Twilight Relation: There are vampires in the other {Shadow} realm.
*Plot*
Once there was a world known to many; Its name was Earth. This world thrived and prospered, and many watched as it mantained life over the course of millions of years. The most sucessful species, humans, ruled the land with no fear. However, they forgot one thing.
They were not the only ones that existed in this universe.
There once was a small town huddled in a hillside in England. Not many people bothered with or knew about that town, but it was a nice and peaceful place to live at. There was green grass and meadows as far as the eye could see. There was also bright forests that lined the horizon, and a large hill where one could watch the sunset as the vibrant colors cascaded over the twilight sky. There was a creek that ran through the forest, and provided a source of water to the people in the town. The forest contained many twists and turns of old, worn out, and downtrodden paths. Old rusted train tracks cut through the forest, and an abandoned railroad station stood on the borderline of the forest.
14 year old, Chisa Inira, has always wanted to see a train pass through the old tracks, but her mother had to remind her that the last time a train passed through was over a century ago. One day, Chisa and a few of her friends decide to play down by the railroad tracks. They began to throw a ball back and forth, playing a game of catch. They squeal in laughter. Everything seems like a perfect evening, but it becomes a nightmare in a second. The breeze picks up and the trees start to sway. Chisa throws on her jacket and calls it quits, but a loud whistle screeched in the distance. "Run!" Chisa screamed, and her and her friends stumbled off the railroad. A shadowy train appeared, riding the tracks like a creature prowling in the darkness.
This train was like no else. The whistle sounded once more, and ghostly dark smoke blew from the pipe at the top.
It was indeed, a train made from darkness and shadows. A train that may change Chisa and her friends life forever.
"Ticket, Please."
*Important Notes*
-The shadow train leads into an alternate realm much like earth, however, the people who inhabit this place are shadows/spirits.
-Upon entering the shadow realm, you cannot re-enter the train back to earth unless you find the key.
-All shadow people resemble something specific.
-Staying with shadow people or mingling with them can slowly make you one as well.
-After entering the realm, you must look for a key that unlocks the train door. Without this key, there is no hope of ever returning.
-Shadow people don't have names, but when they shape-shift to humans, they use an alias.
-Some of the shadow people can take forms of regular humans, vampires, or animals, watch out!

Her parents still discouraged her, never the less, but the flames in her eyes were never distinguished.

However, his brother did not. Once their parents died, Shin didn't allow Kaito to say any more of his 'stories' and instead got him to play violin. Kaito loves playing the violin and is one of the few things he is very serious about. Kaito has always been curious about the train tracks, but not as much as the others.
Personality: Kaito is a very loud, bright and happy guy. He is very simple-minded and finds a lot of things to be fascinating. He has a lot of energy... too much actually. He could run around for hours and not get tired. It's practically impossible to make him mad. He's always smiling and forgiving to anyone who does his wrong. Kaito comes off as a careless fool a lot. He does have his sweet moments and hates it when people are sad- especially if it's someone he cares about. He is very protective of the ones he loves. Sometimes she has small flashbacks of her past. However it's usually small things like her being in a room (which she thinks was her bedroom) and two people arguing. She doesn't try to know more about her past. She loves anything black and usually comes off as a distant, shady, and dark person, which is one of the reasons people don't usually approach her.

Name: Alec Morgen
Age: 16

Theme Song:
Played by: Misuto
Alias: Gweneth
Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire
Friend or foe of the humans?: She tends to sway back and forth depending on whether or not she is thirsty.
Backstory/History: Gweneth, unfortunately, doesn't remember any of her past life. Occasionally, she'll see images of bits and pieces of her childhood, but not enough to piece together anything important. Though she tries not to think of her past of the way she died, it constantly weighs in the back of her mind, beckoning her to discover more about herself. Gweneth tends to have a rude nature, which most likely keys back to her past. Because of being a vampire, it's hard for her to stay near humans for a long time. She wants to, sure, but most of them decide to stay away because of her aggressive nature and thirst for blood.

Alias: Vincent Duccan
Shape-shifter or Vampire?: Shape-shifter
If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human and a python
Friend or foe to the humans: Foe.
Back story/History: Unlike most shadows, Vincent remembers most of his past. He knows he was human, and that he had a younger sister. While being human, he cared for his sister a lot and often became too overly protective over her. His mother was diagnosed with tuberculosis and unfortunately died when he was a mere nine and his sister only seven. After his mother’s death, he became rude, sharp-tongued, and didn’t care for his sister as much as he should have at the time. His father was at a loss of what to do about Vincent, as he was hanging out with the wrong people and being in the wrong places. His father would strictly tell him to not hang out with those people or to not talk back to him as Vincent did so often, but Vince refused and continued to be rude and argumentative. He took the train to the Shadow Realm one breezy night and hung out with the shadows for too long, thus turning into one himself. Now, with the influence of other shadows, he hates humans, regrets being human, and hates to be near them. He’d much rather do without them in the Shadow Realm.

If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human; Rabbit
Friend or foe of the humans?: Foe
Backstory/History: Remarkably, Angelica remembers how she died and what her life as a human was like, but she hates that life and wished it was never there. She recalled the many times she would be hurt in school from insults and terrible comments, and she recalled the time when she was so mad that she took her anger out on her pet rabbit by beating. She ended up killing the rabbit, and she never forgave herself. She remembered when her little brother would scream and cry at her for hurting the rabbit. One day, she went down to the lake, where she boarded the local train. Sadly, the train crashed, and the passengers were all dead, including Angelica. What she saw before she died – was a black rabbit.
She can be very energetic and hyper, and she loves to cause trouble and hurt others. She also whines a lot and asks questions frequently. She also has a hard time staying on task, and she rambles on most of the time. She also is very childish, and loves candy.

She would do anything to have him, even if it involved killing someone. After Ichirou’s death, Amaya couldn’t take the world without him in her life, and so she committed suicide. Alias: Atticus
Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire

He grew up there, but was always more violent than the other children. He made fun with dead animals that he found on the side of the street. He once brought a dead baby bird back to the orphanage to scare the other children. He was always described as morbid, downright insane, and sadistic. He was so mentally unstable that no one ever adopted him. At around age twelve, he began to go completely crazy. He was like this because he thought that no one would ever love him. At age sixteen, he committed suicide. Ever since then, he has lived in the shadow realm, and has been mentally corrupt, but manages to keep a low and steady profile there.

Slowly, Ichirou's green eyes open. He groaned and rolled over. In the morning he was usually active and right out of bed, but for some reason he didn't feel like that today --- maybe its because last night was a mess, but he really didn't know. Anyways, he knew he must wake the others. He jumped from his bed, and slipped on his clothes. He smirked and opened his door quietly. He knew just who he was going to wake up first. He quietly walked down the hall and slipped into Gweneth's room. He gawked at the sight. Gweneth was surrounded in bunches of stuffed animals (which was normal for her). He grinned sadistically and grabbed her favorite rabbit stuffed animal. He shook Gweneth on her shoulder, and said, "Look what I have!!! I'm going to show the others!!!" Quickly, he burst from the room, and ran down the stairs. He could feel Gweneth chasing him. The feeling came natural to him --- You don't know how many times Gweneth had chased him. Not to mention the time when she pushed him down the stairs.
Chisa-
Chisa blinked and opened her eyes. She could already hear Ichirou and Gweneth making a riot. She got up from her bed and looked down at herself. Her clothes were tattered and stained with tears. She sighed, brushed herself off and opened the shaded window. She glanced out. It was dark out, but dark with a radiant glow. She wasn't surprised. She shrugged and went downstairs, quickly slipping past Ichirou and Gweneth, before hearing Ichirou scream "Look at this!!"
Gweneth awoke as something--someone--shook her. Her eyes opened slowly, staring at Ichirou as he dangled her favorite rabbit stuffed animal in front of her, screaming words that she could barely make out. Still, the words she did hear were enough to get her out of bed in a nanosecond. Without even fixing her clothes, she ran after Ichirou, flinging curse words down the hall. "Get back here, you idiot!" she screamed as she ran, fixing her shirt as she went. What a terrible way to wake up. Being half-threatened, and having to bound down the stairs after a dumb twit. Normally, she wouldn't bother with going down the stairs. She once made a promise that no one would ever see her in her pajama clothes unless they waltzed into her room. Guess that promise was broken though. Ichirou was going to get kicked. Hard. And most likely in a place that he would hate to be kicked in. She'll have him meowing in pain, that's for sure.
-
Alec awoke to the sound of curse words and footsteps running down the hall. Well, more like frantic footsteps. He couldn't help but think that something was wrong, but as he opened the door to the hallway, he soon found that he was wrong. Nothing was wrong. You know, just two loons running down the hall. One carrying a stuffed animal and the other in pajamas--which she clearly was not happy about. He walked down the hallway behind them, rubbing his eyes in part confusion. After last night, there wasn't much to be confused about. This seemed nearly normal, if anything.
Dudes. TOO. MUCH. HOMEWORK.

Ichirou-
Ichirou laughed and ran down the stairs. "Look! Gweneth sleeps with stuffed animals! Gweneth sleeps with stuffed animals!" He chanted over and over again. He grinned and turned for a second to see her expression. It was priceless. He licked his lips and ran around the couches a few times. He just knew she was going to hurt him seriously for this, but he truly didn't care. Besides, he could always threaten her again, that always seemed to scare her out of doing things. He threw the rabbit carelessly in the air and caught it, smiling. He just loved to tease Gweneth. He gripped the rabbit from the ear and dangled it over the still breathing fireplace. "I'll drop it if you come any closer." He threatened, knowing that he was trapped here in the living room.
Chisa-
Chisa could not help to slip a giggle or two out. She knew the rabbit stuffed animal must be dear to Gweneth, but the way Ichirou had planned this was genius. It was almost like when she was little and played with her foster brother, even though he was only staying with her family for a short while. She folded her arms and watched them intently, to see what would happen next.
Gweneth's face was sure to be a bright red right now, as Ichirou danced and taunted. He was going to get it for this. Making her run down the stairs near humans in her pajamas and flaunting the fact that he had her stuffed animal and she didn't. If that didn't give her the right to kick him, then what he was doing now does. She narrowed her eyes and kept her threatening composure, despite the way her heartbeat quickened and skipped with slight fear. "You wouldn't," she said, her voice low and barely a whisper. He wouldn't drop her rabbit into the fireplace. He could be cruel, but not that cruel. Or was Gweneth's entire view point of Ichirou messed up? She imagined him to be an ass, which he is, but not ruthless and cruel such as this. She could deal with a lot of things. This just happened to not be one of those things. She didn't know what would happen if he meant what he was saying, or if she did take a step closer. Would he really drop it? And if he did drop the rabbit, what would Gweneth do? She had a feeling that she would freak, let out a quiet whimper, and perhaps even cry, but what would that leave the humans thinking? This emotional wall she built up to keep herself from others; it might just break. She felt her bottom lip quiver at the thought of her rabbit burning to ash in the fireplace. It was a thought that she couldn't deal with.
-
Alec walked down the stairs and sat down on the couch, watching as Ichirou teased Gweneth. Despite his previous thoughts about the two of them, he kind of felt bad for the vampire. She was beet red, and her bottom lip was quivering. Still, could he really do such a thing as speak up for Gweneth and take the rabbit from Ichirou to give to her? He was afraid of what the end result would be for doing that. Would Ichirou yell at him? Or maybe he'd let it go and Gweneth would be thankful that Alec had done such a thing. It could easily go the other way though, with the way the two seemed to have a major case of bipolar disorder.
I'll be right back, I've gotta go take a shower.

Ichirou-
Laughing maniacally, Ichirou began to swing the rabbit over the fire. His eyes focused on Gweneth, as he watched her quiver in fear. She was so gullible sometimes. He would feel completely horrible if he actually dropped the rabbit in the fire, but he had never planned too. "Its slipping!!!" He said, and the rabbit dropped from his hands. Ichirou lashed out and caught it within a heartbeat. He had planned that at least. He chuckled and flung himself on the couch, and tightly hugged the rabbit. "Dear bunny," he begun, imitating Gweneth's voice. "I would die without you!" He mockingly kissed the forehead of the stuffed animal, and held it out in front of him, a sadistic grin on his face, as he made a purring-chuckling sound.
Chisa-
Chisa looked on as the fight went on. She looked as these too almost as a brother and sister who teased and fought with each other constantly, although she knew they weren't related in any way. She wasn't even sure if it was possible for a shadow person to be related to another -- or a shadow person to be related to a vampire. Even if she still hated Ichirou, she admitted that he did have a sense of humor. Maybe a big, wide sense of humor, she wasn't sure if all of this was funny anymore or just plain cruel.
Ichirou is a sick, sick person. :'(
Gweneth felt her heart leap as Ichirou dropped the rabbit from his hands. She began to make a quick dive for the rabbit, until he caught it. She regained her posture as he sat down on the couch, mocking her some more. With the way he was making her voice sound rediculously high-pitched, she couldn't help but start to hate him. "I don't talk like that," she said quietly, shifting in her position. Do I? She felt herself twitch. She couldn't take the teasing anymore. It was beyond cruel in her mind. Within seconds, she was on the couch, aiming for Ichirou's throat with her hands. "I'm not the one who is going to die," she hissed, her fangs out. Despite her nearly strangling Ichirou, her face was still bright red and she felt herself shake the slightest bit. She couldn't really tell if it was from anger or embarrassment, or being upset with him. Whichever one it may be, she didn't like the feeling.
-
Alec shot a worried glance to Chisa. She seemed interested, if anything, in the dispute going on between Ichirou and Gweneth. He stared back at the two. He had almost leaped out of his seat to grab the bunny for Gweneth, but when Ichirou stopped it from falling and sat down on the couch, Alec let out a sigh of relief. He let out a stiffled chuckle as Gweneth threw herself on Ichirou, clearly trying to strangle him. If these two were brother and sister and still had their parents, he would never like to be the father. They're too harsh with each other, so it seemed.
Permalink Reply by Meo-Chan on January 21, 2013 at 8:16pm (I feel like he has split personalities? xD You got to love him though.~)
Ichirou-
Dammit!! She's really going to kill me now. He thought to himself as he felt Gweneth's hands around his neck. He coughed and chocked a bit, and he felt himself going pale. He struggled from her grip but it was in fact tight. "G-Gweneth... " he choked out. "I'm sorry." He felt like he had done something terrible, and that he went to far. He thought of only one action. Quickly he turned into a cat, and where Gweneth's hands had been on his neck were now around his furry cat body, in no danger. He mewed innocently, and stared at Gweneth with those beady almost forgiving cat eyes.
Chisa-
Chisa knew exactly when Gweneth began to almost strangle Ichirou that this was no ordinary joke. She jumped from her seat, and quickly rushed to break it up. She jumped back when Ichirou transformed into a cat. She didn't know he was that smart to think of that life saving plan. Although now that she thought of it, Ichirou was decently smart. She still stood alert near the couch in case anything happened.
(I dunno. I do love him, it's just that when I start writing Gweneth's reply I slowly begin to hate him. xD)
Gweneth narrowed her eyes when Ichirou turned into a cat, showing no sign that she was going to let go of him. It was a smart move, she had to give him that, but it was also quite foolish. He may have saved his neck, but now he was just a helpless stuffed animal, with a fireplace so near you could feel the warmth dancing on your skin. She stood from the couch, holding him in his hands, and walked towards the fireplace. "You see, Ichirou, you've been a very bad boy, and because of that, you're going to get the same treatment you gave to the rabbit stuffed animal." She grinned and held him by the scruff of his neck, waving him over the fireplace. She began to count down from three, and when she reached zero she dropped him over the flames, before quickly catching him and throwing him back to the floor, safely away from the fire. She hoped, that that had given him quite the scare, and that he would learn to never do such a thing again.
-
Alec's eyes widened at Gweneth's movement towards the fireplace. "Gweneth, I don't really think that that would be a good thing to d--" He stopped talking when she dropped him, but quickly caught him. He let out one more sigh of relief. These two were crazy. Absolutely. They were both suited to be put in a mental hospital. The worst part was, however, that he couldn't tell who deserves more to be put in the hospital. Gweneth or Ichirou. They were both cruel and insane, but who was more? Ichirou threatened to harm a single stuffed animal, where as Gweneth threatened to harm a real person...er, shadow.
