To Be or Not to Be a Vampire... Bella human vs vampire

I thought Meyer dealt with Bella changing to a vampire really well, we all knew it was coming, just how. Somehow I prefered bella as a human with all her vulnerabilities and her angst, I perfered the realtionship with Edward as the fierce protector (particularly against Victoria on the mountain in Eclispe.) Since Bella became a vamp she started fending for herself which I felt took away the potency of their intimate connection. Anyone feel the same?

yea kinda when she was human bella was all shy and scared sometimes but when she turned into a vamp she turned all thouf (srry 4 my weird typing) and less scared and bella and edward became even more closer

i do i wish she would have stayed the same but then she wouldnt be able to spend the nites with edward remember if she stayed human she wouldnt be as pretty and it would still hurt edward when he kissed or you knowed with her because her blood is so potenet to him
