Bella's Remarkable Self Control as a Newborn, how was she able to maintain it?

Discussion topic: When Bella "awakens" from her "vampire-ization" in "Breaking Dawn" Edward, Jasper and Carlisle are prepared to physically restrain Bella, as all newborn Vampires must be. But to their amazement she is able to maintain an "unnatural" degree of self control.

Question: Bella's Remarkable Self Control as a Newborn, how was she able to maintain it?

As always we look forward to learning the answer.

Dear Kayla,
I think that you are exactly right. Her love gave her the self controll to be able to tolerate so much.

Bella first and foremost was born to be a vampire. When she was human she fit in best with them rather than humans or even werewolves. Bella was able to prepare herself as much as possible for the mental battle that she would be fighting within. To strengthen that she had the love and support from all of the Cullen family to help her with the change and the support from her husband that she was getting to spend forever with. Her life was finally making sense with her family that she thought she would never have and that is why I think she was able to stay in control as well as she did. There was too much that she felt she had to lose and so much that she had to prove to herself that she would be able to do it. Bella was also able to listen to the stories of the others when they were turned and each of their struggles when they became vampires. Their misfortunes helped her prepare even more because she was chosing this life rather than the other way around. Bella looked at her friends and families humanity as her reason as to why she did not want to hurt humans and I think that this is what ultimately was the driving force in her self-control. She could put their faces in the place of a potential victim and stop herself from allowing the urge to satisfy that monster that was lurking.
WELL SHE WAS MENTALLY PREPARED FOR BEING A VAMPIRE AND SHE WAS FRIGTNED WHEN EVERYBODY SAW THAT SHE HAD CONTRO SHE DID NOT BEILIEVED EITHER! MAY BE HER CONTROL WAS RENESMEE SHE WANTED TO BE WITH HER SO SHE DID IT FOR HER(WHAT KIND OF MOTHER WIIL NOT DO ANYTHING TO BE WITH HER CHILD).
