The Twilight Saga

Twilight Relation: There are vampires in the other {Shadow} realm.

*Plot*

Once there was a world known to many; Its name was Earth.  This world thrived and prospered, and many watched as it mantained life over the course of millions of years. The most sucessful species, humans, ruled the land with no fear.  However, they forgot one thing.

They were not the only ones that existed in this universe.

There once was a small town huddled in a hillside in England.  Not many people bothered with or knew about that town, but it was a nice and peaceful place to live at. There was green grass and meadows as far as the eye could see. There was also bright forests that lined the horizon, and a large hill where one could watch the sunset as the vibrant colors cascaded over the twilight sky.  There was a creek that ran through the forest, and provided a source of water to the people in the town.  The forest contained many twists and turns of old, worn out, and downtrodden paths. Old rusted train tracks cut through the forest, and an abandoned railroad station stood on the borderline of the forest.

14 year old, Chisa Inira, has always wanted to see a train pass through the old tracks, but her mother had to remind her that the last time a train passed through was over a century ago. One day, Chisa and a few of her friends decide to play down by the railroad tracks. They began to throw a ball back and forth, playing a game of catch. They squeal in laughter. Everything seems like a perfect evening, but it becomes a nightmare in a second. The breeze picks up and the trees start to sway. Chisa throws on her jacket and calls it quits, but a loud whistle screeched in the distance. "Run!" Chisa screamed, and her and her friends stumbled off the railroad. A shadowy train appeared, riding the tracks like a creature prowling in the darkness.

This train was like no else. The whistle sounded once more, and ghostly dark smoke blew from the pipe at the top.

It was indeed, a train made from darkness and shadows. A train that may change Chisa and her friends life forever.

"Ticket, Please."

*Important Notes*

-The shadow train leads into an alternate realm much like earth, however, the people who inhabit this place are shadows/spirits.

-Upon entering the shadow realm, you cannot re-enter the train back to earth unless you find the key.

-All shadow people resemble something specific.

-Staying with shadow people or mingling with them can slowly make you one as well.

-After entering the realm, you must look for a key that unlocks the train door. Without this key, there is no hope of ever returning.

-Shadow people don't have names, but when they shape-shift to humans, they use an alias.

-Some of the shadow people can take forms of regular humans, vampires, or animals, watch out!

Bio: As a young girl, Chisa had always been interested in the stars and the moon. She had always wondered if there was another place out there besides Earth. Her parents still discouraged her, never the less, but the flames in her eyes were never distinguished.

Personality: She's very childish, despite her age. She always complains when things don't go her way, and she loves to be the boss of things. She can be very clumsy at times, and bad at decision making, but that doesn't mean she can't be loving and caring. She finds her friends precious, and would do anything to save or help them.

Ghosts, other dimensions, pirates, romance, you name it. Kaito would always tell stories that he came up with to his parents. His parents, being fiction writers, encouraged his imagination. However, his brother did not. Once their parents died, Shin didn't allow Kaito to say any more of his 'stories' and instead got him to play violin. Kaito loves playing the violin and is one of the few things he is very serious about. Kaito has always been curious about the train tracks, but not as much as the others.

Personality: Kaito is a very loud, bright and happy guy. He is very simple-minded and finds a lot of things to be fascinating. He has a lot of energy... too much actually. He could run around for hours and not get tired. It's practically impossible to make him mad. He's always smiling and forgiving to anyone who does his wrong. Kaito comes off as a careless fool a lot. He does have his sweet moments and hates it when people are sad- especially if it's someone he cares about. He is very protective of the ones he loves. Kaito is very imature sometimes and is always scolded by his older brother. Nobody has ever seen this kid cry or get mad.

Sometimes she has small flashbacks of her past. However it's usually small things like her being in a room (which she thinks was her bedroom) and two people arguing. She doesn't try to know more about her past. She loves anything black and usually comes off as a distant, shady, and dark person, which is one of the reasons people don't usually approach her.

When he heard the story of the Shadow Train, he was instantly amused and tagged along with Chisa to go to the train tracks.

Alias: Gweneth

Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire

Friend or foe of the humans?: She tends to sway back and forth depending on whether or not she is thirsty.

Backstory/History: Gweneth, unfortunately, doesn't remember any of her past life. Occasionally, she'll see images of bits and pieces of her childhood, but not enough to piece together anything important. Though she tries not to think of her past of the way she died, it constantly weighs in the back of her mind, beckoning her to discover more about herself. Gweneth tends to have a rude nature, which most likely keys back to her past. Because of being a vampire, it's hard for her to stay near humans for a long time. She wants to, sure, but most of them decide to stay away because of her aggressive nature and thirst for blood.

Alias: Vincent Duccan

Shape-shifter or Vampire?: Shape-shifter

If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human and a python

Friend or foe to the humans: Foe.

Back story/History: Unlike most shadows, Vincent remembers most of his past. He knows he was human, and that he had a younger sister. While being human, he cared for his sister a lot and often became too overly protective over her. His mother was diagnosed with tuberculosis and unfortunately died when he was a mere nine and his sister only seven. After his mother’s death, he became rude, sharp-tongued, and didn’t care for his sister as much as he should have at the time. His father was at a loss of what to do about Vincent, as he was hanging out with the wrong people and being in the wrong places. His father would strictly tell him to not hang out with those people or to not talk back to him as Vincent did so often, but Vince refused and continued to be rude and argumentative. He took the train to the Shadow Realm one breezy night and hung out with the shadows for too long, thus turning into one himself. Now, with the influence of other shadows, he hates humans, regrets being human, and hates to be near them. He’d much rather do without them in the Shadow Realm.

If shape-shifter, what does it shape-shift into?: Human; Rabbit

Backstory/History:  Remarkably, Angelica remembers how she died and what her life as a human was like, but she hates that life and wished it was never there. She recalled the many times she would be hurt in school from insults and terrible comments, and she recalled the time when she was so mad that she took her anger out on her pet rabbit by beating. She ended up killing the rabbit, and she never forgave herself. She remembered when her little brother would scream and cry at her for hurting the rabbit. One day, she went down to the lake, where she boarded the local train. Sadly, the train crashed, and the passengers were all dead, including Angelica. What she saw before she died – was a black rabbit.

She can be very energetic and hyper, and she loves to cause trouble and hurt others. She also whines a lot and asks questions frequently. She also has a hard time staying on task, and she rambles on most of the time. She also is very childish, and loves candy.

She would do anything to have him, even if it involved killing someone. After Ichirou’s death, Amaya couldn’t take the world without him in her life, and so she committed suicide. Alias:  Atticus

Shape-shifter or vampire?: Vampire

Friend or foe of the humans?: Foe

Backstory/History: As a young child, Atticus was abandoned by his birth parents, and sent to an orphanage.  This was mainly because his parents did not want him, not because of any disorders. He grew up there, but was always more violent than the other children. He made fun with dead animals that he found on the side of the street. He once brought a dead baby bird back to the orphanage to scare the other children. He was always described as morbid, downright insane, and sadistic. He was so mentally unstable that no one ever adopted him. At around age twelve, he began to go completely crazy. He was like this because he thought that no one would ever love him. At age sixteen, he committed suicide. Ever since then, he has lived in the shadow realm, and has been mentally corrupt, but manages to keep a low and steady profile there.

Angelica-

Angelica's eyes widened when Gweneth had pushed her and put the heel of her boot on her neck, but she wasn't that much afraid, but more like shocked. "Damn, that really hurt." Angelica remarked, and made a face. "Now, does your prince approve of his darling killing another? We might as well have to ask him." She smiled and turned her head. "Ich-" She was cut short when Vincent threw Gweneth from her. She got up and smoothed her hair and brushed the dirt off of her. "That's right, you show her, Vincent!" Angelica exclaimed. "Would this brat like to die in this way?" She remarked, glancing at Gweneth with a dark purple gaze.

Chisa-

"Absurd." she remarked, before folding her arms and sitting on the nearest empty bench. She had enough of this world --- Its people, the people's behavior, and even the natural mood of this place. She just wished she could find the key and go home already. But then she shivered as she remembered home. Why would she want to go back? After all, that place was as much as a boring heap of dump. At least this world had a little excitement mixed in with it. She scolded herself for thinking of these matters, and put her hand on her chin, resting her elbow on her lap.

Gweneth sat up slowly, careful of Vincent's movements and behavior. She cracked a small smile. "Now, you wouldn't want to do that. I mean, I know what's wrong with you, but do you know what's wrong with me? Your nose is broken. Would you like me to snap it off instead of letting you heal?" she questioned, tilting her head. "Does Angelica remind you of your sister, Vincent? Is that why you care so much about her? Because she acts like your sister and has the same blonde hair your sister has?" She slowly stood up from the ground, only to be forced back down again with a forceful shove.

-

Vincent glared. "She doesn't remind me of my sister at all." Though, Angelica did remind him of his sister, though he wouldn't speak of that. The fact that Gweneth even knew that he had a younger sister freaked him out. He doesn't believe he mentioned his sister to her before, but perhaps she could have been snooping around. Vincent shoved her back to the ground. "That was your first warning, get up again and you'll miss your eyes and ears."

(I'm back!! xD Instead of watching the movie I drew an epic picture of Ciel.)

Angelica-

Angelica gasped. Sister? Even though Vincent and her were 'close friends' or so she thought, she never even knew that Vincent used to have a sister and that she might have reminded him of her. In fact, he never really spoke of his human life. Angelica stood there frozen. Even so, how did Gweneth know this and not her. "V-V-Vin-" She struggled to grasps words to speak. "D-Do I? Is it true?" She asked, before solemnly blinking and folding her hands on top of her lap, with her mouth ajar. She wasn't sure if this was that right time and place to be asking Vincent such a question, but she really was curious. Was that the reason why Vincent cared so much for her and protected her so dearly?

Vincent bit his lower lip and glared at Gweneth. He didn't want Angelica, or anyone, to know so much about his human life. So how did she? Was she that sneaky that she knew so much about him? "You look like her, but you don't act that much like her," he said quietly. "My sister was quieter than you are, and she would never harm anyone or anything. She hated me whenever I killed a spider." He didn't know why he was saying so much. But he felt like Angelica perhaps should know about his younger sister, and that maybe it would be better if she did. "How did you know I had a sister?" he asked Gweneth, tilting his head.
-

Gweneth, with a shrug of her shoulder, just grinned. How did she know, exactly? She herself didn't have a very good answer. She knows nothing about Vincent, just that he has a temper just as bad as she does. It was just luck. Luck that decided to work with her this time, and get both Vincent and Angelica distracted from her. "Lucky guess," she responded. "I didn't know that you had a sister, you just played along. But I suppose, Angelica, that Vincent only cares about you because you remind him of his sister. If you had brown hair, he would never care for you."

Angelica-

"T-that's not true! He'd care for me weither I had brown hair or blonde hair! Right, Vincent?" Angelica jumped to her knees and looked foward, straight at Vincent. "Isn't it? Say its right! Say you do care! You care! Say you do!" Angelica cried. Tears began to form in her eyes, and slowly flowed down her cheeks. "You care..." She whispered, and slammed her fists on the bench. "You've always cared!" Angelica shivered and put her head down, crying. She didn't know why she was feeling this way, but no one have ever cared for her as much as Vincent did. Actually, no one had ever cared for her.

"Stop making her cry!" Vincent screamed at Gweneth and kneeled down beside Angelica, placing his hand on her back. "I'd care for you no matter what," he whispered to her, hating to see her cry. It reminded him of all of the times his sister cried for his mother, and he hated those memories. He wanted them all to just go away. He wanted Angelica to not cry. "I care, I care," he whispered, repeating it over and over again as he hugged Angelica. "Of course I care."

-

Gweneth carefully inched her way back to the humans after Vincent screamed at her. She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. She honestly wasn't expecting such a reaction. She was expecting to be hit or kicked, not for Angelica to cry and for Vincent to comfort her. It made her rather angry--at herself. She was angry because she honestly didn't like seeing someone crying in such a way and having to have someone else comfort them. She caused it, that's why she was angry.

Angelica-

Angelica sniffled and leaned in to hug Vincent. Even if he acted so tough, he could be a real softy at times, although that didn't matter at a time like this. "I care..." She repeated, and hugged him tightly. She began to wipe away her tears. "I want to go home... I want this to be over...." She said quietly. "I want you to comfort me. I want you to be there for me, like a big brother." After she said that, she burst into more tears. She knew so little of Vincent, but she still wanted him to be happy, and if reminding him of his sister would do him good, than that's exactly what Angelica wanted to do for him. She slowly let go of Vincent, hating to break from his grasp. She wished she could be in his presence all the time, but she knew that that would not be the case all the time. She sighed and tried to wipe more of the tears away. How weak she must look now, to the humans and the other shadows, she thought.

"We can go home in a little bit," Vincent told her, smoothing out her hair and nodding his head slowly. "I've always been here for you, haven't I?" he asked her, wiping away stray tears that slid down her cheeks. He didn't know if he wanted to be like a big brother to her. He felt bad about it. As if he was replacing his little sister. But, he would never see her again, so this is okay. Having someone to care about and protect is just what he needs. Another little sister to take care of. He would never see his sister again, but Angelica is here, and always will be, as long as nothing happens to her or to him. And he wasn't going to let anything bad happen, because this was important to him. He didn't want to lose another sister. He made a mistake in neglecting to pay attention to his sister for so long once his mother died, and didn't listen to his father. He made his sister cry so many times by refusing to play with her or refusing to go to his mother's grave and lay flowers there. He didn't want to make such mistakes again.

(I'm such a softy. I'm totally not tearing up right now. ;_;)

(xD I know right? I'm surely not D'aww'ing at every reply.)

Angelica-

Angelica nodded, and grabbed his hand while he was wiping away her tears. "Will you be my big brother forever?" She asked, with deep, tear filled purple eyes. She almost burst of crying once more, but she bit on her lip to hold in the wails. All she wanted right now was to cry for a long time, and lay her head on Vincent, just so she knows that he's there. All she ever wanted was for somebody to care. Just one. She didn't wanted many people to pamper her and treat her with immense luxuries, all she wanted was for just one, only one, to protect her and care for her as long as she lived. And to return the favor, she'd vow to protect them and care for them all their life, as long as the world still spun.

(I'm not gonna cry. I'm not gonna cry. Screw it. Let the tears begin)

-

Vincent nodded his head. "Of course," he answered. "Now stop crying. There's nothing to be worried or upset about," he told her and hugged her close once more. He mouthed a thank you to Gweneth once she had opened her eyes, and she responded with a nod of the head, before lying back down on the ground, presumably because of her massive headache. He turned his attention back to Angelica and smiled down at her. He would like it for Axel and Ichirou to finish their fight up so that they could all go home, but there was no point in rushing them. Might as well let them continue fighting until one of them is too hurt to continue. Hopefully Ichirou and not Axel.

(Be strong Misu- Misut-*sobs* I can't take it!!)

Angelica-

Angelica hugged him and agreed to stop crying. She sniffled a bit and rubbed her eyes and looked over at the others. Surely there faces would have been struck with shock, but were they struck with happiness instead? She turned from them and smiled back at Vincent. "Can you tell Axel to hurry it up please?" She sniffled,  "I want to get some candy on the way home, too." Angelica scooted back to her seat on the bench, and closed her eyes for a moment or so. She felt complete now. She felt like she had a family, but in truth she always did. No matter how evil others thought of them, they were always her dear family to her, and she would go through hell and back for them if she had to.

(Sorry I haven't been on! Dx Omg... Vincent and Angelica's scene right now... I bawled. Do you mind if I say that there's a forest in the shadow world?"

Mei stayed quiet as she listened to Angelica whine. She rolled her eyes and sighed. "So childish. Don't you know the meaning of grace and poise?" she asked. Usually she wouldn't be bothered but her head hurt like crazy. It felt like her brain was splitting in half. She stood up when Vincent pushed Gweneth away, prepared to launch at Angelica or Vincent if they tried anything. However, she stood to fast and it hurt her more than she predicted. She

winced quietly and put her hand on her side. What was this bitter taste in her mouth? Blood? How annoying. She watched Angelica and Vincent's as they embraced each other. Such moving and loving moments...... irritated the heck out of her. Why? She had no idea. Was it because she didn't remember much of her past? Maybe it was because the chances of her ever caring for someone so much was imposible. Was she sad? Jealous? Lonely? Whatever it was, she wanted them to stop. She wanted to drop them in a dark hole so that she didn't have to see them nor hear them. Wow... I'm such an ugly and twisted being. she thought to herself. She let out a dry laugh. "Pathetic." she said, turning away from them to watch Axel and Ichirou. Saying those words, she didn't know who she was directing them to. Vincent and Angelica, or her.

Axel fell to the ground and stayed there for a few seconds. Darn, darn, darn it all! How could he have been so stupid as to underestimate them? He didn't expect Vincent nor Angelica to lose. How could this have happened? His body was in pain, his head was bleeding nonstop, and to make things worse- he was having difficulty breathing and keeping his cool. Maybe is he had use his hands.... Maybe. Maybe he should quit now. Ichirou was starting to his his vital points. He heard Angelica whine and let out a chuckle. She wanted to leave him behind? "Please be quiet, Angelica." he said in a soft voice. He sat up and looked at Ichirou. "Okay." he said putting his hands out "You win." Axel stood up and strecthed. "Well, I am a shadow of my word." he said turning to the humans. "Well leave for today." He walked over to where they were and inspected each one of them closely. "I couldn't help but overhearing that you were looking for a key?" he asked, his tone back to his usualy friendly one. He  flashed them a charming and friendly smile, as if he never intended to hurt them in the first place. "I can help you with that. I seem to recall hearing from another shadow that there were a group of shadows.. or vampires? Oh I can't remember. Anyways, that a group of them are protecting the key somewhere deep in the forest." he then stopped put his index finger under his bottom lip, as if he was trying to think. "Hmmm... or was it somewhere in town?" After a few seconds of thinking, his eyes brightened, almost like a as if a lightbulb was turned on inside his head. "Ah I remember now! Yes I believe it was the forest. Oh I can't really remember who told me that, because I have better things to do than to worry about such trivial things, but I'm certain I heard that from someone in town." he said smiling. "I can lead you guys there. I remember that the shadow showed me the way."
