I haven't read it yet. I'm not ready to move on from my obsession with Twilight. So I keep reading the books over & over till I get tired of it. I'm going on round 3 now, so maybe soon.

I did. It's awesome. I thought there would be nothing I like more than Twilight, but who knows?

Do you have the paperback? It has a bonus chapter inside. I read it and it was like the book isn't complete without it! It was from Mel's point of view.

i have read the host and thoroughly enjoyed it. i have the paper back and the bonus chapter is a must read! it does complete the book. i am so ready for the movie to get going

Hey guys, great news! The Host is on its way to the big screen: Variety.com: "Twilight's Meyer..."

I'm so excited to be working with Nick Weschler, and Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz to bring The Host to a visual format. They've all been a dream to work with, so lovely and collaborative, and I feel like we're in a really good place to make a great movie together. And then to have Andrew Niccol writing and directing? Truly awesome. If you've never seen Gattaca, go watch it now. One of my favorite movies of all time. It's such a great example of character driven science fiction, which is ideal for The Host, no? I'm having an absolute blast imagining different dream casts, which I would post if people didn't take my silly blogs so seriously these days. I'm looking forward to seeing the cast lists you come up with in the fansite forums, and if any of them match mine.

So, very exciting. Yay Host!

Got it , read it, laugh cried, laugh, sighed wow what a ride!  I'm a Adult fan,have all books love-love-love can't get

enough twi saga; but while waiting for eclipse movie and after reading bree tanner I had to have some reading.

Santa brought me (aka my husband) got me Host for Christmas. It took me longer to invest into the story,but, once

hooked it really allowed me to look at us hairy and human folks from the outside. I've puttered with writting and I know

just how hard it is to put flow into a story that allows the reader to invest in the story.Host had all of Ms. Meyer's flavor

but, from a really unique perspective! Keep up the great work ,and please---I know you gotta have a life,but, write and

share more Ms. Meyers. As  a adult, you have given me the regift of enjoying my reading again! cudo's X a thou ljd

I loved the Host!! It started out slow but heated up quickly if you are in the begining and reading it for the first time it can be confusing but trust me keep reading everything will make since and the book gets really really good. Draws you in just like the twilight series. Great book! Definalty one of my favorites.

I sure do agree.   I started it about 3 times, but stuck with it and just finished it this weekend, and O what a book. Love it, love it, love it.  

 

Do do hope we get another book from her to read soon, I so love how she writes.

Read it loved it,would love to see it in film.I know it isn't as well known but the shere breath of it,the"what if's" could make

it beyond compare. I wish all who can read give this a try;it gives sci-fi a new and novel ideal.I feel it was a breath of fresh

air, not that I am in the smallest way to give up the vamp read ever!

I have it but haven't gotten around to reading it yet! I feel so so bad too because I do love Stephenie's books so so much! Now im going to have to get the paperback to read that extra chapter! I am a little mad that it wasn't included in the Hardcover! Paperbacks are just not as good in a collectible since! But I forgive her so easy because its Stephenie Meyer after all, who wouldn't!
