Twilight Relation: There are vampires in the other {Shadow} realm.
*Plot*
Once there was a world known to many; Its name was Earth. This world thrived and prospered, and many watched as it mantained life over the course of millions of years. The most sucessful species, humans, ruled the land with no fear. However, they forgot one thing.
They were not the only ones that existed in this universe.
There once was a small town huddled in a hillside in England. Not many people bothered with or knew about that town, but it was a nice and peaceful place to live at. There was green grass and meadows as far as the eye could see. There was also bright forests that lined the horizon, and a large hill where one could watch the sunset as the vibrant colors cascaded over the twilight sky. There was a creek that ran through the forest, and provided a source of water to the people in the town. The forest contained many twists and turns of old, worn out, and downtrodden paths. Old rusted train tracks cut through the forest, and an abandoned railroad station stood on the borderline of the forest.
14 year old, Chisa Inira, has always wanted to see a train pass through the old tracks, but her mother had to remind her that the last time a train passed through was over a century ago. One day, Chisa and a few of her friends decide to play down by the railroad tracks. They began to throw a ball back and forth, playing a game of catch. They squeal in laughter. Everything seems like a perfect evening, but it becomes a nightmare in a second. The breeze picks up and the trees start to sway. Chisa throws on her jacket and calls it quits, but a loud whistle screeched in the distance. "Run!" Chisa screamed, and her and her friends stumbled off the railroad. A shadowy train appeared, riding the tracks like a creature prowling in the darkness.
This train was like no else. The whistle sounded once more, and ghostly dark smoke blew from the pipe at the top.
It was indeed, a train made from darkness and shadows. A train that may change Chisa and her friends life forever.
"Ticket, Please."
*Important Notes*
-The shadow train leads into an alternate realm much like earth, however, the people who inhabit this place are shadows/spirits.
-Upon entering the shadow realm, you cannot re-enter the train back to earth unless you find the key.
-All shadow people resemble something specific.
-Staying with shadow people or mingling with them can slowly make you one as well.
-After entering the realm, you must look for a key that unlocks the train door. Without this key, there is no hope of ever returning.
-Shadow people don't have names, but when they shape-shift to humans, they use an alias.
-Some of the shadow people can take forms of regular humans, vampires, or animals, watch out!

Her parents still discouraged her, never the less, but the flames in her eyes were never distinguished.
Personality: She's very childish, despite her age. She always complains when things don't go her way, and she loves to be the boss of things. Ghosts, other dimensions, pirates, romance, you name it. Kaito would always tell stories that he came up with to his parents. His parents, being fiction writers, encouraged his imagination. However, his brother did not. Once their parents died, Shin didn't allow Kaito to say any more of his 'stories' and instead got him to play violin. Kaito loves playing the violin and is one of the few things he is very serious about. Kaito has always been curious about the train tracks, but not as much as the others.
Personality: Kaito is a very loud, bright and happy guy. He is very simple-minded and finds a lot of things to be fascinating. He has a lot of energy... too much actually. He could run around for hours and not get tired. It's practically impossible to make him mad. He's always smiling and forgiving to anyone who does his wrong. Kaito comes off as a careless fool a lot. He does have his sweet moments and hates it when people are sad- especially if it's someone he cares about. He is very protective of the ones he loves. Kaito is very imature sometimes and is always scolded by his older brother. Nobody has ever seen this kid cry or get mad.

Sometimes she has small flashbacks of her past. However it's usually small things like her being in a room (which she thinks was her bedroom) and two people arguing. She doesn't try to know more about her past. She loves anything black and usually comes off as a distant, shady, and dark person, which is one of the reasons people don't usually approach her.
Raven:
What does it resemble?: Secretive like a raven. Also tends to wear black a lot.
Played by: Ran-chan
Name: Alec Morgen
Age: 16
Gender: Male

When he heard the story of the Shadow Train, he was instantly amused and tagged along with Chisa to go to the train tracks.
Personality: He laughs at a lot, makes inappropriate jokes everynow and then, and often smiles to the point where it's contagious. He wouldn't harm a fly, and often trusts others to easily. He's kind, sweet, although his manners could be better...

Alias: Gweneth
Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire
Friend or foe of the humans?: She tends to sway back and forth depending on whether or not she is thirsty.
Backstory/History: Gweneth, unfortunately, doesn't remember any of her past life. Occasionally, she'll see images of bits and pieces of her childhood, but not enough to piece together anything important. Though she tries not to think of her past of the way she died, it constantly weighs in the back of her mind, beckoning her to discover more about herself. Gweneth tends to have a rude nature, which most likely keys back to her past. Because of being a vampire, it's hard for her to stay near humans for a long time. She wants to, sure, but most of them decide to stay away because of her aggressive nature and thirst for blood.

Alias: Vincent Duccan
Shape-shifter or Vampire?: Shape-shifter
If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human and a python
Friend or foe to the humans: Foe.
Back story/History: Unlike most shadows, Vincent remembers most of his past. He knows he was human, and that he had a younger sister. While being human, he cared for his sister a lot and often became too overly protective over her. His mother was diagnosed with tuberculosis and unfortunately died when he was a mere nine and his sister only seven. After his mother’s death, he became rude, sharp-tongued, and didn’t care for his sister as much as he should have at the time. His father was at a loss of what to do about Vincent, as he was hanging out with the wrong people and being in the wrong places. His father would strictly tell him to not hang out with those people or to not talk back to him as Vincent did so often, but Vince refused and continued to be rude and argumentative. He took the train to the Shadow Realm one breezy night and hung out with the shadows for too long, thus turning into one himself. Now, with the influence of other shadows, he hates humans, regrets being human, and hates to be near them. He’d much rather do without them in the Shadow Realm.

Alias: Angelica Mercury
Shape-shifter or vampire?: Shape-shifter
If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human; Rabbit
Friend or foe of the humans?: Foe
Backstory/History: Remarkably, Angelica remembers how she died and what her life as a human was like, but she hates that life and wished it was never there. She recalled the many times she would be hurt in school from insults and terrible comments, and she recalled the time when she was so mad that she took her anger out on her pet rabbit by beating. She ended up killing the rabbit, and she never forgave herself. She remembered when her little brother would scream and cry at her for hurting the rabbit. One day, she went down to the lake, where she boarded the local train. Sadly, the train crashed, and the passengers were all dead, including Angelica. What she saw before she died – was a black rabbit.
She can be very energetic and hyper, and she loves to cause trouble and hurt others. She also whines a lot and asks questions frequently. She also has a hard time staying on task, and she rambles on most of the time. She also is very childish, and loves candy.

She would constantly have to be by his side, rarely letting him play with his friends. She wanted him to be hers, and only hers. She would do anything to have him, even if it involved killing someone. After Ichirou’s death, Amaya couldn’t take the world without him in her life, and so she committed suicide. She is now the conductor for the train, and still has an obsession with him. One thing that she wouldn’t do, however, is tell Ichirou his past.

Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire
Friend or foe of the humans?: Foe
Backstory/History: As a young child, Atticus was abandoned by his birth parents, and sent to an orphanage. This was mainly because his parents did not want him, not because of any disorders. He grew up there, but was always more violent than the other children. He made fun with dead animals that he found on the side of the street. He once brought a dead baby bird back to the orphanage to scare the other children. He was always described as morbid, downright insane, and sadistic. He was so mentally unstable that no one ever adopted him. At around age twelve, he began to go completely crazy. He was like this because he thought that no one would ever love him. At age sixteen, he committed suicide. Ever since then, he has lived in the shadow realm, and has been mentally corrupt, but manages to keep a low and steady profile there.

Angelica sat on the edge of the bench. She put her hand on her forehead, as if to see better. "Look!" she shouted, and pointed ahead. As if she were a little child, she jumped from the bench and bounced around. She pointed and sang. "The humans have come to their death, the humans have come to their death!" Angelica chanted it over and over, and grinned slightly. She called the others over. "Let's go see what their doing first! You know, it would be considered rude just to kill them at first sight." She gleefully bounced ahead, careful not to alarm their 'visitors'.
Ichirou-
Suddenly, Ichirou stopped. "Alright, let's go on the rollercoaster first!" He grabbed Gweneth's arm, and began to drag her. He knew he would have to sooner or latter. Just as he was about to get in line with the others, he heard a familiar voice. The word 'death to the humans' rang in his ear, and he quickly yelled to the other. "RUN! Quickly, they mustn't catch you!" He shoved the humans from where they were standing, and whispered in a low voice to his shadow friends, "Its them. They want to kill the humans --- and us."
Chisa-
Chisa was about to enter the line after Ichirou, but she screamed when he quickly shoved her aside. What was going on? She quickly did as she was told and ran as fast as her feet could carry her. She didn't care about the scary shadows glancing at her, all she cared about right now was Ichirou's directions. She didn't even know what she was running from, but the tone in Ichirou's voice told her it was really important to leave as quickly as possible.
Permalink Reply by мιƨʋтσ~ on February 2, 2013 at 8:08pm Alarmed at Angelica's shouting and pointing, Vincent barely had the time to remind her of how good their hearing was. He thought about sneering at her for being so careless and loud, but instead let a smirk creep on his face as he heard Ichirou command the humans to run. "Ah! Look at that, Angelica," he said, tsking her with a slight shake of his head. "You've made the feeder mice scared and sent them running. Hasn't your mother ever taught you to be polite? You can play with your food, but you shouldn't be so quick to have them run away." He stood from his spot on the bench and tapped his index finger on his chin with an amused look. "Well, we can't have them going far, now can we?" And with that, he ran towards the humans, easily slipping in front of them. "My, feeder mice certainly are slow," he mused, grinning a devilish grin that was sure to frighten the humans even more.
-
Gweneth's eyes widened slowly at the chanting she heard in the distance. She watched carefully as the humans began to run at Ichirou's command, and gave him a look, as if to say, "this is why we should never have come here." She couldn't have agreed with herself more. If they hadn't come here, none of this would have been happening. Angelica and the others wouldn't have found out about the humans' whereabouts, and she wouldn't have to shove someone's face into the pavement--which she was rather looking forward to. "Someone get close to the humans. If no one does, they won't survive with Snake Boy over there calling them feeder mice." She wasn't exactly sure that they have heard that part, but still, she pointed Vincent out in the crowd and made a face. "I'll get the annoying one," she said, referring to Angelica. Pretty angry at this point, she made her way towards Angelica, hands balled up into fists. "Pleasure seeing you again," she remarked, her voice edged with sarcasm.
-
Alec blinked at Ichirou's command, but ran anyway. Why risk the chance of not running, and then dying? This was supposed to be a fun-filled day at the amusement park. Not a let's-run-for-our-lives-and-try-not-to-be-murdered kind of day. He gently placed his hand on Chisa's back, urging her to run faster, and skidded to a halt as a voice called them feeder mice. Strange thing to call them. If it were Alec's choice on what they would be called, it would be Team Good. They would be called Team Bad. It all seemed to work out in his head, but he decided it best not to say it out loud. "Feeder mice?" he questioned, tilting his head to the side and standing up straight, trying his best to remain calm.
Axel was startled at Angelica's shouting. So much so that it took his a second to actually understand what she was saying. He turned to look at Ichirou, Gweneth, Destrain, and Mei. They were surrounded by... humans? That puzzled him a bit. When was the last time he saw a human around here? A century or so? He stood up from the bench that he was sitting on and made his way over to where Angelica was. "Hello." he said calmly with his usualy friendly smile. He glaced at Gweneth"It's so nice to see you as well, Gweneth." he said with an honest tone of voice. Axel knew that Gweneth wasn't directing it to him, but Angelica. He placed a hand on Angelica's shoulder "Angelica, don't be so loud next time, okay? My ears are ringing." he said with a soft chuckle. He dropped his hand from Angelica's shoulder and lokoed at Ichirou, Destrain, and Gweneth "So..." he began casually as he crossed his arms across his chest "You're the human's babysitters?" he asked "Or.. are you planning on killing them all by yourselfs?"
-
Kaito ran as soon as Ichirou told them to. He didn't have time to think about why, all he knew was that Ichirou's tone of voice meant that they needed to run as if their life depended on it. Kaito knew that their lives really did depend on it. He stopped so abruptly that he almost fell over. He looked up at the guy in front of them. That smile the guy gave him scared the crap out of him. Oh no... this guy is one of the people that the Ichirou, Desstrain, Gweneth, and Mei warned them about... The ones who want to kill humans. Feeder mice? What the hell does that mean? He wants to eat us? He thinks were mice?
-
Mei cussed quietly under her breathe- so quietly that she doubted that even her fellow shadows heared her. Why were they at an amusement park anyway? Shouldn't they be working on finding the key? Oh well.. No use complaining about it now. Her top priority right now was to make sure the humans were okay. She looked at the humans running. What good is that going to do? She arrived where the humans and Vincent were a second after he did and stood in between him and the humans. She stood up straight, her bright red eyes staring up into his dark--almost black ones in a cautious manner. "Vincent." she said with a serious look on her face. " I didn't know you liked amusement parks." she said sounding as if they were the best of friends, when in reality they hardly ever talked. Mei didn't want to start a fight, but if it has to come to that... Was she willing to kill a Shadow for the sake of these humans?
Permalink Reply by Meo-Chan on February 3, 2013 at 9:32pm Angelica-
"So what. I don't give a damn whether they hear us or not, they're already scared to death. It will just make them more pleasant to kill." Angelica burst out in laughter, and advanced towards them. "Miss vampire is mine." She remarked, watching Gweneth with narrowed eyes. "This should be quite the simple task. All we need to do is take out the human's bodyguards first." With a morbid grin on her face, Angelica steeped towards Gweneth. She curled her fingers into a fist, and prepared to fight hand to hand combat. Maybe she would even make the little brat fight her from the tallest height of the rollercoaster.
Ichirou-
"Angelica, Axel, Vincent, Vivian, its been a while, now hasn't it?" Ichirou said with a fake smile. He tried his best to keep calm, but he knew that the human's lives were in danger at the very moment now. He glanced to the humans, who were at a safe distance, watching behind the shadow's protection. Addressing Axel, Ichirou said, "Babysitters? Where nothing of that sort. We're just trying to keep them away from the nasty paws of you." His fist where together, ready to throw a punch at any second, although he's rather claws out this fox's fur, hair by hair. "We can play this game the hard way, or the easy way. Winner takes all, what's your choice?"
Chisa-
Chisa grabbed her knees and sat on the ground. She couldn't stand this state of not knowing who these people were. She obviously guessed they wanted to kill the humans and her, but why? Were all shadows this vicious? Did they all want to kill the humans that entered their world, or was it just these few. More or less, if all the shadows wanted to kill them, why were Ichirou, Destrian, Gweneth, and Mei already not doing so? She shook her head, and watched as they threw insults at each other, ready for a fight.
Permalink Reply by мιƨʋтσ~ on February 3, 2013 at 9:51pm (Meo! You totally stole my idea about the rollercoaster! xD)
-
Gweneth stood straight and looked to Axel. "Use whatever is left of your brain, idiot," she snapped. "If we were planning on killing them, we most likely wouldn't be bringing them to the amusement park, nor trying to keep you away from them." She let out an amused laugh as Angelica curled her fingers into a fist, not the least bit frightened by the action. "Now, Angel--" a term Gweneth often liked to use to annoy the hell out of Angelica, "--do you really think you can beat me in hand to hand combat? I'm faster than you, as well as smarter and stronger. A rabbit can't beat a vampire, in case you wondering." She grinned and balled her hands up into fists, beckoning Angelica to make the first move.
-
Vincent frowned as Mei blocked his way to the humans. He let out a sigh and placed his fingers on his forehead in a dramatic manner, tsking quietly to himself. "Mei," he responded. "I didn't know you were so fond of humans," he said. "If I remember last time, you weren't so fond of the humans. What's so different about them this time? Is it the way they dress? Does their attire appeal to you or something?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow. "In all honesty, Mei, we both know that in this world those that protect never win, so step aside and you won't get hurt, okay?"
-
Alec watched as Mei stood in front of them, unsure of what to do. He honestly didn't want Mei to get involved in this, or Ichirou, Gweneth, and Destrian. He would rather them not get hurt in any way. But, they were protecting them, so he should at least appreciate that. He blinked and returned his attention to Chisa, who was know sitting on the ground, her arms wrapped around her knees. He bent down and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, allowing a small smile to slip onto his face. "It'll be alright, Chisa. There's nothing to worry about."
Axel chuckled at Gweneth's reply. "I think you're the one who needs to start using her brain. What, are vampires so dull they can't think rationally?" he asked. Then he looked at Ichirou sadly, as if he had really been hurt by what Ichirou said. "Our nasty paws?" he repeated. He shoot his head "Tsk, tsk." he said. "Surely, you dont think.." he began as his eyes changed and he gave Ichirou a twisted grin "..that you can defeat me." he said, his words harsh and bitter like venom. "Come on then, you stupid cat. I'll send you running with your tail between your legs. That is.. if you survive anyways." he said. "I wouldn't consider this a game. That would mean that you would and your little-" he looked at Gweneth, Destrain, then at Mei with a sly smile." friends have a chance of winning." He turned his attention back at Ichirou and slouched just the tinyest bit, ready to attack.
Mei looked at him with a bored look on her face, as if he was just a ball that she could easily kick out of her way, figuring that would upset him. Then she smiled at Vincent "That's sweet of you to care about my well-being but I think I'll take my chances. Besides, you should worry about yourself first. You know that a snake is nothing compared to a bird." She looked back at the humans and smiled reassuringly "Alec is right. Vincent is nothing to worry about." she turned back at Vincent. "I think you need to step aside. The humans are under our care." she took a inched a bit closer to him ''So. Back. Off." she said
Kaito gulped a bit. There was so much tension in the air. Much more than usual. Were they really going to fight? What would happen in the Ichirou, Gweneth, Destrain, and Mei lost? He wasn't ready to die. Not right now. Not when he had so much to live for. He shook out all negative thoughts from his head and just stood quietly, hoping for the best.
Permalink Reply by Meo-Chan on February 3, 2013 at 10:17pm Angelica-
"I'll have you in shreds by the time I'm done with you." She muttered, and stepped foward, flexing her fists out into tight flat hands. She readied herself as if she was going to strike out at any moment. She knew somehow she must lure the vampire onto the rollercoaster, where she could properly fight and win, but how? She grinned and suddenly, an idea flashed across her mind. What if she made Gweneth chase her onto the rollercoaster? She snapped her fingers and applauded herself in her mind, and prepared herself to transform into a rabbit and hop away towards the rollercoaster, hoping Gweneth would forget where she was going and follow her due to the anger and urge to fight that was currently building up inside of her. This plan was clever, very clever indeed.
Ichirou-
Ichirou threw his head back and let out a sadistic laugh. "Of course I can defeat you! You're just a hound. Why, humans shoot you for prizes back in their world." Beckoning Axel towards him, he said, "Come and make your first move, foxy," and laughed in mockery. This shouldn't be much of a feat, her decided, as he slightly advanced, fists ready to defend, for he was letting Axel take the first move. He grinned ever so slightly, and planned out a battle plan in his head, while he watched Axel hesitate.
Chisa-
Chisa looked up to see a comforting hand on her. "Thanks Alec. But I'm not really that scared at the moment, just a bit bewildered, that's all. It makes no sense, actually. Do you perhaps know who and why those people here?" She asked, doubting he would know the answer. She paused and shook her head. "Its a stupid question, you wouldn't know why any more then me." She sighed, and watched them. She hoped for the best, that the shadows that protected her so dearly were going to come out as the victors, and hopefully not in pieces.
Permalink Reply by мιƨʋтσ~ on February 4, 2013 at 7:47am Gweneth stared for but a moment as Angelica began to run away. She shook her head and rolled her eyes, before following quickly behind. She could be faster if she wanted to, but why waste the energy so early in the fight? She looked ahead of her and her eyes landed on the rollercoaster that Angelica was running towards. Was that her plan? Get Gweneth on the rollercoaster and then what? Throw her off? That didn't sound very pleasant to Gweneth. It was alright, though. She will just stop right before the rollercoaster cart, and impatiently wait for Angelica to get off. By then Rabbit Girl should be at least a little bit dizzy. She quickened her pace and skidded to a halt at the gates of the rollercoaster. "Do you honestly think that I'm going to get on that just to fight you?" she questioned.
-
Vincent tilted his head with a smirk on his face. "Haven't you ever watched Animal Planet?" he questioned, then shook his head. "You probably haven't, nor would you remember it. Well, let me tell you something. Pythons always snapped a bird's neck and had them for lunch," he hissed and glanced at the humans, then back to Mei. He was going to have plenty of fun with this. He leaned forward to be eye level with her, just inches from her face. "Well, what if their little protectors aren't around to care for them?" he whispered, his voice threatening and low.
-
Alec looked down at Chisa and offered a hand to help her up. "You should stand," he said, then added quickly, "Just in case something goes wrong." He shrugged his shoulders in response to her question. "I assume they don't like us," he responded. That seemed like the only reasonable answer. Why else would they be picking a fight with Ichirou, Destrian, Mei, and Gweneth. It didn't seem like a high chance that this entire thing is an act of friendship, like when Alec and his friends would wrestle in the yard. This was full of hatred and anger.
