Twilight Relation: There are vampires in the other {Shadow} realm.
*Plot*
Once there was a world known to many; Its name was Earth. This world thrived and prospered, and many watched as it mantained life over the course of millions of years. The most sucessful species, humans, ruled the land with no fear. However, they forgot one thing.
They were not the only ones that existed in this universe.
There once was a small town huddled in a hillside in England. Not many people bothered with or knew about that town, but it was a nice and peaceful place to live at. There was green grass and meadows as far as the eye could see. There was also bright forests that lined the horizon, and a large hill where one could watch the sunset as the vibrant colors cascaded over the twilight sky. There was a creek that ran through the forest, and provided a source of water to the people in the town. The forest contained many twists and turns of old, worn out, and downtrodden paths. Old rusted train tracks cut through the forest, and an abandoned railroad station stood on the borderline of the forest.
14 year old, Chisa Inira, has always wanted to see a train pass through the old tracks, but her mother had to remind her that the last time a train passed through was over a century ago. One day, Chisa and a few of her friends decide to play down by the railroad tracks. They began to throw a ball back and forth, playing a game of catch. They squeal in laughter. Everything seems like a perfect evening, but it becomes a nightmare in a second. The breeze picks up and the trees start to sway. Chisa throws on her jacket and calls it quits, but a loud whistle screeched in the distance. "Run!" Chisa screamed, and her and her friends stumbled off the railroad. A shadowy train appeared, riding the tracks like a creature prowling in the darkness.
This train was like no else. The whistle sounded once more, and ghostly dark smoke blew from the pipe at the top.
It was indeed, a train made from darkness and shadows. A train that may change Chisa and her friends life forever.
"Ticket, Please."
*Important Notes*
-The shadow train leads into an alternate realm much like earth, however, the people who inhabit this place are shadows/spirits.
-Upon entering the shadow realm, you cannot re-enter the train back to earth unless you find the key.
-All shadow people resemble something specific.
-Staying with shadow people or mingling with them can slowly make you one as well.
-After entering the realm, you must look for a key that unlocks the train door. Without this key, there is no hope of ever returning.
-Shadow people don't have names, but when they shape-shift to humans, they use an alias.
-Some of the shadow people can take forms of regular humans, vampires, or animals, watch out!

Her parents still discouraged her, never the less, but the flames in her eyes were never distinguished.
Personality: She's very childish, despite her age. She always complains when things don't go her way, and she loves to be the boss of things. She can be very clumsy at times, and bad at decision making, but that doesn't mean she can't be loving and caring. She finds her friends precious, and would do anything to save or help them.

However, his brother did not. Once their parents died, Shin didn't allow Kaito to say any more of his 'stories' and instead got him to play violin. Kaito loves playing the violin and is one of the few things he is very serious about. Kaito has always been curious about the train tracks, but not as much as the others.
Personality: Kaito is a very loud, bright and happy guy. He is very simple-minded and finds a lot of things to be fascinating. He has a lot of energy... too much actually. He could run around for hours and not get tired. It's practically impossible to make him mad. He's always smiling and forgiving to anyone who does his wrong. Kaito comes off as a careless fool a lot. He does have his sweet moments and hates it when people are sad- especially if it's someone he cares about. He is very protective of the ones he loves. Sometimes she has small flashbacks of her past. However it's usually small things like her being in a room (which she thinks was her bedroom) and two people arguing. She doesn't try to know more about her past. She loves anything black and usually comes off as a distant, shady, and dark person, which is one of the reasons people don't usually approach her.

When he heard the story of the Shadow Train, he was instantly amused and tagged along with Chisa to go to the train tracks.
Personality: He laughs at a lot, makes inappropriate jokes everynow and then, and often smiles to the point where it's contagious. He wouldn't harm a fly, and often trusts others to easily. He's kind, sweet, although his manners could be better...

Played by: Misuto
Alias: Gweneth
Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire
Friend or foe of the humans?: She tends to sway back and forth depending on whether or not she is thirsty.
Backstory/History: Gweneth, unfortunately, doesn't remember any of her past life. Occasionally, she'll see images of bits and pieces of her childhood, but not enough to piece together anything important. Though she tries not to think of her past of the way she died, it constantly weighs in the back of her mind, beckoning her to discover more about herself. Gweneth tends to have a rude nature, which most likely keys back to her past. Because of being a vampire, it's hard for her to stay near humans for a long time. She wants to, sure, but most of them decide to stay away because of her aggressive nature and thirst for blood.

Alias: Vincent Duccan
Shape-shifter or Vampire?: Shape-shifter
If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human and a python
Friend or foe to the humans: Foe.
Back story/History: Unlike most shadows, Vincent remembers most of his past. He knows he was human, and that he had a younger sister. While being human, he cared for his sister a lot and often became too overly protective over her. His mother was diagnosed with tuberculosis and unfortunately died when he was a mere nine and his sister only seven. After his mother’s death, he became rude, sharp-tongued, and didn’t care for his sister as much as he should have at the time. His father was at a loss of what to do about Vincent, as he was hanging out with the wrong people and being in the wrong places. His father would strictly tell him to not hang out with those people or to not talk back to him as Vincent did so often, but Vince refused and continued to be rude and argumentative. He took the train to the Shadow Realm one breezy night and hung out with the shadows for too long, thus turning into one himself. Now, with the influence of other shadows, he hates humans, regrets being human, and hates to be near them. He’d much rather do without them in the Shadow Realm.

She ended up killing the rabbit, and she never forgave herself. She remembered when her little brother would scream and cry at her for hurting the rabbit. One day, she went down to the lake, where she boarded the local train. Sadly, the train crashed, and the passengers were all dead, including Angelica. What she saw before she died – was a black rabbit.
She can be very energetic and hyper, and she loves to cause trouble and hurt others. She also whines a lot and asks questions frequently. She also has a hard time staying on task, and she rambles on most of the time. She also is very childish, and loves candy.

Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire
Friend or foe of the humans?: Foe
Backstory/History: As a young child, Atticus was abandoned by his birth parents, and sent to an orphanage. This was mainly because his parents did not want him, not because of any disorders. He grew up there, but was always more violent than the other children. He made fun with dead animals that he found on the side of the street. He once brought a dead baby bird back to the orphanage to scare the other children. He was always described as morbid, downright insane, and sadistic. He was so mentally unstable that no one ever adopted him. At around age twelve, he began to go completely crazy. He was like this because he thought that no one would ever love him. At age sixteen, he committed suicide. Ever since then, he has lived in the shadow realm, and has been mentally corrupt, but manages to keep a low and steady profile there.

(Alright. You're welcome to rp here whenever you want to. ^.^)
Mei looked at him, suprised by the question. Why was she helping him? She should be stepping on him, making him beg for his life and apologizing for almost breaking her spine. She just stayed there silent, wiping the blood from his chin and mouth. When she was done she dropped her hands and looked down at them. "I don't have a reason to." she finally answered after a few minutes. She looked up at him "You would've done the same thing too, right?" she asked, not entirely sure of the answer he was going to give. "Besides.." she began looking away "I don't like to see people in pain. Not even you." she said, her cheeks flushing the tiniest bit in emberassment. She has never said anything like that before. She felt a bit corny saying it (and thus her emberassment), but it she had no other way to put it.
Kaito leaned back a bit and let out a sigh in releif. "They finally stopped fighting." he said. He was so glad that none of them died. He still didn't like Vincent, nope not one bit. He looked then looked at Ichirou's fight then at Gweneth's fight. It was still going on... He hoped they would be okay.
Vincent stared at her. How was he supposed to answer that? He honestly didn't think that he would do what Mei did. If anything, he'd just walk away. He wouldn't help, and that sudden realization made him flinch. But, what else could he have expected? There's no other answer to the question. He wouldn't have done anything to help her. But he refused to sound like a jerk and answer honestly. Instead, he decided to remain silent. He blinked. She didn't like seeing people in pain? She seemed pretty entertained just a few minutes ago when he screamed. Was that because the humans helped her remember that she didn't like to fight? They were helpful, he had to admit. They were able to knock him over and get her not to kill him. In a way, it was almost as if they were on his side as well. Though, they probably still hate him. He noticed her cheeks become a rosy color, and he would be laughing if none of this had happened. "Thank you," he spoke suddenly, breaking the silence. He looked at the humans and just nodded his head, not wanting to say thanks again.
-
Alec nodded his head. "Yeah, now if only the others would stop fighting," he said, remembering the scream he heard from Gweneth before. He almost thought that maybe Vincent would get them to stop fighting, however, that didn't seem plausable. He looked down at the ground for a while, until his head shot up when he heard Vincent apologize. He gave a slight smile in response to Vincent's nod of the head.
Mei looked at him and gave him a gentle smile "Anytime." she said with a soft giggle. She then looked at the humans and walked over to them. She bowed her head "Thank you. I owe you my life." she said. She couldn't believe she was saying that. Out of all the humans that have come, they were the most peculiar. She walked back to Vincent "Can you stand?" she asked, holding her hand out to him. Then she noticed something. Something dreadful! So much so that she stood dumbfounded, staring behind Vincent, with wide eyes. "Oh my.." she said. Behind Vincent was a sort of mirror. There she could see her dress, all cut up and bloddy and covered with dirt. Her hair, a wild mess. The bruise on her cheek was huge, her bottom lip had a cut, and her face was swollen. "Now I know why you called me ugly.." she said frowning at the mirror. "I look terrible! Oh no, oh no." she said trying to at least fix her hair. She has never looked so bad before, and she didn't like it. She then stopped and coughed into her first. "Sorry." she said feeling emberassed one more time. After all of this, she was worried about her appearance? She put her hand out again toward Vincent.
Kaito nodded back at Vincent, happy to see that he didn't seem to want to kill them anymore. That was a bit reassuring. But then again... Axel and Angelica. Were they going to kill them? He sure hoped not. He had has enough with fighting and death. He raised at eyebrow at Mei's reaction to the mirror. Were are girls like that? Maybe it was just Mei. She looked like the type of girl who really cared about her appearance.
Just as Vincent was about to take Mei's hand to stand up, he noticed her staring behind him. He looked at her in confusion, a tad bit worried about what could possibly be behind him, but when he looked he saw nothing but her reflection in a mirror. He rolled his eyes. Girls. Always caring about their appearence. He let out a low chuckle, but quickly put a stop to it. Perhaps now wasn't the right time to laugh, she could get angry again. He bit down on his lower lip and looked at his face in the mirror. His entire face was bruised, his nose was most certainly broken, and their was dirt all over him. "We both look ugly at the moment," he remarked dryly. "Besides, nobody will give a rat's ass about our appearence right now." With slight hesitation, he took her hand and stood up slowly, in case he would become dizzy. Luckily, he seemed alright, except for the massive headache that he had. He didn't expect that to go away for a while.
-
Alec sat back down on the pavement, his legs crossed in front of him and his arms holding him up. He was happy to see that both Mei and Vincent would be alright, and the thought of him having something to do with it made him rather proud. If they hadn't shoved Vincent off of Mei, none of this would have happened, and either Mei's spine would have broken, or they would just continue to fight. He liked it much more this way.
"I give a rat's ass!" she said frowning at her appearance. "I give two rat's ass." she then stopped and smiled at him "So you do chuckle every now and then." she said. "You're right about something though. You look horrible." she said with a small giggle. She helped him up carefully "Do you want to lay down." she said, looking at a bench. She was so worried about Vincent that she hardly noticed her pain. The thing that hurt most was definitely her spine. Though he might not have broken her spine, he might have broken a rib or two. She grabbed his hand with one hand and his shoulder with the other, just in case he would fall over. She looked over at the humans. "Don't get too comfortable, please." she said looking over at Ichirou and Gweneth's fight. "It's not over yet."
Kaito brought his legs to his chest and laid his cheek on his knees. He looked at Gweneth and Angelica's fight, his eyes showing obvious worry. He felt tight around his chest. Kaito really wanted to cry but was afraid of Mei getting mad at him .He wished he was back home. Then maybe this fighting wouldn't be happening.
Vincent rolled his eyes once more. "Well, gee, I wonder who's fault that is," he murmured and shook his head. "No, but I think you should." In case she had any thoughts of rejecting to lay down or sit, he reached his hands out towards her sides as if he were going to pull her into a kiss, and brushed his hands gently against her ribs. He saw the humans give him a slight glare, but he quickly stepped back once he saw her flinch and pointed to the bench. "Don't reject it," he told her, narrowing his eyes. It felt odd. He had stopped fighting and so had Mei, but Axel, Ichirou, Angelica, and Gweneth were still caught up in their own fights. He owed the humans his life, that was for sure, but he wasn't just going to stop his own motives. Humans don't belong in the Shadow Realm, nor should they have brought them here in the first place. He'll let them be this time and the next, but there was no promises after that. He wouldn't be able to control Angelica's or Axel's actions, either. They are free to do whatever they want.
-
Alec sat up straighter when Vincent touched Mei, but quickly calmed down when he saw that he just wanted her to sit down on the bench. "Do we look comfortable?" he asked Mei, tilting his head. "Because none of us are." He stared at the ground and ran a hand through his hair. As soon as this is over, they had better all head right back to the building and rest.
She chuckled at his remark then frowned when he told her to sit down. "No, I-" her sentence was cut off because when he touched her ribs, she sucked in her breathe shraply and shut her eyes. There was no doubt about it, her rib was broken. She looked at him with a small frown on her face, a bit angry that she had to sit down. "Fine." she said. "But first.." she began, putting both of her hands on his arms and looked up at him with a serious look on her eyes. She lowered her voice so that the humans wouldn't hear them "You're planning on attempting to kill these humans again right?" she asked. She then turned to Alec "No? I'm horrible at reading faces. Forgive me." she said before turning back to Vincent.
Kaito stiffened when he saw Vincent touch Mei. 'He had better not-' he thought. He then relaxed when Vincent stepped away from Mei. He wished that Mei would listen to Vincent and sit down. He wanted to walk up to her and ask her directly is she was okay but his legs felt heavy.
(( I gtg. Goodnight! ))
-
Vincent raised an eyebrow at her when she began to refuse. He glanced at her hands on his arms and noticed the serious look on her face. "If I was I wouldn't tell you," he responded, but shrugged his shoulders anyway. "Of course. Humans don't belong here, and Ichirou, you, and the others should have never brought them here. But not the next time, as I owe them and you. You brought this on them yourself, you know. Now go sit down at that bench." The last part came out a little stricter then he had expected it to.
-
Alec shrugged his shoulders in response to Mei. "I was smiling, so it's partially my fault." He was very tempted to tell Mei to go sit down, and make Vincent sit down as well. They both seemed to be refusing it, however. They both needed it though. They were bruised, bloody, and probably still wincing in pain every now and then. The "probably" was perhaps unnessacery.
(Okay! Goodnight, Misuto! :) )
Mei stared up at him for a long time, ignoring him when he told her to sit down. "Well.. then." she let go of his arms "You were a human here though, right? Why don't you help us look for the key? That way, you can get rid of these humans without breaking your nose." she said. She turned him around and gave him a gentle push to the direction of the bench. "Go sit." she said. She turned around and began to walk back to the humans, her arms wrapped around herself. She stopped halfway and looked down. "Human's are going to come here again, and again, and again. Are you really planning to fight everyone who helps them?" she then continued to make her way tp the humans and stopped right in front of them. "Do you guys want to head back to the apartment? It might be safer for you there."
Kaito watched as Mei made her way towards them. She looked like she was really in pain. Though her face was composed, her eyes were shrouded with pain. Was it just him, or was her legs shaking? He looked at her "Mei, I thik you need to sit down.." he said frowning when Mei shook her head.
Vincent let out a stiffled laugh. "That's what you're doing? You're helping them find the key?" he questioned. "I thought you were just protecting them or something. I didn't know you were going on an adventure to find something that might not even exist." He shot her a glare after she gently pushed him towards the bench. There was something wrong with her. She was too kind. She needed to sit a lot more than he did. "Not everyone," he responded. "Just those that get in the way." He saw her shake her head and refuse to sit down once more, and he had enough of it. He walked over to her and grabbed her wrists, pulling her over towards the bench. He put his hands on her shoulders and made her sit there. "Now, sit here, or I will personally see to it that you can't sit again," he hissed, hoping that she would stay there.
-
Alec quickly stood up when Vincent grabbed onto Mei's wrists. "What are you--" He stopped when he noticed that Vincent was just making her sit down. Damn. For someone who was trying to be nice, he had an awfully strange and contridictory way of showing it.
(short :O)
(Hey so I might nit be on as often because my internet is getting cut off Dx)
Mei didn't have time to response to Vincent when he pulled her. She looked up at him her eyes widened just the slightest bit, supised by his actions. Was he trying to be nice? She grabbed his wrist and pulled him down so that he sat next to her. "How many times do I have to tell you to sit down?" she asked. She turned her attention to the direction of her house and sighed. "I need to change." she said looking down at her dress. She wanted to go home and take a long shower then change into clean clothes. She looked at her hair and frowned. "Do you have anything sharp, like a razor?" she asked. She gently put her hand on her cheek "I can't believe you punched me.
Kaito was prepared to pull Mei away from him, even though it might not have been possible. He kept forgetting that they weren't human. He watched as Vincent forced Mei to sit and titled his head to the side. That was him trying to be nice, right? He really needed to work on his people skills
