were starting to do alright once Eliana got a part time job and her mother found work. Everything seemed like it was finally coming together. Just when she thought everything would be fine, her world came crashing down. She found out that her mother had breast cancer. The financial burden fell on her. She even considered dropping out of school to work so that her mom would be taken care of. Eliana was determined to keep her mother alive and had no doubt that they would beat the disease together. Sadly, her mom lost the battle a year after being diagnosed. She was then adopted by her uncle, Sean's father, who is her mothers only sibling. She appreciates what her uncle did but doesn't really feel close to him because he works so much. She also feels that the only reason he adopted her was because of his guilt of not helping his only sister. Sean disgusts her. They were close as kids, but grew apart as they got older. They do not get along at all so she is pretty lonely at home. She longs for the nights she and her mom would stay up late watching movies together and knows her life will never be the same again. Her uncle constantly reminds her that his money is her money, but being rich hasn't changed her. She is still the girl who loves old films, art, and music. Eliana knows Oliver likes her, and while she can't deny that he is adorable, she refuses to even talk to him because of how stuck up he acts. She can see that its all just a cover up which really bugs her. She wishes that he would just be himself around her. The fact that he hooks up with her best friend Payton isn't exactly helping his case either.
Elijah "Eli" James Hollands
Alix Winchester Cullen
Elijah is the class clown of the school and his parents biggest dissappointment. While his older siblings have gone on to be Lawyers and politicians, he doesn't have any real plans for the future. Eli just likes to live day by day and honestly doesn't know what he wants most of the time. He is spontaneous, romantic, and fun. He isn't exactly the classiest guy and prefers working on cars or surfing to the high class parties his parents constantly have. He feels so trapped and annoyed when he is surrounded by snobby people, which is sad considering who his parents are. He misses when his family was simpler and his parents were just starting their businesses. They were a much more close and humble family, but that was long ago. Elijah is different from most boys in the fact that he is a one girl kind of man. Love and relationships are a very serious thing to him. He is in love with Carly Forbes but knows that she would never go for a guy like him. He has accepted this because he refuses to change for any girl. He wants a girl to take him as he is. Considering that she is so materialistic and conceited, he doesn't even know why he likes her, but there is just something about her that he cant explain.
Carly Marie Forbes (Kendall) and Valerie "Val" Rose Forbes
Valerie: Jasper's Girl
Those two adorable, inseparable twins are Carly and Valerie. They are never seen apart, but are very different. Carly is the gossip queen. There's not a secret that gets by her, which is why most people think she can't be trusted. She doesn't do it to be purposely mean, she just loves to know things and talk. Shopping, Fashion, Boys, and Starbucks are the best things in her book. Carly is a major overachiever with perfect grades. She is always working on some project or joining another club. Her life is very fast paced to say the least. Carly hopes that she might one day be the queen of the school, like Ariella is now. However seeing as how Ariella and Milan have gotten particularly close, she doesn't see that happening and kind of views Milan as a threat. Valerie on the other hand is go with the flow, and not afraid to try new things. To fit into her social circle, she acts girly at school, but outside of school she is somewhat of a tomboy. She likes the beach, skateboarding, concerts, and parties. She is also a lot more straightforward than her sister. While Carly will flirt and play hard to get, Valerie will just come straight out and tell you that she likes you. Valerie They always swore that nothing would ever break them apart, however, they both have a crush on the same guy, Adrian. They both know that the other likes him, but refuse to acknowledge it for fear of an all out battle. However, tensions are building and its only a matter of time before one of them gets jealous of the other. While they used to be considered Ariella's little Minions, they have now gotten a lot closer to Milan and kind of consider her the new leader because Ariella will be graduating soon.
Adrian Paul Edwards
Adrian is an all around nice guy. He's got friends but doesn't consider himself popular. He also doesn't even notice the girls around school that practically drool over him. In his mind, he is just an average guy. Adrian doesn't consider himself better than anyone else and accepts everyone for who they are. He never really has a mean thing to say about someone. He wasn't always that way however. He used to struggle with anger issues but has used martial arts and other sports to learn to control himself. Now he is just a calm go with the flow kind of guy. That all changes when he plays sports though. Sports are his favorite thing in the world. He hopes to play for the NFL someday and is glad to have the support of his family to follow his dreams. He always gives a 110% and is at his happiest when playing a sport. Adrian is a well rounded athlete and is pretty much good at everything he tries. Unlike most rich families, his is very close knit and haven't forgotten where they came from. His father is a humble man who worked hard for everything his family has. They understand that they are fortunate to live the life they do and always try to give back. Not long ago, his brother was severely injured fighting overseas. He was paralyzed from the waist down and had to have one of his legs amputated. His brother, who has always taken everything life has thrown at him and made the best of any situation, is his biggest inspiration. That is why its so difficult for him to watch his brother be so unhappy. He knows Adam hates having to be dependent on his family and pregnant wife for everything and feels like a burden, so he tries to go and spend time with him as much as he can. This tragedy has made the Edwards family that much stronger. Adrian gets the feeling that both Carly and Valerie like him and doesn't know what to do about it. He doesn't know who he likes more.
